    Soooooo why did you literally just answer the question I had about the same issues with my huge big box hoya princess with wrinkled leafs?
    No matter how much I watered and checked for bugs it never even crossed my mind to re pot since I like to leave my Hoyas in smaller pots. Not super into trellises but that came out so cute and I do think I'll re pot today. I'll have to grab some of those clips since I use bread ties lol. 🥴 🖤

    You should indeed be proud, it looks amazing and it has sparked my imagination. The shapes and creations we can create with these plants is just so tantalizing I want to go create something myself. I either hang mine in hanging pots or use thick, coloured floristry wire bent into a circle, heart or zigzag shape, but now I want to create something "more". Also, seeing you say sorry to the plant and calling it a she made me chuckle. I do the same, like if I knock a leaf or a plant over I'm like "I'm sorry. So sorry." And this I believe is quite common in the plantiverse. Loved the video, thank you.

    This video is the push I needed to repot my huge pubicalyx. I’m sure it’s the same situation with the crappy compacted soil and I’ve been putting it off forever lol

    That looks amazing Kat! I haven't added a Hoya to my collection yet but may be one of my next plants. Is there one you would recommend as a "starter Hoya" . Lol

  • @rob.briceno
    @rob.briceno 3 года назад +1

    Thank you. I needed the reminder that I have to do this with a handful of my hoyas. I've always wondered about those bigger stand planters.. do you water more often with less water? Yours isn't huge, but I always worry about a bunch of water accumulating at the bottom, which leads to worry about fungus gnats. Perhaps it's as easy as avoiding the stands that don't come with drainage holes, but just curious.

    • @GoodandPlanty

      i am going to have a lighter hand when watering for sure! but the nursery pot helps because i can always pull it out to get a closer look
