    Wear notes:
The impact of the green primer was more apparent in natural light (in a good way!) so I’ll definitely use it more.
Overall the foundation held up well - up close things started to look dry and a bit patchy in the usual spots like the center of my forehead, but you’d really have to be looking for it to notice. Pretty good, especially for the price!
If you have dry or mature skin I’d recommend this over the Elf satin foundation. I think the finish and wear are better overall, and the True Match foundation is more buildable without looking cakey.

Hi Audrey I'm a new subscriber, I enjoy getting makeup tips from RUclips I'm 64 been weari ng makeup almost daily since I was 12... I love makeup! I love that I can't geek out on it constantly because of RUclips and TikTok. I have/had rosacea in my late 30's to early 50's I have great skin now based on what I have learned in my own. I'm no longer sensitive and I do not have as much redness. As far as foundation that's my jam . I can use cool, neutral and olive undertone. I find the olive takes down the red and ruddyness. Of times if I get matched in store they want to give me peach and too light. I think you should try going darker it's the best thing we can do for older skin. I think you may want to try some fair olives. About face makes a nice one as does Estee lauder fair and light olives are hard to find but look amazing.
Good luck with your channel. I'm enjoying it.
Also I have dry skin but still love powder, I just make sure I use a more Dewey setting spray
I use the L'Oréal in 3.5 and I'm really no much darker than you.

What is your favorite foundation from the drugstore. I have dry skin too.

I haven’t tried enough drugstore foundations to have a definite favorite, but I think the True Match is a solid option. If you can afford to spend a little more I also like The Performer foundation from About Face. It’s available at Ulta.
