This needs an RGB backlight that constantly cycles through colors for no reason. That would be the cherry on top

lol my gameboy pocket ips display did exactly that with what i can only guess was a cold solder joint or the initial blob was picking up interference. stopped after i re-touched the sensor wire with the iron

The shell should be also backlit by a dozen colorful leds for that authentic 00's modded console look and feel.

I’m glad you used the credit card method! I haven’t seen a ton of uses of it and I’m glad it’s getting more attention since it is the safest way to do it

Something about putting all the ugliest colors and things together make it super appealing just from a unique quality standpoint.
Like Rat-Rods. I saw a guy use the steel toe section from his steel toe boots as hood scoops, and it was the best car I'd ever seen

That actually looks really pretty withthe gold glitter, silver glitter and neon buttons. Just replace the brown start/select buttons with some blue ones, and a neon yellow power switch.

Other than the brown rubber buttons it looks pretty typical for a late 80s/early 90s thing. It's totally rad, dude! Play it louder!
if you made it all gold and used the same type of plastic you used for the A and B buttons for the power button and D-pad but in different colours you could make an infinity gauntlet themed gameboy

Always use stock membranes if you can.

I kid you not, I love it. It is has gone full circle on the horrible wheel and has worked it's way back around to wonderful. Please never disassemble it.
Hey man I have a broken power switch on my switch light and was wondering if you could fix it, the only thing that's wrong with it is where it connects into the mb. I would be willing to pay. The plastic retention clip that hold down the ribbon cable broke off.
Is the green button lighting up, or is it just the way it looks on camera?

Perfect gameboy shell and buttons despite its ugly color scheme it is an optimum form and function tho the screen is strange still want one would paint mine checker though and make the screen frame black with walmarts 98 cent spray paint cans don't forget the 3dollar lauqer tho the paint scratch off easy

Hi I was wondering if you could answer a question of mine. I love watching people show there awesome mods on the old gameboys but I can never figure out what paints there using to custom paint them. Could you please tell what paints are good to use that wont chip easily?

I think "Ugly" builds should be more of a thing. I remember when IPath made a limited run of shoes from left over peices so they were all unique. Retromodding should sell "left over" grab bags with a selection random butttons and shell components for goofball builds like this.
