Viewers, don't be put off by the length of this video, she doesn't waste our time. She has THOROUGHLY covered each point with a bonus 11th at the end. Thank you for this; given me a lot to consider. (This is based on state of WA as she makes clear; just one note; for state of CA the look-back period is 30 months; not 5 years as in other states.) Again, listen to the whole presentation. "You do not know what you do not know"!

The crux is to have someone one can trust and who knows one and one's ways and wishes. After getting gravely, complexely abused by authority people and disbelieved, there is no one to trust. Nobody who understands my illness is there to help. With unlawful guardianship and stolen home, savings and sick-pension the challenge has been huge. When one's rights, reason and voice get disregarded, weakened through repetition over decades. They put the police on me without cause and make healthcare to make up diagnosis of psychosis. Friends don't believe it. An additional nightmare. Stree-exhausted but curable. Help. SOS.

Thank you for such valuable information! I was wondering if I am the successor & health poa and my older brother is financial poa over our mom if there is a way for me to Revoke his poa? Due to extreme neglect of his duties for the past 15 years and also because he is refusing to sign a caregiver agreement that would allow me to be paid as my moms caregiver. It is directly specified in her poa agreement that this is to be done. He has never paid any of her bills or untangled creditor issues and so many other things..I would like to see if it’s possible to revoke him and just reverse the roles. My mom lives with me now and has limited thinking capacity and also a mental illness..

Be sure to carefully read the entire POA, every page of the one you are concerned with, there may be a provision or another expression of the principles wishes or intent concerning this. I believe that if your POA does not address your issue you'll have to follow the provision in your state. Check out the Missouri laws that govern the construction of the type of POA, be specific with the title, there are differences that matter.

Hello I’m just trying to refinance my auto loan through capital one in my own name and take of my co-signer on the loan , vehicle registration and title they send me a limited power of attorney car lien registration then the 2 limited power of attorney what should I do? Because they gave me 3 different stories on how to take a person off as a co-signer , and vehicle registration and title . I looked at my title tracker on capital one . My co-signer name is on top of my name now on the title after I’ve faxed the notarized paper work I reside in Georgia. I’m so mad because I sign everything that the capital one agents people told me to sign to get his name off of there and keep my name on there the limited power of attorney paper they sent one and told me that it’s required what was asked for on the paper was state , county , registered owner and address then it got all these other people names from capital one then the second limited power of attorney paper it ask “let it all be known that such and such who resides at this address “ then it say “as his or her lawful attorney of fact to execute all documents required for only one purpose to execute and transfer or changing lien holder . They said me and the co-signer have to sign that paper work to get him of as co-signer . My name was the only one on the title on my title tracker from capital one but as soon as I faxed the papers over his name popped up on top of mines on the title for registered owners but it rejected the documents . What to do ? I reside in Georgia please help if you know about this limited power of attorney mess

Here's a big tip for everyone. If you have children, unless only one, or maybe not?! Don't have one of your kids be your POA for anything. If that's what you're going to do, make sure all your children are there, everyone's on the same page have a meeting whatever whatever. Continue to do so every month. That way things can be clarified gone over ideas plans etc that in itself could eliminate a lot of possible theft and hurt anything that contradicts your best interest it's plain and simple. If these are things that aren't going on, my opinion is that you're a fool if you think someone isn't hurt, being hurt, your best interest is at hand, and everything's rainbows and noodle salad. Save everyone the grief. Tip number two. Sell all your s*** spend all your money on you, or your family whatever l.eave the world with nothing, wherever you're going, you ain't going to need it!

Sure she could, heck, you could probably just Google it and get in your ballpark with any ten that pop up however, it's all the little nuggets of knowledge between bullet points, that's where the gold is in my world. As an extremely diligent person, sometimes to a fault, I operate on the theory that what you don't know is always more important than what you do. I am over an hour in and pretty much smack dab in the middle of the video, if I hear a word, phrase or term that I can't explain, in it's entirety to a high school graduate or above I stop and research it, sometimes it takes more time to do the research than it does to watch the tutorial! Especially with matters of law, every word carries water for you if you have the right bucket ;-) I may contact her since I am near St. Louis, and I am one week into what's becoming a complicated situation as an agent of a Durable which has the Advanced Directive provisions within, certain circumstances have led me a heightened level of concern, I have not witnessed a single action which would indicate that the caregivers have even read it, in fact I have more cause to believe I've identified several actions against specific provisions. That's why I'm here though, researching my hunches as to avoid wasting an attorney's time! Thanks for your willingness to share this knowledge with us !
