A very nice build. I love the use of shooting boards.

Beautiful work. Nothing like the sound of a good sharp hand plane in action.

Very nice work. It’s been fun watching you grow in skill and accuracy. Encourages me to get back out to the bench 😊

Thanks! Glad that is coming across in the videos/channel. That's the hope with the channel is to be able to follow along as my shop/skills grow.

...and I was going to ask you how to stop the lid to warp until I saw your solution. I built a watch box for my son for his watch collection but never finished because the lid I was working on warped so bad, but now I'm going to try your method.

You need to buy her some more jewelry. I'd like to see you build a much larger one. - Chris

haha thanks! This was kind of a prototype of sorts. I have an idea of wanting to build more of a jewelry wall cabinet but wanted to make a little box first. Hopefully I'll get to a larger one someday soon!

Personally I would of kept the dividers glued to each other but not glued to the top box or the drawers, but after seeing that you planned on flocking it I understand why you did. It's a real nice contrast of the light and dark wood to that jet black interior, it should really make the jewelry inside it POP. Well done, beautiful craftsmanship.

Thank you! And yes, the flocking really makes the jewelry pop and gives the added benefit of making it easy to see what's inside.

Really enjoyed this video and your channel in general! Btw, your neighbors are the yard mowing-est people I’ve ever heard! Lol

🤣Yes! My neighbor across the street has a riding lawn mower and I think he just enjoys riding it. It seems like he mows maybe twice a week.
