This is one of my favourite duets from the entire show. I love the song which helps, plus just watching them together, total trust, total synchronicity and the right balance of emotion, given the fact they are playing characters with very different states of mind. They would have won with this, but there was the duet with Kalani, which is another favourite, the technique they showed was stunning, but this dance just has something extra, it's a great story too. 👌

Kendall's always been able to dance like this. People just don't tend to notice since there's all the drama with her mom and they take it out on Kendall. She's a really good dancer, I think she just got better choreography in this because Maddie was there so she was actually able to show off what she can do. She should get more solos like this

Kalani's and Maddie's duet was pretty much perfect, perfect technique, timing and facial expressions, but this was something more than that, they had complete chemistry and I found this duet so special, I just love this dance and how great they performed it, Maddie truely brings out the best in Kendal.

Maddie and Kalani have amazing technique there is no doubt about that. But Maddie and Kendall have that chemistry and that level of trust that you just can't fake and I think that's what makes them so great.
I loved this duet and i think it should've won i still liked Maddie and Kalani's duet but it was all the same as their others although this is similar to Kendall and Maddies other duets as well but i felt like this is the best duet they have even done together. Kendall did good but could work on her emotions and pointing her feet better during turns, other than that she did good probably the best dance she ever performed on the show except for her Applause solo. Maddie did amazing as usual but is there a such thing as too much emotion in a dance because although i am happy that she put emotion into it i felt like it was too much (I know she's suppose to be crazy or something). I probably felt that way because Kendall wasn't giving any emotion, so Maddie's was overpowering which made it too much. Overall this was a great Duet and i would've liked to see another duet from the two of them.

They both have improved very much over the seasons but Kendall is still a pretty dancer whilst Maddie is more dynamic. With the storyline I feel as if the night gowns and the way they danced worked perfectly. It was about Kendall and Maddie being in a mental hospital and Kendall wasn’t really crazy more of a bad kid where as Maddie was the clinically insane one and Kendall is trying to protect Maddie until she can’t anymore so I feel their dancing and acting complimented them perfectly
Oops, just noticed that Maddies earring flew off at the very end, do you guys think they got deducted points for that? I love this duett, I just wish the show would have kept the original title, then the duett would make more sense to the viewers.
When you see the two dancing together, you can see huge difference. Maddie dances with emotion, which overall makes everything look mesmerising. Kendall dances relatively rigid, and she doesn't show much emotion on her face. But still, they both have their strengths and weaknesses, and I love them both a lot.

The only reason people say that Kendall is a bad dancer is because she is not as good when by herself. She is still my favorite, but there is a difference between her with people and alone.
If Kendall’s emotional execution had been the same as Maddie’s I think that the story would be a lot more understandable. She’s a good dancer but she always has this poker face and if she does show emotion it’s for a second or two. Even though personally, I thought Maddie outshined her this duet, it shows me that Kendall has good potential but she needs to work on her emotions. Abby has been telling her this since season 2 or 3.

Yesss! I agree. Kendall is just a boring person to watch dance. And it's such a shame because she's a gorgeous kid and has a great body for dancing.

I love Kendall but she used zero emotion in this. The dancing and choreo were awesome but it’s hard to like this dance because Maddie over shines Kendall throughout the entire dance.

Wow this is jaw dropping its so perfect! This is probably the best dance moms duet I've ever seen. As for Kendall I could not believe how much she's improved omg i couldn't take my eyes off her! And Maddie of course she's amazing she has incredible skill. I AM GOING TO MISS MADDIE AND MACKENZIE SO MUCH!

The only reason people say that Kendall is a bad dancer is because she is not as good when by herself. She is still my favorite, but there is a difference between her with people and alone.

If Kendall’s emotional execution had been the same as Maddie’s I think that the story would be a lot more understandable. She’s a good dancer but she always has this poker face and if she does show emotion it’s for a second or two. Even though personally, I thought Maddie outshined her this duet, it shows me that Kendall has good potential but she needs to work on her emotions. Abby has been telling her this since season 2 or 3.
