I went to Ulta yesterday and picked up the Loreal True Match Foundation because it was in one of your videos. I tried it today with NYX Marshmallow primer and 12 hours later the foundation still looks good. I think it's a keeper.

I recently purchased your makeup brushes, the 101 brush and the concealer one. I live in Montreal so it took a while to receive them and with the money exchange it’s a bit on the pricey side BUT they are worth every penny! I love that specific combination altogether that the lightest color Shimmer will always work anytime you need a light-colored inside corner Shimmer it's perfect with every palette I've ever tried that is always my inside Shimmer color! I'm wearing the True Match and applying with a brush on light days when I am just in the office, but I also use it in combination with the Lancome Dual Finish powder and it seems to be perfect for me. On days I want to look my best, I still love the Chanel Velvet. I must have missed a video from you because it used to be your favorite, but I bet when they reformulated it, something didn't work well for you. I just purchased the new L’Oreal True Match. I got the color I’ve used for a year and it was much dark than the previous version. I can still wear it, somehow it just blends into my skin tone like magic lol 😅 I do think it’s very skin like and it does wear very well even without primer. Overall I concur with your review 💜💜💜

The mascara looks fab too, what a find - I shall see if I can get it over here. Have you tried Revelon Photo Ready Primer? I have been using the L’Oréal Age Rewind Manuka Honey thicker cream and it’s has made a significant difference, I have noticed a firmer less lines . The cream is very thick dense and it has made a big difference.
Angie, your natural under eye area is so bright and flawless! It doesn't need any concealer. I am so jealous!! Drug store items are getting better but yeah, that mascara is disappointing! Thanks for trying some new items.

@@AngieHotandFlashy I'm a L'Oreal gal. I have used their foundations for years. The new formula has a few more shades, which changed things a little. I witched to N4 and it works well.
You look amazing today and your positive energy is radiating through the screen. My neck is really sensitive to everything and just LOOKING at your neck in this state made mine blotchy. LOL. Just kidding *sort of*. Those ELF quad palettes are amazing. My favorite ELF quad is Truffle but I also really like the Jalapeño - which surprised me! The gold in that palette is just as impressive as the Huda Beauty Empowered gold and I’m not exaggerating. LOL. The Pixie is what caused that to crease for sure. Angie, I have a mutt who I always though was half German Shepherd Dog/ half Labrador Retriever but it turns out that he IS half German Shepherd Dog but the other half is American Staffordshire Terrier. I was surprised that there is no Lab in him a because he fetches and swims like he was born to do them. Also, he snores like a freight train LOL. My vet says they’re a bit nonsense, but kind of fun anyway. That ELF lipstick is a dupe for the NARS and is a bit on the matte side, but I really like it anyway. The magnetic top is worth a couple of extra bucks.

Just went to seek out a true match shade and already chose N2 or N3 and now I see you use N3 and it’s perfect. I have tried too many cool or warm and they always look orange on me. Best of luck to you love your videos.

Yes, LOVE the blush and picking up the bronzer! My oily skin is finally moving towards normal at 59 (geesh) and the ELF blush is easy to apply with my fingers, dries down and doesn’t nice - and doesn’t fade or get shiny late in the day. Amazing, esp for the price! ❤

Thanks for trying out the reformulated True Match. I liked this foundation when I tried it sometime ago. But since I am cool toned, it was a bit yellow on me. With so many new shades, I may try it again. I usually end up with higher end foundations because undertone choices are generally better, but dang, the price of those is just getting out of hand. I have that elf palette and it works great for me. Great for travel as well. Too bad about that mascara because it was looking like a "Boss" for a while there. Oh, and I have a Golden Retriever that snores like the big boy he is! So love our fur babies.
I am cool toned as well and love EL Futurist Hydra Rescue. I went on Ulta's site and did the "find my shade" for the True Match. It's the one I thought it might be, I'm picking it up later at WalMart. I am excited 😁 I hope you find one that works for you!
@@NotImpressed22 Thanks for the recommendation and happy to report that EL foundation is in my makeup drawer. It's a bit too dewy for me in the summer because I am oily and live in a very humid climate, but it does match my undertone very well. I often use it to mix in with others when not quite a cool enough match. EL does a great job with our cool undertone in a number of good foundations. So fortunate to have some good options. Dior and Lancome have good cool undertones as well that has worked well for me. So many foundations at more affordable pricing are just so yellow and just oxidize even worse. I have even used a few concealers in cooler undertones that I have bought in my face shade and used as base that have worked well also. Especially those with a pinkier undertone used for a little brightening.
I was wondering the same thing about the loreal foundation. I missed what shade Angie chose. I choose higher end foundation for the same reason. I have had awesome luck with Chanel BR32 is a perfect match for my light medium cool coloring.
@Lezley Ann You're welcome. I usually stick with my tinted sunscreen in the summertime. I feel like everything just slides off my face with one little sweat bead. The joys of getting older, I guess 🙄 I'm going to try more drugstore brands this time around. I'll probably feel better if they fail miserably, lol

Gdtrs like minimalist dtrs (36 and 55) like coverage with moisturizing properties. Trying to give each custom kits with everything they will need to do a 10 min face. I depend on your videos so much! Mama of two sweet adorable Rotties here I did a M8 treatment a few weeks ago. Full face and neck. Painful will definitely do more than the topical for my next treatment.
Hi Angie this is my experience with every Essence mascara (including the waterproof version) - looks great initially and then smudges everywhere after a while. In fairness my eyes can be watery (due to both rosacea and seasonal allergies), but other non waterproof mascaras aren't as much of a mess as the essence ones I've tried (the much hyped lash princess is a prime example and the waterproof is just as much of a smudgy mess on me as the original). The new Elf lipsticks have been getting really good reviews, so I am curious about them. I use two primers - one in the centre of the face to smooth pores/texture and a hydrating/glowy primer on the perimeter for my very dry skin (targeted usage makes my foundation look better). Although you buy two products they each last longer as used half and half. Best wishes.

lmao! i was waiting for the racoon eyes!! Thats the biggest problem i have with mascaras. I HAVE to wear waterproof at all times and one I've found that actually works is the Maybelline lash sensational sky-high lengthening mascara waterproof black! It does not smudge or get flaky. It is amazing! lol you had me cracking up!

I used to use Color Match foundation years ago. It transferred color to everything I touched all day long, my purse, steering wheel, shifter, books… i switched to Infallible and it gives me good coverage and looks good at the end of the day. My vet says they’re a bit nonsense, but kind of fun anyway. That ELF lipstick is a dupe for the NARS and is a bit on the matte side, but I really like it anyway. The magnetic top is worth a couple of extra bucks.

Just went to seek out a true match shade and already chose N2 or N3 and now I see you use N3 and it’s perfect. I have tried too many cool or warm and they always look orange on me. Best of luck to you love your videos.
Angie, I apply my eyeshadow the way you demonstrate. I have hooded eyes. Why do some say not to use a light shade on the lid. I just love the way you do your makeup.

I absolutely LOVE the Elf putty bronzer and the luminous putty blush - it looks like a better version of the Nars Orgasm blush!
Yes, LOVE the blush and picking up the bronzer! My oily skin is finally moving towards normal at 59 (geesh) and the ELF blush is easy to apply with my fingers, dries down and doesn’t nice - and doesn’t fade or get shiny late in the day. Amazing, esp for the price! ❤

Thanks for trying out the reformulated True Match. I liked this foundation when I tried it sometime ago. But since I am cool toned, it was a bit yellow on me. With so many new shades, I may try it again. I usually end up with higher end foundations because undertone choices are generally better, but dang, the price of those is just getting out of hand. I have that elf palette and it works great for me. Great for travel as well. Too bad about that mascara because it was looking like a "Boss" for a while there. Oh, and I have a Golden Retriever that snores like the big boy he is! So love our fur babies.
I am cool toned as well and love EL Futurist Hydra Rescue.
I went on Ulta's site and did the "find my shade" for the True Match. It's the one I thought it might be, I'm picking it up later at WalMart. I am excited 😁 I hope you find one that works for you!
@@NotImpressed22 Thanks for the recommendation and happy to report that EL foundation is in my makeup drawer. It's a bit too dewy for me in the summer because I am oily and live in a very humid climate, but it does match my undertone very well. I often use it to mix in with others when not quite a cool enough match. EL does a great job with our cool undertone in a number of good foundations. So fortunate to have some good options. Dior and Lancome have good cool undertones as well that has worked well for me. So many foundations at more affordable pricing are just so yellow and just oxidize even worse. I have even used a few concealers in cooler undertones that I have bought in my face shade and used as base that have worked well also. Especially those with a pinkier undertone used for a little brightening.
I was wondering the same thing about the loreal foundation. I missed what shade Angie chose. I choose higher end foundation for the same reason. I have had awesome luck with Chanel BR32 is a perfect match for my light medium cool coloring.

Gdtrs like minimalist dtrs (36 and 55) like coverage with moisturizing properties. Trying to give each custom kits with everything they will need to do a 10 min face. I depend on your videos so much! Hi Angie this is my experience with every Essence mascara (including the waterproof version) - looks great initially and then smudges everywhere after a while. In fairness my eyes can be watery (due to both rosacea and seasonal allergies), but other non waterproof mascaras aren't as much of a mess as the essence ones I've tried (the much hyped lash princess is a prime example and the waterproof is just as much of a smudgy mess on me as the original).
The new Elf lipsticks have been getting really good reviews, so I am curious about them. I use two primers - one in the centre of the face to smooth pores/texture and a hydrating/glowy primer on the perimeter for my very dry skin (targeted usage makes my foundation look better). Although you buy two products they each last longer as used half and half. Best wishes.

lmao! i was waiting for the racoon eyes!! Thats the biggest problem i have with mascaras. I HAVE to wear waterproof at all times and one I've found that actually works is the Maybelline lash sensational sky-high lengthening mascara waterproof black! It does not smudge or get flaky. It is amazing! lol you had me cracking up!

I used to use Color Match foundation years ago. It transferred color to everything I touched all day long, my purse, steering wheel, shifter, books… i switched to Infallible and it gives me good coverage and looks good at the end of the day.
