Fabulous shots assembled into a clever video. And a fabulous video interspersed with some clever shots. This makes me want to try more urban photography and moves Manchester up my visit list. Thanks so much for taking the time to produce this. Did the museum let you use a tripod? Great attitude. Wish they were more relaxed about that in Canada!
I know you've done a "what's in my bag video already but what is the bag you have on this vlog? I'm looking for a camera bag and leaning more towards this typenof shoulder bag. What other things do you have in it? . Cheers and many thanks.
Thanks for showing my home town in a different light Craig, i used to photograph it over 30 years ago. Its changed a lot. I moved over the pennies to West Yorkshire and Leeds is my nearest Large city, so i enjoyed you Holga video from there .....great stuff, keep em coming....
Only just saw this video - I've been a fan of your vlogs for a while but this one got past the keeper till now. Absolutely brilliant! You're not only a great photographer, you make a mean short movie. Loved the whole thing, especially the monotone shots of the bridges. What a gem of a place to take photos. Also loved the music - perfectly in tune with the visuals.
Great video and great tips too. This video also inspired me to re-watch The Grand Budapest Hotel and download the soundtrack. I would love you to do a video of a shoot at a historic location like Hampton Court Palace. I go there regularly with my camera but I am sure I am not getting the full potential of the location.
Daniel Newman Thanks Daniel. You'll find more varied vlogs at my e6 Subscription (though not Hampton Court!). Sounds like my London workshops could be ideal for you too!
Love your work, and presentations. But please could you give us two images for every shot. 1 straight from the camera, and 2 the final after post processing. Thanks, keep up the great work.
Amazing work, absolutely loved it! The Grand Budapest Hotel (if I am correct in my guess 😉) is one of my all time films, the symmetry of each shot of so good!
I must say, it was terrible version of Alien vs Predator 😅 Even so, it would make a great Grand Budapest Hotel inspired video! I loved the bridge at 9:17, it looks like Manchester is worth a visit for aspiring photographers. Thanks for another informative and funny video
Hi Craig. I made exactly the same trip last week having been inspired by your London POV shoot. I couldn’t find the David Bowie image though! Be very interested to see what you think. Insta-RJNeedhamphoto

Thanks Martin. Yes, you must see the film, if only to see how well I did!
If I had to guess the movie.....I would say "Blowup". 1966 movie. Love this channel.
No, no, no! It's the Grand Budapest Hotel! Watch the film and see how well I did! :-)
Fantastic! :-)
Thanks David
Excellent Craig!

Thanks Keith. No I didn't use a tripod in the museum and I don't think they would have allowed one anyway.
Wonderful shoot, really enjoy your videos, many thanks for sharing them.
Grossartig!
No idea on the film. But I really like the idea of vlogging after the manner of particular films. Great job. Very enjoyable. Also, great photos.
Thanks. Yes, I would like to do more of these, but I'm glad it appealed, despite not knowing the film!

Yep, both great cities to shoot in. Thanks Alan
Brilliant, loved it, can't get over how sharp the video is, and of course the photos, that music's stuck in my head, will have to watch again
Very nicely shot, Craig, the movie wouldn't happen to be the Grand Budapest Hotel would it??
Thanks. You may just well be correct!
+1. Excellent images and video, thank you.
This video is so good in so many ways.
I've been following your site for about a year - excellent and very inspiring! Keep em' coming
Cheers Alan
Loved this work, very well done.
cool video
You have an entire gallery full of worthy shots for just one shoot. Always enjoy your work Craig and this one is super. :)
This was quite nice, the music, the images and, for me, an unknown moue for inspiration.
Enjoyable watch with some great images! Thanks Craig. Hope you do more like this.
Really enjoyed this. I know where I'm going next with my camera

Well you got me. I must be still walking around with fisheyes !!!.

Hi!
What kind of stabilizer do you use, beside tripod? Do you use some kind of gimbal?
Love your work, and presentations. But please could you give us two images for every shot. 1 straight from the camera, and 2 the final after post processing. Thanks, keep up the great work.
You always get loads of keepers & I'm jealous as hell :) Good work.
I couldn’t help noticing that you didn’t recreate the mirror shot.
Excellent
Brilliant. The kind of stuff I shoot only you do it well :-). Must try harder.
No clue about the movie, but I'm not a film fan
Well, glad you liked it despite not knowing the reference. Shows it has worked on both levels, which i was hoping for!
* * * * * (5 stars) BTW: Interesting that letterboxes survived telephone booths!
I enjoyed this very much. Thank you.
Amazing work, absolutely loved it! The Grand Budapest Hotel (if I am correct in my guess 😉) is one of my all time films, the symmetry of each shot of so good!
Thanks Tom. And of course you are correct. Glad the video appealed to another fan of the movie
