Duuuude! How could I have lived without the trilens holder? :-O I guess you just changed my life, also I have not seen this anywhere else but your channel. Cheers mate!
As somebody who is a wedding photographer and videographer, I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to see the rare professional who only thinks about their work. That having been said, most people are super gracious and once you correct them a few times they’ll get into the flow of working with somebody else. Definitely looking into that lens holster - thanks!
Thanks for this video! I'm going to my 3rd wedding shoot tomorrow and going to use your shot list aside my own. Also the switching focal lengths is a good idea I need to do better at.
I needed this so much.. my 1st wedding is tomorrow and I swear I was gonna be that guy with a gimbal all day.. Definitely gonna get a lotta handheld. Thanx!
There's a really really good video called: Gimbal VS Handheld - WHEN & WHY - Camera movement for CINEMATIC VIDEO....RUclipsr: Jacques Crafford. I can't even express how it important handheld is especially because a wedding is full of emotion. And he talks about feelings/emotion with visuals to show you comparisons.
With or without a second shooter, these are wonderful tips. I’d add a note about sound. Great audio is as equally important as the visual. Weather it is micing the groom or tapping in to the DJ’s sound board, you can also achieve that by arriving early. Keep up the great work man!
The handheld point is so good. I started last wedding season into using the final for certain shots, then dropped it for a monopod. Now I’m leaving toward shooting handheld.
Awesome tips! I've only shot a few weddings, but the beginning of this video where you were holding all the gear on your own resonates with me so much and made me laugh, knowing that's probably how I look every time I walk into a shoot! 😂
Can I ask what aperture you're shooting at ? as well as shutter speed? The shots are so crispy and well focused yet buttery smooth in the background. Thanks!
Well Bro 😂 I stumbled across this video and went to the site to purchase with your Code and this is not available for L Mount 😂. Hilarious. I guess us LUMIX Shooters aren’t interested with my 10 Lenses. Great idea though.
wait i wrote a super saracastic comment back then realized what you were saying. Appreciate this! Must have switched back because it for sure wasn't like this before. Thank you!
I’m not 100% sure on that, it’s education you are paying for, so if that’s adobes only requirement then yes, but if they require a email verification that you’re a student, then maybe not
you should watch some of my ceremony's if you think that's the case - I get more angles and shots by myself than most teams of videographers do. @@diceflawless9115
alone ...so many angles?! .... RESPECT!
I would like to see how he did this. running?
Amazing resource man! Love these tips and the Lens Holster is an absolute game changer!
Its quicker to switch weapons then reloading

Great tips and excellent presentation! Made me laugh that lens changing act. Illustrated the point perfectly.
Thanks for the shot list ! 😊
You're very welcome, Damian!

Wow thanks so much for this. I have watched so many videos, but this info was very special. Subbed!
Amazing video! Good stuff!
As a solo shooter myself i always love it to hear from others...encouraging! Even after over 5 years of doing it... :) Cheers!

Dude. This helped me so much with my first Film!!
Great tutorial! Multi-cam ceremony, toasts and dance floor are a must.
Thank you very much for the shot list. I feel like it will help me tell the story much better.
Please don't email me, just talk to me on the day, that's fine . great job man.
I shoot most everything on a tripod even when solo. Love the cinematic look it gives.
Mario Kart music for the WIN!!!!
Just excellent advice, man. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work! Shooting my 4th wedding tomorrow and leaving the gimbal home!! ;-)
Such an engaging and informational video, thanks.
This is great! I am trying to move on from gimbals in weddings, and trying to those more hard so this has been super helpful.

Thanks man! Hit me up on instagram if you need anymore help! @filmsbystanton
Thanks!
Great, thx! Highly appreciate sharing your knowledge 😊
All this is spot on!

This is on point!
Great stuff!
Love the Lut in the wedding videos Do you sell them?
yes! stantongiles.shop/
Whats up Stanton ,
If you ever need a 2nd shooter, I’m your guy.
Great video btw. Helpful tips . Thanks for sharing. 🔥
Good stuff my dude!
Dude...love this...i'm always looking for a 2nd that is reliable and decent but its so damm hard and stressful to find
Thank you for the gimbal tip. I don’t necessarily need one! 😅
As a photographer, I always ask the videographer if they need anything from this pose before I change anything.
Great tips!
Super helpful! Love this content 🎉
do you have a video of your rig? including your strap set up and monitor?
I think it’s buried somewhere on my patreon… isn’t there a handheld rig breakdown on this video? Maybe it’s on the gimble video?
I want to learn how I can do a wedding by myself hopefully you can help me out.
I need a link to the strap you use!
Will link tomorrow!
I second this! I'm guessing peak design but not entirely sure.
@@StantonGiles link?

With your C200 do you film in 1080 or 4K?
The link to the shotlist bro.. still has Lorem Ipsum writing on it. Definitely doesn't make me want to download

✌...
2:53 THEY DON'T MAKE IT FOR L MOUNT.
An even more controversial idea than handheld: for a faster focal length change, you could use a zoom...
You should never be switching lenses during a ceremony. Backpack or not. Pick a lens and make it work!
Thanks for the advice, but I completely, completely disagree! Hope your style works for you though!
@@StantonGiles you're switching lens you're missing shots. I think the ceremony is the one thing you shouldn't miss a single second of

Hey! It's the Small HD 5" Focus!
