Hoping for some guidance on this monitor. Recently purchased and got 2 laptops hooked up using the 2 thunderbolt ports. I've plugged mouse and keyboard into the two usb slots (not the service one) but the mouse doesn't seem to automatically switch between laptops. When in PIP or PBP mode the mouse will only stay on one of the screens. Any idea how to fix this?
I am having the same problem, and I'm searching everywear for an answer and I simply cant find one. I even spoke with Samsung support and was told to buy a box, and now I am even more confused.
The person I spoke to at Samsung support didn't have a clue and transferred me to the sales team to get a refund/return. The only workaround I have so far is using a multidevice mouse and keyboard and switching as I move across.
Is the HDR usable in desktop mode? Just tried the Dell S3422DWG which was ok, but my unit had pronounced blooming and poor uniformity, and the HDR was terrible with both Mac and PC (washed out colors). Never thought I’d like HDR but after experiencing it, really like the option.
Would you happen to know the measurement of the base of the stand? Trying to see if it would fit on my riser and Samsung couldn’t provide an answer. I’m debating between this monitor and the Samsung cj79.
@g2jnan427 The stand base is 12 inches wide by 9.5 inches deep. Be sure to give our computer experts a call when you're ready to order. They can help with any questions you might have and they can also tell you about any promotions we have going on that can't be advertised online.
What is the difference between this model and the CJ791 Thunderbolt? Is the image better? Is there much difference in speed between Thunderbolt 4 and 3? Thanks!!!!
I have seen the CJ791 in person but not this model. Based on my analysis, the panels are pretty much the same. The difference lies in the additional features that the new model has like VESA compatible ergonomic stand, thunderbolt 4, 90watt charging, HDR support (honestly HDR won't be noticeable that much due to less screen brightness). Thunderbolt 4 should have much higher data speeds and is better future proof. Actual speed will depend on what other devices you connect to the monitor.
I have this monitor hooked up to my ps5. Is there a remote or device I can hook up to it to change the monitor settings or volume, or is manually changing it my only option?
I'm looking at this monitor and the SAMSUNG 34" ViewFinity S50GC Series. It looks like the major difference between these two is the s65tc has the thunderbolt 4 connection and the S50GC comes with DP + HDMI only? Is that right? I really don't care about the thunderbolt connection (or at least I don't think I do) and the $150 extra it would cost me for the s65tc. Thanks for your help in advance. p.s. Sorry, I posted this on the unboxing video, too.
@sgt.pepper4274 You're correct on the Thunderbolt difference, however the S50GC also doesn't have built-in speakers and the screen is not curved like the S65TC. If you need any assistance finding a monitor that suits your needs be sure to give our experts a call at 800-860-3736. We're always happy to help!
I’m really tempted by this monitor. Does anyone know how high it is when it’s adjusted to its absolute lowest height? I’ve only got 46cm/18inches of height to play with.
Thank you very much for the informative video. However, I am very curious about one thing. For my job a run a HP Elite Book, for University I am running a Mac Book Pro M3. Is it also fine to use with Mac OS? Looking forward to your answer.
Isn't the 1000R curvature too agressive? I'm looking for a new curved monitor, but I'm already used to 1500R. I'm a little bit afraid of going for 1000R.
@cleidsonbruno2973 We didn't find it to be too aggressive, but it really depends on the person using it. If you live in the Chicagoland area be sure to stop by Abt and check it out in person. We have it on display along with several other monitors.
I was reading some reviews for this monitor and people said it was beige instead of white. Would you be kind enough to let me know whether it is any different from other Samsung white monitors/TVs? Like... for example the M7 TV monitor? Thank you.
@neumylee Ours had a white finish. It didn't look to have any beige tones, but it's possible the colors vary based on the market. We're located in the United States.
@TszWUNIVANWong-dk1xu Yes, that desk size is large enough to accommodate this monitor, but you have to consider whether you want extra space around it for anything. The monitor itself is about 81cm from side to side which leaves you with about 30cm of extra space to the sides.
@RedNocturne Yes, we thought they were adequate for built in speakers. Definitely not as good as a separate pair, but good enough for what they're meant for, and it saves space on your desktop.
@Simsimu_21 It depends on what you're looking for. If it's strictly for gaming, there are better gaming monitors out there, but if you're using it for a variety of projects then it's a fantastic choice. Give us a call at 800-860-3736 and one of our computer experts can help you figure out exactly which model will work best for your needs.
I love the monitor design especially the off white finish. But i am worried about the VA panel type. I would be using the monitor mostly for software work & light gaming. Would this be a good option instead of an IPS panel?
@ameet6384 For everyday use like you're describing you likely won't be able to tell much of a difference between a VA and an IPS panel. If you are editing photos or videos, or playing a lot of fast paced games, you'd benefit more from an IPS panel. For light gaming and software work though, VA is going to work perfectly fine for you. If you need any assistance finding the right monitor be sure to give our computer experts a call at 800-860-3736. We're always happy to help!
Thank you for sharing this. Can you please advice on what those 3 USB ports at the back of the monitor does? I tried connecting my printer and it doesn't work.
Is the screen "Glossy" and reflective?? I want something matte and less reflective.

I am not able to shift it sideways. Can you help me understand how can I shift it R or L , though I am able to slide it vertically
Great video thanks for sharing, could I run a MacBook and a PC laptop simultaneously with this monitor? 🖥

@BrotherMatus This model is 17.25" tall when in the lowest position.

I want to ask if my desk is only 110cmx 60cm, will S65TC be too big?
@TszWUNIVANWong-dk1xu Yes, that desk size is large enough to accommodate this monitor, but you have to consider whether you want extra space around it for anything. The monitor itself is about 81cm from side to side which leaves you with about 30cm of extra space to the sides.
Oh, thanks. How about visual experience, will it be too cramp or bad for eyes for the distance given the desk is only 60 cm in depth
Is the monitor sharp enough to be viewing documents and excel spreadsheets?
@JMC99596 Yes, this is a great all around monitor.
How are the built in speakers? Are they decent?
@RedNocturne Yes, we thought they were adequate for built in speakers. Definitely not as good as a separate pair, but good enough for what they're meant for, and it saves space on your desktop.
Question. Is it a VA or IPS display?
@PLANETWATERMELON This model uses a VA type panel.
@@abtelectronics Thank you. too bad for me. Really like the design in white.
Is it worth the price? Considering it's only 5ms response time and 100hz refresh rate?

or what year did Samsung launch it?
