My favorite band is a middle-aged couple from New Jersey and their buddy. They rock harder and louder than just about anyone in music with the best live show of the last 30+ years, Deerhoof notwithstanding.
WOWOWOWOW and WOW! Been a YO LA TENGO fan since "President YO LA TENGO" and about 10 Seconds into "Barnaby Hardly Working" and in 2023 YLT continues to amaze! My Life has been so much more due to YLT, not joking.
Just saw them this past Monday (2/27/23) at the Teragram Ballroom in LA. They were AMAZING. They opened with Sinatra Drive Breakdown and they played it HARD. The entire show was magnificent: tons of energy, a great crowd and venue. The guitarist and drummer from The Sadies played with them during the encore. I will never fail to catch them live again when I have the chance.
First song reminds me ‘Sugarcube’ vibe, Yo La Tengo album was the background music in my early 20s. So glad I can still enjoy their unique music. Love from 🇰🇷
@@adrianbkelly it’ll be my first time seeing them live. Got into YLT around a year before There’s a Riot Going On dropped. Almost a 40 year career and they haven’t released a single bad record. So many consistently good to great indie albums, love their music
anyone else think it's cool and funny that you can hear the actual pick-on-strings sound when ira's doing his freak-out shit? like why are the mics picking that up and why is it so loud lol
At last my dear yo la tengo come out of that boring shoegaze spiritualism of the last few years to give us the most "president" of their incomparable, brilliant and majestic repertoire 🤩😍
Age is no excuse for YLT, they just rock harder. Incredible.
I weep tears of joy that music like this is being made today
Yo Los Tengo. Yo Los Tuve. Yo Los Tendré... Para siempre. 35 años acompañándome. Gracias, tíos. / Forever. 35 years with me. Thank you, guys.
❤️
Grandma! Grandpa! Good god turn it down! I have school in the morning!!!

Yes, I hear ya, but the magnificence of it all easily overrides it all!
@@ramindadmanesh3863 totally agree
because his picking is loud!! its one of the craziest things about seeing them play if you are close enough to the stage
I am here for YLT making noises and krautrock music
Hear that pocket? That's love. Fuck yeah. Rock on everyone.
😊😊😇
Gutted they're not in Scotland on this year's tour.

Great session! But why wasnt the Aselestine performance included here?
Anyone know the tuning for fallout?

Those are some of the worst guitar solos I’ve ever heard but in a good way
