Oh My God!! Thank you so much for sharing the in depth process. These are one of my alltime favorite cars. Excellent work. Thorough and beautiful! Its hard to imagine whats hidden behind and inside. AweSome
AAAAAAAAARGH - that music - HA - I'd prefer the noise of a 930. Shame to see a 930 rotted like that, thankfully we do not see salt on our roads (salt is what I assume caused all this damage). GREAT to see you bring it back to useable condition. I have restored many 911/930 over the years - and to me - they are a simple car to work on and great build/design. Thanks. Have a nice day all. CHEERS from AUSTRALIA.
I've watched a few videos of these types of restorations, and I'm curious what the rough price tag is on work like this. It's obviously all manual, skilled labor. Is an owner looking at 10k Euros? 20k? More? Depending on how high that number goes, at some point, the value of the car isn't worth it any more, but the air-cooled 911s seem to continue to appreciate in value, so I'm sure for this car it's worth it. I was fortunate to be able to own one of these (a 1980 model) for about 5 years, but sadly that's been out of my life for 30 years or so. They are phenomenal cars. I miss it just about every day.
@@zedrengar1030 Yup, I got to drive one, on a sunny day after i detailed it. love the fact the owner trusted me to detail it and drive it. amazing technology and huge fenders and tires!
Great job you've done with this, not for the faint hearted but the market value of the 930 clearly makes it worthwhile if the maths work. Another one saved from the tin worm.
At the end of every video you should add the cost so we can see how much a restoration goes for. It would help a lot in trying to determine costs of restoring...
I want my 85 911 Carrera restored so badly. I've had it since it was new . Ordered it in December picked it up I June. No rust 35000 miles . Ruf modified. It's my Baby
I love then930,beautiful restoration but a red interior is a tad too much. I’d have gone with black with red piping on the seats, but I’m sure the owner is elated with his car. Good for another 100000 miles!
Classic example of an uneconomical repair. The car is too far gone. Yes by cutting and welding you got it back together but the original integrity of the body has been lost and now it's somewhat of a Frankenstein creation. A true survivor 930 (no rust, minimal accident history), would be worth much more than this thing. Don't get me wrong, it's still good to see it rolling on the street.
It fills my heart with joy to see another 930 saved. Great work!
How much you think this job would cost these day? Not that matters. Just curious.
I'm so glad it got restored. It looks so beautiful now. The 80's 911's are appreciating now. Thanks.

Holy crap, the car looked like it spent 30 years at the bottom of a lake! Great job though, looks fantastic.

My friend at least you had the opportunity to own one and drive it ,while some of us dream just to see the car in real life 😅.

I had an 1986 911 Targa with zero rust. Where was this car that it was so rusted? Unusual for a Porsche
to be rusted to that extent.
how much rust and how much tthank you robert do yo have the top
Dister tc5 love the work you did love porscher
How do these cars get so rusty? I thought in 1985 or 1987 galvanized metal was used??? This car must be older???
no way guys with this kind of rust you should at least sandblast the car..the car looks amazing now but in few years everything will be back...
Job well done

How long it took that whole process?
What is the cost of this service?
Boy I hope you didn’t pay too much for this one. Look at all that rust!🙀🙀🙀
so... who makes those new panels and rubber parts?
You can buy them from porsche original.
Dansk
Did the previous owners wash the car with brine?
Great resto though.
Flood damage?
Think I preferred it how it was
これ、エンジン、足回り、ミッション関係までレストアしたってことでいいの?
