So much work, very precise. We want a small window removed and a large door added, plus a door and window bricked up. So it’s good to see it done here. 👌🏻
Great to see the finished product Stu , been a pleasure to watch the job bit by bit , KC sure is good with that brush , glad to see your feeding him with good old chippy dinner, great job , hope you get to use those nice reclaimed ones on another job , recycling at its best , proper bricks, proper tradesmen 🤗😉😎💪
theyre not halfs phil they are just marks on the brick from when they were used for the arch over the door which i took out if that make sense, that reminds me i need to clean those marks off, cheers
Very Nice Work , Great Team Work - Oooohhhh to beee a Brickyyyyy Excellent Door , I do Understand the 5 Inch of Foam in the Roof & Laminated Wood on the Steel Beams to make a Strong Roof System . Being Older Builder I Personally Prefer Hipped Roofs - Not Flat Roofs - I would have done Two Layer's of Sky Lights with Boxed Walls Up through - Into the Hip Roof .. ( Just Me Thou ) I have a Thing about Water Control ..
Hi Stu - I don't know if you're able to read all your comments - really helpful video but I wondered what your opinion is on whether to bed a lintel on mortar or straight onto masonry? Seems like you laid it straight onto brick here, which I'd rather do. If anyone else could chime it would be very helpful
I'm having a window and a door taken out the back of my house to put a bifold door in. Good to see what work will be required. Can make sure builders know what they are doing when they quote and what they are quoting for. Can police them when they are doing the job too. Props need to stay up for at least 2days after steel box lintel goes in and bricked up above. Question. how do you measure for a door where a window has been. so there's no side bricking in etc. Sounds stupid, but wanted to ask an expert. Thanks
Amazed, was looking for exactly this video to see a small window replaced with small doors ..... thanks 😊. How much would a job like that cost supply and fit etc . Estimate
Great job as usual.. can you show more of what you do to tidy up the reveals and floor on the inside after a job like this too? would be interesting to see what you do. Regards
Would've been nice to see how you measured the cuts above the arch. You could've mentioned that the long cut on the left side needs to be spot on as it will be visible. I see you put a bit of trim on it to hide any imperfections in the original brickwork . 😁Again, a very nice job.!
Hi Stu I’m a plumber/tiler love your videos just wondering is there a certain point you put the strong boys?? I would like to remove a window and install doors but want the doors to be wider hence new lintel ect any advice would be great 👍 Thanks in advance Andrew

Looks superb great job, just one question, why the few half bricks on the arch? They didn’t seem like ones you pointed up new
theyre not halfs phil they are just marks on the brick from when they were used for the arch over the door which i took out if that make sense, that reminds me i need to clean those marks off, cheers
Cheers Stu, I looked back a few times and I couldn’t work it out!
Proper Job! (In keeping with the original style of the property). Sweeeeeet!
Great job Stu
Another great job boys.
Looks amazing mate...great job 👍
Nice one Stu & KC!! How come you don't use an SDS with chisel bit to remove brick & plaster? Would it not save time compared to hammer and bolster?
I'd use a hammer for delicate bits on the edges but agree sds bosch with a chisel bit is the way to go
what a cracking job!
Super tidy bro 😎🔥
Stonking job there Stu, you can barely tell old door was in the right hand wall?! 👍👍👍 Nice chips KC 😂😂😂

Yet again 10/10 great work lads
The best part is to do the brick job.
👍👌👊
An unusual job with the arch rebuilt with a great finish. How do you go about sizing up the lintel you used on this job Stu?
Lintel is span of the opening plus 300mm
Great you make it look really easy
I'll Buy that Old Window Sill ~ Love that Arch ~
Sweet job
Lovely work. Are you going to build a stoop? How will you keep those vents below open?
Another great job Stu
Your mix always 4 to 1? Even pointing? Even of pointing a customers eves?
not always it depends on the material you work with
I have a question. What if the inside floor slopes and also the brickwork slopes downhill?.
Another top job Stu keep the videos coming

Tastefully done... very professional.
Hi Stu and KC, do you always remove brick by hand? Could you use a SDS with chisel? Hope you are both well during these crazy times.
Cracking job stu. But who has rosewood these days. 🤪
This customer wanted rosewood so that’s what they got to match the windows🙄
