I have been looking for someone who taught the peekaboo boxing style with this amount of understanding for years. Thank you so much for teaching the basics and the nuances of the style.
Glad you’re getting value from the videos! Many years ago I was in your shoes as well - looking into every dark corner of RUclips for what little videos there were… Until I decided to move to Catskill and learn it for myself, so we can pass it on to the next generation.
Thanks for this channel. My nephew wants to be a boxer. I was a boxer and my son was a boxer. I was also a Judoka & Jiujitsu grappler. In the late 90s met a Leung Ting Wing Tsun sifu named Keith Fain in Clarksville TN who rag dolled me when we touched hands so became his student. I still taught boxing and grappling but for self defense relied upon Keith Fain Wing Tsun KunFa. My nephew wants to learn peek-a-boo boxing so I've sent him your channel. You're a good teacher. Thank you.
This has been really helpful, one of the coaches in a gym i used to go to said that my body type suits this style but i couldn't find any video on here that taught the basics on it, glad i found this, will begin to practice this on and on once i make my own slip bag
These videos are awesome man! It’s so great seeing new faces on RUclips teaching classic styles. I’ve been watching a Soviet coach (Alexey Frolov) and his popularity is exploding right now. I hope the same happens for you
I am undersized heavyweight. 6,0 ft and 102 kg. But suprisingly I am fast for that weight, im not overweight. And Ive found that only peek a boo style work for me. Usually heavyweight figters are super tall or they are punchers. But with peek a boo I can easily cut distance and work in inside position. Work on your strengths, always. Peek a boo isnt the best styyle because its exhausting and its harder to move head all the time rather than stay by your guard and work with long jabs. But its suitable for shorter guys
@@R.E.I.Rich88 As of right now RUclips is all I have time for… But in the future I’ll be creating a platform in which everyone can properly learn the style.
@@peekabooboxingacademy copy….so I’ll ask here, there’s no official Peekaboo virtual training with official timed drills from beginner to advanced for us to follow if we not physically able to be in Catskill or do we have to physically be there to get the training..
Great videos overall and is really helping me get the hang of the peekaboo, but the audio seems to be tilted to the left. If you need an editor hit me up. Also love that you are trying to get the basics right instead of trying to harp on views and just get a cash grab.
I will give 'boxing' one merritt/compliment..you guys have a training style that doesnt stop..tenacity..that is where you have the advantage over your average fighter!
I have an ashtray near me..slip that.. Or im playing pool and got a broken weapon in my hand..slip that.. Even weaker..you wanna slip but i got a chair i can put between us.. My message: do not take one technique as a free for all defense.. Learn your environment and practice how to flow in whatever situation..
We are here to learn the sweet science not how to throw shit at eachothers faces in a pub after drinking a few too many pints. Get out of here with that street fight bs if you wanna go do that then carry a knife on you. Most boxers are very against violance in real life anyways and even if they would be in an altercation the best martial art for street fighting is 100 m sprint
@@alswedgin9274. Boxing is a sport. If you don't like it or don't like sports in general don't stalk a boxing sport channel. You speak with a childlike mentality. A weapon can incapacitate any person. Doesn't mean any person has the same chance to get hurt than a martial artist. When it comes to self-defense, anything that works to protect yourself is better than not having it, be it weapons, fighting skills or more people.
Another keyboard warrior. Mike Tyson survived a violent home life , very violent streets, juvenile detention, pro boxing and adult penitentiary where steel shanks & homicidal prison gangs create a gladiator environment. But you can disable Mike Tyson with a butterknife? How presumptuous.

How fast the slip bag moves mainly depends on the length of the rope. What do you recommend for the length of the rope? Thanks for teaching us.
