So awesome to see a shoutout for the GOAT Towel. I play with Craig, the creator of the GOAT Towel all the time. Everyone should check it out because I agree with Simon, it really is the best towel for disc golf.
This video is one of your best! So many fun parts. The ace race hole is just so fun to watch! Hope you feel better next offseason so there can be more content like this
Great Vlog, glad to see what Disc Golf is really about. FRIENDSHIPS & THE LOVE OF THE SPORT! Not Brand Names! These are the most talented players out there & even when they are screwing around having fun you can still learn basic fundamental skills!
FANTASTIC video!...Simon your attitude shows by example and assures you a long future in disc golf...you are guaranteed to be offered a coverage role with JoMez or Central Coast or even course design and I'm certain you and Paul will create great courses. One thing that you did not mention in course design is the predominant prevailing winds at each location? I absolutely love your videos and I'm certain not many people know about these or I'm certain you would have 390k subs...and when more people see your videos you soon will.
Loving these vlogs man! Keep it up, been a huge fan of you and Paul for a long time now. Be a dream to play with you guys some day, even though there’s no way I could keep up lol
This was fun, I've been watching yall play and learning from you since 2014. I'm loving all this new content, all the different things you, Paul and Brodie are doin..
Great job Simon, this kind of stuff is really fun to watch and hopefully easy enough for you to make more of, looking forward to following the channel!
That ladder drill is probably one of the better ideas for training putting that I’ve seen. You can adapt to different available windows if you end up in the brush/backstop.
this was one of my favorite vids Simon! the fade in / out on the drives was spectacular and the fun game dumping the bag is cool because you guys show your love of the game just like us weekend warriors :D
Our disc golf association feels Pauls pain as far as building a course...lots of work involved...great lines with options...elevation changes...awesome tunnel shots...John Houck is our course designer for our pro level course in Abilene, TX...hoping to be complete by end of this year
Very entertaining video, thanks a lot for this! I definitely loved your ideas for the putting contest - there are such a lot of different ways to practice throwing discs 😎
This is the BEST VIDEO SO FAR! Simon is the genuine creative genius! I’d absolutely love to be involved in work party and cutting in at the Clyde. It my passion. We are pioneers 😎
Would love to have you and paul stop by here at Lake Marshall in Montross Va. Give our course a play and enjoy what we feel is shaping up to be a great championship course. Love these vlogs.
Absolutely what you should do right this second if you are still in Virginia is go to Google Maps and search Montross Virginia see how far you are away then take yourself the Facebook group of Lake Marshall disc golf check out some of the pictures it's all public the course is private and open to play... both of you pack up drive your stuff and go get a great video 3 courses on the propertywith Islands Lakes ponds etc.. it has it all. If you guys would like to play two days in a row you have a place to stay. Off season training !!as these courses are ahead of its time.
8:31 how the hell do you throw such a gnarly a hyzer flip that turns that slow? I have some understable discs that will fight out of a spike hyzer like that, but they will be completely turned over by the time they get past 300ft or so
@@Dr_Rocks That's true, though I never hear much talk about RPM in DG (in ball golf it's like the biggest deal ever). Maybe because players who throw with high RPM also throw at faster speeds anyway, so the stability cancels out? (Like, sure, the RPM would stabilize the disc, but if they mash on a sidewinder or something it's going to turn).
@@satagaming9144 yea I mean I'm no expert. I just know that when I throw versus when I watch my friends who don't really throw often I can tell their disks aren't spinning a lot and they fall over sideways, I just figured the pros are like another level up from that. I think you can tell how high the RPM is with them because the disk doesn't fall off until way late. Like I feel like any disk falls to the side once the RPM drops below a certain rate. Noobs with low RPM that happens instantly, regular people like me it goes a hundred feet before starting to fall and then the pros it goes several hundred before the rpm has dropped to the point where the disk isn't stable. They also are so good at predicting when/ how much it falls off.
@@Dr_Rocks I'd always thought that they faded when they started falling, but the nose (leading edge) kept pointing in the same direction, so they had a "nose-up" angle relative to their flight path, but the RPM thing would make more sense combined with that, cause if you throw "nose-up" right out of the hand then it'll still go straight for a little bit before dumping its fade. Pros also throw crazy overstable discs (stability refers to how left the disc will go on RHBH). Like, an "understable" disc to them would be "stable" to us mere mortals. And an "understable" disc for us would be literally unusable for them, since it would turn into a roller if they threw it flat, and not a good roller at that.
Simon, Paul is better on your vlog than his own. You bring out the best in people.
So true...Simon is clearly the most entertaining visually in the game because of his fantastic attitude and he even lifts my spirits.
Truth. Paul - best player ever. Simon - funnest player ever!

Awesome, Simon. Great to see Paul's place, his vision and the challenges involved in building a course from scratch.
Overdub at the end was awesome!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Thanks for another excellent video Simon👍🏻😀
I love that go for ace game! Will try that with my friends.
8:31 That's one insane angle...

Every disc golfer's dream, their own course. I have a couple friends that have their own, its so cool! lots of work but worth it.
Show the comraderie of the disc golf world. True competitors on the course. Good friends off. Great video Simon
These are the videos us fans need
"It's easy to tweak a course that's already been made, it's kind of a little bit harder to design from scratch."

Blue Falcon oh yeahhh, you’re the person who designed those 3 courses in Narnia, right?

If all sponsors keep allowing videos like these disc golf will grow like a healthy Groot.
So awesome to see a shoutout for the GOAT Towel. I play with Craig, the creator of the GOAT Towel all the time. Everyone should check it out because I agree with Simon, it really is the best towel for disc golf.

Could've been a tailwind, heard a lot of wind noise. Or (even though it's d-line) it's not completely beat to hell.
they throw with crazy high RPM also, which stabilizes the disk
