I tried the Revlon lippie again and it ran into lip lines again so no go on that. I love your videos! I have tried the Sky High mascara and I found it hard to remove so I went back to the Thrive mascara. What remover did you use? I would love to try the cheaper option again.

I love the Sky High. It stays on my lower lashes better than Thrive. I’ve heard people say it is hard to remove. I haven’t had that issue. I think the waterproof version may be hard to remove.
I love how you don't take yourself seriously. You obviously are an "influencer" and that could tempt one to always look their best. You make yourself a guinea pig for us and good, bad, or indifferent, you give us your opinion. Maybe for a future video would love a primer round up. I know different ones work for different foundations. I’m always trying to figure out how to match which primer (silicone base, moisture base or pore filing) with which type of foundation (powder, liquid, creamy). Maybelline sky high mascara is my HG. The best part it melts away in the shower, no tugging and pulling of the delicate eye area using 3 different cleanser. I wear heavy makeup almost every day and thank you Maybelline for making my like easy
@@Deci_Bella I thought the same but I bought It and it removes like a tubing mascara (easy). My guess is that they are taking a wash cloth right to their eye and tugging without letting warm water do it’s thing
I love the Maybelline Sky High mascara. It is not clumpy, really lengthens my lashes and keeps them standing up - and it is so easy to wash off. I have never been disappointed with a Flower product.
Well this $11 dollar foundation just bumped up to $29 thanks to these reviews.... Lol. Either way we can't win. It's now officially among the higher/mid range end of products. Have you ever considered doing a full face of all bare Minerals? They have added some really beautiful products to their line. Especially their liquid and powder highlighters. It would be so refreshing to see them get some attention again. It seems that You tube is filled with nothing but Charlotte Tilbury, and Fenty, Chantecalle. You definitely mix it up and give a nice verity of products. It would truly be so nice to see a full face of all bare Minerals. Just a thought...

Yes, some things have changed since Leslie Blodgett sold the company, but they truly have some the best foundations ever, and lipsticks, high-lighter's both in liquid and powder. I prefer the powder over the liquid. I my all time All Over Face color TRUE is gone. Thank goodness I have a couple of them. I totally agree I don't think bare Minerals gets the attention it deserves. Their new mascaras are great! I really miss the good old days watching Leslie Blodgett explain each product in detail and how to use it. It would be really fun to see someone on You Tube give it the attention and love it deserves. I remember when it was bare Minerals Bare Escentuals

Jen Phelps said that Covergirl Simply Ageless Instant-Wrinkle Blurring Powder works well for dry skin and it really looked amazing on her. Maybe that’s an options for us dry-skinned gals 🤞
I'm replying from my other account, but it's same Nelly. I use both. I use the sponge applicator it comes with for full coverage. I use a stiff brush (eg ELF blending brush) for medium coverage. I also used it with the Tati Beauty blendiful sponge for similar full coverage. It's truly the first powder that I've ever loved wearing.
@@nellyan7675 Do you use a dry sponge or damp sponge? I had bought the Ivory Buff, which I think is a bit light for me, so today I bought the Sand color. Hopefully that's not too dark; they were sold out of the shades in between those two. I tried the Ivory Buff this morning with the Loreal Magic Perfecting Base primer (which does great with the Loreal True Match liquid foundation), but it worked terrible with this powder foundation. Do you use a primer? Thanks in advance!

I use a dry sponge only (I actually prefer and use the sponge that it came with which never happens), and found that the shades are very bad (I bought what should be my truer shade (130 TRUE BEIGE), but it was way too light, so I use 140 GOLDEN BEIGE (too dark/warm in the winter but fine for summer). PS, if you ever buy powder foundation, I would either get your exact match or darker (NEVER go lighter, as it can emphasize your peach fuzz and make you look like a ghost). I would not recommend any L'Oreal primer, ironically. I have had good success using the Revlon Prime Plus Perfecting and Smoothing primer with this foundation - you want a smooth base because instead of stippling on like some liquid foundations, I tend to glide or buff the product on, which requires a very smooth surface. So yes, I absolutely need a primer with this, but nothing too tacky (like the ELF Mint Melt or the MILK GRIPPING), and nothing that is simply moisturizing (Like the bobby brown face base); something smoothing.

Interesting that the primer " grew... expanded" on your hand... must have done that on your face as well... it did give a nice canvas for foundation... I may need to try that! Thanks Angie! Great video!
Tip: Sephora 12 hour eye pencil - the entire pencil is full of product that will last a lifetime - if you are unable to twist out more product - remove the opposite cap, crack open the end, poke something down (eg. end of tiny brush). Go gently and slowly because you only need to push out a little. Also, Angie you may like Essence High Beauty under eye brightening concealer and L’Oreal True Match powder N3 for foundation.
If you haven't tried it already, pick up the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder Illumination .. that is a good foundation powder.

Hi! I have the same issue with creamy lipsticks but I don't apply it up to the corners and with my fingers or a q-tip just drag or blend it from the middle to the outer corners and it takes off the excess. It works most of the time
Angie, I know this isn't a drugstore foundation, but have you tried the It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination? It's a fabulous powder foundation, that even works on my dry skin. There's no glitter or sparkles. For a quick look, I apply the Elta MD tinted sunscreen, under eye concealer, and any spots on my face. Add powder, blush, and done. Your makeup looks incredible. I love Rimmel powder to reduce shine. Maybelline superstay matte lip ink lasts for a really long time. I used it for teaching with a mask on and had great color after eating all the way into the night. It can be a little drying, so I added an spf lip balm.
I absolutely love your channel. I have been watching since my late twenties and now I'm in my mid thirties and my skin is so drastically different from when I learned how to do makeup in my teens and early twenties that I use so many of your tips on myself and have passed them on to my mom because they look great on me in my mid 30s and they look great on her and her mid 50s!

I am 53 yrs old and I finally found my holy grail foundation 2 yrs ago!! Certainly took long enough! I'm not sure if the US has this, but in Canada, I buy Nude By Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation. It is incredible and doesn't make skin look or feel dry, plus has descent coverage. They have small trial sizes, so if you can find it, I strongly suggest you give it a try!

The BEST one I have ever tried is a bit pricy, it's the Benefit They're Real Magnetic mascara, and the one I got in my Ipsy bag last month is also amazing, Milk Kush mascara, also a bit pricy. So seeing a Maybelline mascara give that much OOMPH is very impressive! Sky High is ON my list! Thanks!

Have you tried the W3ll People powder foundation? It's not super high coverage, but I love putting it on when I'm in a hurry! Not a great shade range, but the shades are definitely adaptable. Surprisingly, Target carries the brand, as well as other places, but it was a pleasant discovery when I saw it there!
Dry skin gal here. I use that foundation and really like it, but I do use it over a fairly greasy mineral sunscreen (I pounce it on with a brush so I don’t move the sunscreen). As Angie said, that combo is great for us dry gals 😊

I agree with you on the lip liner-I’m not a fan. I enjoy something creamier. Rimmel, L’Oréal, Lancôme or Urban Decay 24/7 liners are far better for me.

Hi Angie. Another fabulous video. I use the Loreal Infallible pro-matte powder foundation and love it, especially over the tinted Elta MD sunscreen. It's easy to touch up with the on-again, off-again mask-wearing. Question: what are you wearing over the tank top at 8 hours? It looks like a kimono - very pretty.
This foundation is super flattering on you. I loved the way your blush looked when it was EXTRA bold LOL but totally get why you wanted to tone it down. I'll try the primer (I never use one), foundation, mascara (in waterproof) and lip gloss. Thank you Angie! I hope it looks half as good on me.

Maybelline Dream Wonder powder is a powder foundation. The only place I can find it anymore is online. No longer in stores. That was my favorite. I have oily-ish skin, tzone. I'm 60. Will try the L'Oreal infallible....hopefully.
Okay that foundation looks gorgeous on you! It just looks like a dry cakey mess on me. I have combination skin so I thought it would be alright on me but I can't make it work.
With those beautiful eyes and teeth/smile you can't go wrong no matter what makeup you choose (which you wear very well!). The eyes and the smile are everything (IMO).
Since you asked for our favorite powder foundation, mine is Laura Geller Baked Balance n Glow Illuminating Foundation. The title makes it sound very shiny but it isn’t. I wear the shade Fair.

A tip I heard is that lipstick is less ageing if it's not applied all the way to the outer edges. I think it helps lips look fuller

The bare minerals original mineral powder foundation has been my go to for years. I think Bare Minerals is very much underrated as a brand!

Tip: Sephora 12 hour eye pencil - the entire pencil is full of product that will last a lifetime - if you are unable to twist out more product - remove the opposite cap, crack open the end, poke something down (eg. end of tiny brush). Go gently and slowly because you only need to push out a little. Also, Angie you may like Essence High Beauty under eye brightening concealer and L’Oreal True Match powder N3 for foundation.
If you haven't tried it already, pick up the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder Illumination .. that is a good foundation powder.

Hi! I have the same issue with creamy lipsticks but I don't apply it up to the corners and with my fingers or a q-tip just drag or blend it from the middle to the outer corners and it takes off the excess. It works most of the time
Angie, I know this isn't a drugstore foundation, but have you tried the It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination? It's a fabulous powder foundation, that even works on my dry skin. There's no glitter or sparkles. For a quick look, I apply the Elta MD tinted sunscreen, under eye concealer, and any spots on my face. Add powder, blush, and done.

I love Rimmel powder to reduce shine. Maybelline superstay matte lip ink lasts for a really long time. I used it for teaching with a mask on and had great color after eating all the way into the night. It can be a little drying, so I added an spf lip balm.

I am 53 yrs old and I finally found my holy grail foundation 2 yrs ago!! Certainly took long enough! I'm not sure if the US has this, but in Canada, I buy Nude By Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation. It is incredible and doesn't make skin look or feel dry, plus has descent coverage. They have small trial sizes, so if you can find it, I strongly suggest you give it a try!

I might have to try that powder foundation! And I WILL be trying the mascara! I don't like trying to wear falsies every day so I really love a GOOD lengthening mascara. The BEST one I have ever tried is a bit pricy, it's the Benefit They're Real Magnetic mascara, and the one I got in my Ipsy bag last month is also amazing, Milk Kush mascara, also a bit pricy. So seeing a Maybelline mascara give that much OOMPH is very impressive! Sky High is ON my list! Thanks!
Angie, try Pur Minerals 4 in 1 Foundation powder. Great for us mature gals! Love their bronzer and mascara too.

Have you tried the W3ll People powder foundation? It's not super high coverage, but I love putting it on when I'm in a hurry! Not a great shade range, but the shades are definitely adaptable. Surprisingly, Target carries the brand, as well as other places, but it was a pleasant discovery when I saw it there!
Dry skin gal here. I use that foundation and really like it, but I do use it over a fairly greasy mineral sunscreen (I pounce it on with a brush so I don’t move the sunscreen). As Angie said, that combo is great for us dry gals 😊

Hi Angie. Another fabulous video. I use the Loreal Infallible pro-matte powder foundation and love it, especially over the tinted Elta MD sunscreen. It's easy to touch up with the on-again, off-again mask-wearing. Question: what are you wearing over the tank top at 8 hours? It looks like a kimono - very pretty.

Maybelline Dream Wonder powder is a powder foundation. The only place I can find it anymore is online. No longer in stores. That was my favorite. I have oily-ish skin, tzone. I'm 60. Will try the L'Oreal infallible....hopefully.

With those beautiful eyes and teeth/smile you can't go wrong no matter what makeup you choose (which you wear very well!). The eyes and the smile are everything (IMO).
Since you asked for our favorite powder foundation, mine is Laura Geller Baked Balance n Glow Illuminating Foundation. The title makes it sound very shiny but it isn’t. I wear the shade Fair.
