I think if the IBF do strip the belt in case of a rematch, we should all collectively still call the winner the undisputed, unified champion and ignore the IBF as a belt going forward when it comes to the undisputed/unified title.

Well should organisations ignore their number 1 challengers and let belt holders do what they want? If so what is the point of rankings. This would all be solved if fighters would fight at least 2-3 times per year. Fighting once every 12 months is what causes these problems or at least makes them worse.
There is history here. Between 1978 and 1985 pretty much everyone considered Larry Holmes 'THE' only true heavyweight champion of the world, even though he was only WBC and then IBF champ and we had many other title holders during that period. When he lost the IBF title to Michael Spinks in 1985, this kind of passed the gauntlet. A couple of years later, Spinks (still undefeated) was stripped by the IBF for taking an unsanctioned fight against Gerry Cooney (which he won). However many still considered him the true HW champion. Even in 1988 when he was about to fight Mike Tyson, Ring Magazine and many others still considered Spinks the true champ instead of Mike Tyson. Tyson blasting Spinks out ended that thinking.

He also hasn't fought wilder yet, a wilder who looks toothless, again possibly declining. Even if he fights both, which he hasn't,neither would be in their primes and it's not a forgone conclusion he beats either. He should beat wilder but the fury fight is always a tough one. He's also got losses to usyk obviously and 1 to Andy Ruiz Jr which he did avenge sure. His 'cv', it's called a record/resume but that's just a nitpick, is ass currently and wouldn't be much better if he beat fury and wilder. Given Hrgovic v dubois will likely be eleveated to a title match for the IBF, id say the best bet is to face whoever whins that fight and then become champion. Then once thats done and usyk and Fury have had their 2 matches, then I'd say he should go after fury, tho if thats not possible, I'd like to see him against joseph parker again. Imo they are 2 most respectable heavyweights of this era having gone and fought top opposition consistently in their careers

This era isn't too strong, but that isn't really fair given the champs and top 10 are all of low quality compared to other eras. And yet AJ has fought more top guys than most modern heavyweights, so what do u acc want from him when he's fighting who's in front of him and available? He's fighting top 10 guys now just like he did earlier in his career, not many heavyweights can say the same, including champs like fury and wilder....
