    It's a great idea. It would definitely reduce bullying and it would cause kids to think twice about getting into a fight since everyone trains.

    How could you disagree I know nobody wants their kid to fight but if your kid doesn't know how to fight and he gets into one he can definitely get hurt at least if he has an idea of how to defend himself he'll be in a better position to at least keep himself safe and it will definitely increase his confidence that will make it less likely kids will even try to start a fight

      As they say, prevention is better than cure. Kids don’t know how to defend themselves how far less likely to even be tried in the first place. Bullies always go after the weakest link. #survivaofthefittest💯💯👊🏼

    In schools in Poland, were being taught basics of boxing, and wrestling + places where to strike to effectively end a fight. However its still not enough to properly defend yourself from an experienced attacker.

    Absolutely agree!
    IMHO Kids should learn how to fight way before you teach them how to fight let me explain:
    - you should be equipping your kids with a moral compass very early
    - what follows is a appreciation to stand up against oppressors or usurpers of their rights
    - an unwavering sense of autonomy and protection over one’s rights and property prevails
    - I say play wrestle way before striking, and even then it’s always gotta be playful…(I started developing my sons wrestling at 6Mos… only started mitts/footwork games at about 5 yo) and if he gets bored he’s OUT and onto his Nintendo switch or whatever 😅 🎮
    - some kids are naturally less aggressive or more cerebral, don’t push softer kids to be something they are not. Give them the tools and they will use their intellect or other nonphysical strengths to identify threats, be defensively responsible and strike effectively and efficiently
    Great topic Coach look forward to hearing your detailed take 🙌🏾👊🏽

    All of your ideas are great Coach V. You are a great Man and a great Mentor.... but I think schools would fight against that idea. It goes against their agenda. But i think that it would really more kids than people realize. I would support it at a School Board Meeting.

    Yes. Resounding yes. Even if you don't want to fight you should be taught how to not get your ass beat.
    But it will never happen, having self sufficient kids becoming self sufficient adults would result on people who don't need things from anyone. That goes against what they want.

      It’s crazy how not only do they not teach things they should be, but they literally try to mold children to basically conform to mediocrity and submissive behavior. I’m not saying you need a bunch of cocky violet know it alls as kids lol but at least give them tools to see how far they can go and then put them back on track when they veer astray

      @@franklevantini3239 you're right mathematics is not used much more by the average person... but it should be - especially in finance. Education in finance is one of the key things that is going to allow someone to 'raise themselves up by their bootstraps.' Whether that's understanding the power of interest rates working for or against you or creating and following a budget, these sorts of skills are inherited by the well-to-do and not often taught to the impoverished or even just the average lower class citizen. If you don't understand the ins and outs of personal finance, it's going to be that much harder with no mathematics education. Not to mention some of the more advanced financial instruments investors have increasing access to like derivatives. Unfortunately the public school system in many areas drops the balls on this.

      On a surface level, it seems good. But if you extrapolate it out and weigh potential good vs inevitable negatives, its a stupid idea. Kids don't know nothing, I just turned 20 and I barely know anything. But I know all kids are highly impressionable. My 8 year old niece can't even multiply 2 x 2 but they learn about lgbt and she was saying she wants to be trans. School should be bare minimum classes to accommodate the average and everything else extracurricular. I can't imagine mandatory school courses on fighting or shooting and the end result not being more beat up kids and dead bodies.

  • @RitikBenipal
    @RitikBenipal Год назад +1

    They definitely should, but knowing their stubborn system, I don't see it lasting very long. They would definitely say some bullshit about this increasing bullying and violence in schools, even though there is already enough of that to begin with. Also, most parents would be too gullible and overprotective to let their children participate, so even if some schools were to implement this, they would all likely band to together to get rid of it anyway.

    • @coachv3436
      @coachv3436  Год назад

      In general, I’m sure that would be the case in a lot of places, but of course there will always be certain people that could see the benefit. Either way whether you do it independently or in school. It’s an advantage having the ability at your disposal and that is irrefutable!

    I think it's a win-win because the kids that want to fight will get the chance to get it off their chest and the ones that don't know how to fight will get the confidence from learning how to defend themselves why not do it!!

    Hello coach , hope you are having a good day , a lot of kids nowadays get an enormous amount of physical bully , getting them physically fit and aware of slef-defense basics is a must but schools are busy making your sons wear dresses and daughters share bathrooms with boys and utterly useless skills in actual real life, so my take would be counting on myself as a parent to help my kids learn self defense rather than waiting for a school to do that for me.

    In communist countries its mandatory for kids to participate in combat sports. They are scouted like animals at a fair, in places like Cuba, Russia, China, etc. The genetically gifted are forced into sport whether they like it or not. In the US, our constitutional rights would prohibit forcing anyone in such activities. Not only for the physical liabilities and potential litigation, but also due to freedom of religion. For example in Islam, it is haram to physically harm another child of God. Therefore forcing a muslim to do mandatory boxing, wrestling, judo. And he believes its haram, would cause riots and political discourse. That's just what comes to my mind why combat sport cannot be forced in US.
