Wow who knew that I could be mesmerized for 4 minutes by watching the HAIM girls literally just walking down a street. I was expecting some kinda storyline thing but this was SO much better. Damn I bet it would be fun to join in on their choreography particularly from 2:54!!
When the camera changes angles and focuses on the green shirted girl on the left, the angle is subtly dutched and aiming upward, probably to compensate for her height, compared to the taller girl on the right. I think this is the point where my breast fills with pride for her as I see her as a fully mature woman and not a girl “playing at” womanhood. The effect is only strengthened by the common street clothes. She is not wearing the show-person’s garb, masking her identity. She is appearing precisely as she is, and the audience becomes directly privy to her magnificence. Towards the end, these feelings only increase and are multiplied by three as the worms eye retreating dolly grants them stature appropriate to their accomplishment. How proud should their parents be? Very proud indeed.
My favorite song from the new album is Little of Your Love. The songs "Kept Me Crying" and"You Never Knew" come as second favorite and third favorite. "Found It in Silence" and "I Want You Back" are also in my TOP 5.
The song may not have grabbed me at first but the video was so simple and lovely I couldn't help but enjoy it. Then I realized the song was actually pretty good.
It's hard to look away from one long take. Total respect for hitting your marks and limiting the screw ups. Opposed to a video that flashes 5,000 different scenes in 3 minutes, takes a week to make and millions of dollars. I'll take simplicity any day.
I stole my friends girlfriend a couple of weekends ago (I know, a shitty thing to do but what can you do). The final click happened when this song was playing, our eye contact told us both we had to have sex that night. We sneaked from the party and I took her to the most scenic beach view you could imagine. We went into the water and had each other all night, passionate deep love making under the moonlit sky. I get shivers even thinking about it. Memories...
As an ex single parent, they're all growed up now, having a young kid with you excuses you. People think you're just playing with your little one. It's amazing the things you can get away with. My favourite was singing out loud in the supermarket.
What a refreshing Video & Great song☺ I'm 60+ years old so it's great👍 to find something fresh on the music scene when there's so much crap out there!!!
This music video is basically four minutes of three girls walking down a street and is somehow incredibly compelling. I find this more interesting to watch then music videos with a million dollar budget and I honestly don't know why. HAIM magic.

Ok let's not go too far here. "Best synchronized music videos EVER" ??? No. It is cool though and a great song.
@@DanK123 Don't negate Jack's opinion by imposing yours. Better to accept it, whether you agree or not, as his way of appreciating the video.
I love these girls it's not everyday you have 3 sisters that can sing like this
Katey Brown the Staves
The drumming thing they do at 3:10 is so satisfying to watch
they're so underrated
imane djn there's a difference between a band being underrated and people not knowing about them
says a ariana grande fan
This is timeless. I wish I had been their manager. They had and have more potential than they realized.
I feel nostalgic with this song. For some reasons i feel back to around mid 90s.
Hendra Thang That's because it sounds like that Donna Lewis song, I Love You Always Forever.
That's exactly how I dressed in the later 90's: bootcut jeans with tshirts tucked in.
The 90´s is going back!! ...whit the good music!!
Memories...
@sergio Delgado Ummm...You could not steal your friend's girlfriend? Sorry, but you asked.
Legend has it they haven't stopped walking since and Summer Girl is proof.
haha But the question is which one would you'do'!?
@@KOKINGWAYNE -_-
@@KOKINGWAYNE All three
they still be walking on the new single "Now I'm in it"
The finally took a long awaited break on NIII
1. Haim’s choreography sparks joy
B. Haim’s walk dancing is what we all wish we could do when walking down the street listening to tunes!!!!
As an ex single parent, they're all growed up now, having a young kid with you excuses you. People think you're just playing with your little one. It's amazing the things you can get away with. My favourite was singing out loud in the supermarket.
@@shakesfirst2443 my thoughts exactly 💃☝
One of the most beautiful music videos. All in one shot, superb choreography. Deserted Ventura blvd. Amazing song. Fantastic.
These are beautiful videos
you guys killed it! so so proud to have been a part of this, thanks for the opportunity jake and thank you ladies for absolutely killin the choreo!
Ian Eastwood of course you are behind those incredible accents! ❤
Great choreography :)
wooowww Ian you are literally doing everything now a days! This video was so amazing
Ian Eastwood u
AND Francis Farewell Starlite?! You two now HAVE to work together... cmon now. Let's go!
What a refreshing Video & Great song☺ I'm 60+ years old so it's great👍 to find something fresh on the music scene when there's so much crap out there!!!
Why can I not stop watching this video ?
It is Good combination and nice move
They have very mature voices. Beautiful.
this is how i walk on the streets with my headphones on
I would love to also, but I worry I might got hit by a car especially so many delinquents here in my place.
so do I! haha
Found that street: www.google.com/maps/@34.1508905,-118.4486871,3a,75y,96.73h,89.02t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s1L9AGB7ZJn9qS-2MOEFdBA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
guho blazez0r me too 😂😂😂
This music video is basically four minutes of three girls walking down a street and is somehow incredibly compelling. I find this more interesting to watch then music videos with a million dollar budget and I honestly don't know why. HAIM magic.
Katie McGowan yes
All the budget went to closing down Ventura & Van Nuys
@@erinmaidensfx892 all the budget went on a stunt driver - ruclips.net/video/H-VLMHTQ0t0/видео.html
I think this turned out better.
@@skaklaalwkskli why can't they walk on the road with out closing it?
it's their awesome moves
It's weird how i can almost understand each of their personalities just from their walk
hahahaha same here
You’re right! Love it!
THEY LOOK LIKE ELDERLY WOMEN
Micro expressions
Skirt girl: Slayyy queen
Jacket girl: i would probably lose a fistfight with her
Green girl: says _bruh_
Use this song when you get new wireless headphones to make sure there is no lag. The hand motions on drum beats make it perfect. Also great song.
Haim are time travellers from the 80s here to give us amazing music
They traveled quite literally with Florence and her Machine. 🤔 Theory adds up.
Wilson Philips?
From the 70's
Totally agree
I think this songs has a vibe from “I love you always forever by Donna Lewis”.
Ok it's gotten to the point where I think Danielle Haim could literally punch me in the face and I would thank her for it.
emma russell your fuckin crazy
emma russell that reminds me of what PWR BTTM said about Dame Helen Mirren, on Pitchfork's Over/Under and then it all went sour...
😂
Queens of choreography!!!
marypo96 Was Haim in 22 Taylor's MV or not?
no
please watch new rookie girl group *blackpink's - as if your last* new music video which release just 5 hrs ago and support them
P.s :- already have 4 million views within 5 hrs
Dancing partner of Mino in winner's Really Really We don't understand what they're singing at all? I love Kpop but now I'm into English musics because i can understand the words they say
quick, let's make dance covers of this song!
My goodness this is so good. Haim sisters draw me in just watching them walk down the street. Great song.
couldn't stop smiling! :)
the girl on the right killed the runway!
I just love the way Danielle moves; she just seems so effortless, with subtle moves. I especially like the sequence that starts at 3:20 - amazing.
The cloudy overcast sky is so perfect for the emotional vibe of this song. I think the best word is poignant. 😢
Like old school modern music. Awesome!
the middle girl has some MOVES
paramoreforlife And she sings and has scary skills on the guitar!
her name is Danielle. lol
Actually the choreography was done by Ian Eastwood. He's amazing at what he does. They definitely picked the right guy for the job
Val No...Este choreographed the moves.
the middle girl had a name you know, it's Danielle
I love Alana's voice so much
I love how natural these young women are!
