Simon throwing the Glitch is just proof that we can't always trust video reviews. With his form, the disc flies perfectly as intended and can actually be an asset in your bag. Aside from this, Casey never stops smiling and we need to protect him and Simon for a long time!
It's an amazing 'flying' disc. The problem is if you clip something or get a weird skip that thing rolls like a wagon wheel. You need a TON of control to get it to be a great disc golf disc, not just a great catch disc [which it is]
It truly is a non forgiving disc. I love it as a 30-40m spin putt disc. But when trying to torque it or putting any power on it it's bye bye. (Have thrown it about 80m but that's when you get a clean release and The correct amount of spin according to speed) 🤣
@Jullia kosic There was also plenty of content out there saying it was nearly unusable other than a catch disc. Turning the disc over on soft throws with little wind claiming the disc is bad. If you just slightly dissect the comment, these were the ones I was referring to. Instead you got borderline obsession with Simon. 🤣 Like the Glitch, to each their own.
Seeing Simon learn his discs while making mistakes, makes me feel better about my own performance while learning to play. Professionals still need to practice and learn just as much as us :D
