Some people have a lot of gland dropout/damage and could have a very hard time improving their dry eye symptoms. Some people can improve in a matter of weeks.
@@DrEyeGuy thank you so much. I woke up with some blurriness in one eye that I noticed when I put my contacts in. I went to the eye Dr and that was the first time I heard I had MGD and blepharitis. I’m hoping this is temporary. I do eyelid wipes and 15 mins of warm compress at night. I don’t know if it’s working because I haven’t put my contacts back in yet. I’m praying this is temporary.

I am a 23 old and I have a lazy eye and I can’t see anything except a fog 🥹. All the doctors told me that you should live with it. But I have hope that there will be a treatment for my condition.
Hey man, I got lasik 3 days ago and the doctor said I had a dot of SPK on my left eye from dryness, this was 1 day post op, I didn’t have it beforehand, will this go away just by using my tears? That’s what he told me it would, I’d like a second opinion.

Hey, love your videos! I have a question, I have an eye prescription and recently i've been thinking about getting contact lenses instead of glasses because glasses tend to darken my nasal bridge. This is the last prescription I got for my glasses some time ago Sph Cyl Axis IPD R -2.00 180 L -.25 -3.00 160 70mm For the right eye's sph part there are just two horizontal lines, idk what that means What type of contact lenses do you think would work best for this prescription? is it a good idea/solution to switch to contact lenses to get rid of the issue with the nasal bridge darkening? What I have been thinking about is getting myself the RGP hard contact lenses due to their affordability
My guess the two horizontal lines is indicating "plano" or 0.00 for your spherical power, but definitely check with your eye doc to make sure. I wouldn't be able to make specific recommendations for your eyes without examining them, definitely something to talk with your eye doc about. RGP lenses can be great for vision clarity, especially with people who have astigmatism.
Can you please make a video on conjunctivochalasis. I am a 19 yr old female i fear that i have this condition because from past 8 months i have dryness,foreign body sensation and pain only in my right eye. Went to 5 eye specialists in my country but all of them have said i just have dryness they gave me steroids and hydrating drops course of 21 days but no relief found On my all visit i never asked them about conjunctivochalasis but i feel they may have misdiagnosed is it possible? Also i can feel my conjunctiva is loose also when i evert my upper eyelid a saggy skin comes along with it i think that's my loose conjunctiva creating folds and friction causing me pain dryness and a foreign body sensation
Please reply doc it would be a great relief. Actually I also have health anxiety but this time I can actually feel the symptoms which is making my living worse and im scared to have any surgery on my eye😢😢😢
Hi, sorry to hear you are going through this. I have been wanting to do a video about this topic for a while. Unfortunately, causes of dry eye being misdiagnosed can happen, as dry eye can be complex (multifactorial). It would be more unique with your age to have the main cause be from conjunctivalchalsis by itself. But the next time you go to your eye doc, definitely have them look at it.
Sir please do tell me about chemical eye burns . This happened to me 2 years ago but im experiencing seriouse pain and other side effects like photopsia everyday ......i did not wash my eyes with water after the accident big mistake ...the accident actually happened on several occations
