I didn’t know that! I need to see old joy. YLT also does music for some of the painleve films also on criterion. They are underwater films about ocean life from the 40’s, pretty cool if you haven’t seen it

Wow, I want to see the Criterion version of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", I had no idea THAT movie was given the full Criterion treatment! I always thought of it as a guilty pleasure! I feel strangely proud!

Kudos to whoever mentioned Son of Godzilla (is the Godzilla box set not there?) and then nabbed Carnival of Souls.
Besides being a fine film, I Wanna Hold Your Hand has the striking distinction of having quite a large number of actual Beatle tracks playing throughout the movie, I highly doubt any other scripted film has even close to that many (I'm not just talking about Beatles songs now, I mean their original recorded versions). These days even if The Beatles reps allowed it it would cost a small fortune to get it done.
