Yo! I passed my SEC+ certification today. Just wanted to say thanks for the PBQ breakdowns. I read online that those may be a large portion of your points so I watched all your vids and they did in fact come in handy.
Thanks for everything you do, really enjoyed watching your videos helped out a lot. I took the 601 but I know your 701 videos will be just as good as all of your 601 vids. Helped me pass my test today🎉🎉🎉. Thanks again lifetime subscriber
Hello Friend... I thank you for the sheet, i learned them all by recording my voice and listening them as i drive, i had version 601, i have been self studying 601 since September, since being in a class wasn't an option with my job i do, last night i finished chapter 11 from Darrell Gibson's book, i am so anxious because i still do mistakes on preparation tests, especially in the questions regarding general WiFi systems, i wish there was a sheet for them too. I am planning to do a good rehearsal and take the test around end of may from 601, If i won't pass 601 i am afraid i will have to start all over again, stuck in my current job for next half year? Could you give me the examples of major differences in between 601 and 701? If in case i will fail 601, i can just focus on new information presented on 701 so i won't have to go whole book again loosing yet another couple of months, i am OTR truck driver, i love my job, but this job leaves you lonely, and depressed being away from scenarios where you can probably make new friends, socialize and have a healthy network to bring your life new positive changes.
I was tokd that 701 was wasier due to 35% less content. However I still recommend gokng for 601 since you've been studying it. Also you have until July 31st thats the official last ssy gor 601 exam. If you thknk you're going to fail in may. I highly suggest if you haven't already purchased a voucher. I suggest purchasing the exam with a retake voucher. I'm currently studying 701 so I have awhile now. So much to learn and you'll pass it dude. You got this and I'll pass this year as well. I want to try late June or early July so this month im goibg realky hard now. Im at CyberNow Labs. It's week 3 for w Security + which is 8 weeks. Then 12 weeks hans on soc experience. Those 12 werks will be crucial gaining hands on lab soc experience.
Layer 7 is where application-specific protocols like HTTP, FTP, and SMTP operate. IPsec doesn't handle application protocols or interact with application-specific data. Instead, it ensures the secure delivery of packets containing that application data. The confusion about IPsec being at Layer 7, it might stem from how secure communication is integrated into applications. While applications benefit from IPsec indirectly, the protocol itself is firmly rooted at Layer 3 of the OSI model.
@@pathaha4870 i passed and didn’t get one port question, not saying that you shouldn’t learn some of these, but definitely not all of the ones in this video

you take 701?? can you tell me about PBQ
@mohammadyawer3174 I took the 601. Got a firewall set up pbq. A possible threat identification, a server connection and a data classification pbq.
just passed CASP, renewing A+/Sec+/Net+/Cysa+ in the process.........
A correction that I want to let you know that SMTPS uses port 465 which is widely being replaced by STARTTLS with port 587.
very helpful! Thank you!
Nice pacing. Thank you.

Thanks for the vid. Do you have any vids regarding the PBQs?
You mentioned there aren't as many ports to remember on the 701. Would you say that 701 is easier to pass than 601 or are they about the same?
Hey sorry but why is IPsec in Layer 7? All my resources say IPsec is layer 3 and ISAKMP layer 4 as it relied on UDP.
Can anyone clarify?
Layer 7 is where application-specific protocols like HTTP, FTP, and SMTP operate. IPsec doesn't handle application protocols or interact with application-specific data. Instead, it ensures the secure delivery of packets containing that application data.
The confusion about IPsec being at Layer 7, it might stem from how secure communication is integrated into applications. While applications benefit from IPsec indirectly, the protocol itself is firmly rooted at Layer 3 of the OSI model.
