Good vid DJ , we used hydrflouric acid in the glass industry, its was used to frost glass (etches) it gives light bulbs that pearl look, highly dangerous, it burns on contact, a good splash of this means 24 hrs monitoring in hospital as it also clots the blood! EVIL STUFF ! 👍🏻
Wow, 😱 Thanks for that info 👍
HF is highly toxic and super corrosive, but my vote for a truly evil chemical is dimethylmercury. Look up Karen Wetterhahn, a chemist who followed all the safety precautions and got a tiny drop on her latex gloves...
Worse than that at high dosage it is fatal especially if it fumes are inhaled. Any chemical that contains fluorine need to treated with respect.
The funny thing is that HF is a weak acid due to the strong covalent bonds between hydrogen and Fluorine, which does not break down in water. The acidity is not the problem but the reactivity of Flourine.
You cannot keep it in glass container
“I’ve come up to you and demanded answers to questions of you, forcing an interaction you never asked for, but now I’m going to waffle on about rights I don’t have and insist that you do something I want you to do.” What goes through their minds?
**nazi goose marching** hail shitler, the fellow in this video.
DJ killing em with knowledge again! Good video big man x
In other words, a bit of a twat really
NOTHING! There's a void between their ears.
Lisa L - Perhaps They are uneducated on THEIR RIGHTS?
That is PART OF THE REASON AUDITORS DO WHAT THEY DO, is too Educate the Public.
Which D.J. FAILED To Do, on this occasion🤷♀️
He should have informed Him, that There is No expectations of Privacy, in Public, He has every Right too Record, anyone or anything He can see from Public,
It is a Lawful Activity!
If you really want to educate people you need to learn the difference between 'to' and 'too', pretty big difference
Where do people get theses ludicrous ideas from!!! Walks up to the camera and says stop filming me 🤣🤣🤣
This guy is perfectly happy to approach a camera and engage in conversation, but then decides he doesn't want to be filmed !!!!!
This guy is obnoxious
@@scottybottybanana oh I like that word 😏
A lot of people do not understand how this works. The guy might well have been inside his workplace, but his image wasn't. The photons that constitute his image had left his workplace a fraction of a nanosecond earlier and had entered the public domain when DJ's camera captured them. Cameras do not film into anything, they capture photons leaving places. If people do not want photons to leave their restricted area and enter the public domain where they do not belong to anyone and any member of the public is free to capture them then they should take measures to prevent those photons from leaving their restricted area.
🤣🤣 great way of thinking but it sounds like hard work explaining that at the gate. I may try one time though 🙌
Love it. Thanks!
That's not how it works AT ALL! Why do ignorant people post stuff like this?
@@terryboland3816 That's exactly how it works.
@@aaronmckay. Stop publishing your image in the public sphere then.
Half past Midnight in Australia, was going to Bed…..
Not now! Can’t miss this! Love your work DJ Audits! 👍🏼🙂
Aussie here too!
For the trucks queuing on the yellows lines - these mean no parking, but you can stop for passengers or un/loading which is what these truckers are doing. If there are kerbside perpendicular double yellow stripes then un/loading is not allowed but picking up or dropping of passengers is.
It's red lines for no stopping at all.
Everyone is filmed out in public and I would say that inside his work place area he has cameras so wtf is he worried about. Good to see the workforce don’t care about cameras and they watch you, bonus. Keep up the vids DJ.
Because those videos are not used on RUclips.
Because those videos are not being broadcast by a buisness run by a halfpint halfwit that thinks he's above the law, let alone being able to quote any of it correctly.
these are not made by youtubers. There should be a law that a youtuber or any streamer that films without permission should be executed on site while aiming his own camera towards him so can can use that as content.
@@robeiur you would be first then for stupid comments.
The orange plates on vehicles are called Hazard Warning plates. These drivers need to do a course called an ADR course, which has different classes 1-9 depending on the product a company is dealing with for packages. Though many companies will put the driver through all the classes except Radioactive Class 7, or Explosives Class 1.
Tanker drivers need an additional course to carry liquids in tankers. Where you will see tankers plated up with a EAC number (which is important to give to the fireman if there was an accident) 4 digit UN no. (Unique to the product) A Placard of the class it's carrying, along with a secondary if applicable. The ADR certificate lasts for 5yrs, and the driver must carry this with them, along with the relevant paper work for the products they have onboard.
it's the "which is important to give to the fireman if there was an accident", part, the one going in the direction of the fire and not away from it, would help to no mixing water with, is not going to end badly
and I don't be like one unit under a stated maximum, is ready going all of sudden make it safe is it, not as dangerous, not now what it what it will do, as it was the did have that last unit, carrying the right plate detail, now what it is and what can be done and not done with it ? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Excellent info.
Big money for them jobs my mate is a HGV driver only 25 he wants to do this when he is older and trusted and sits the relevant licences

I worked at the Hydrofluric Acid manufacturing plant with 85 Tonne Storage, at the BP Refinery Perth Western Australia. There was a blockage in a pipe, and when cold cutting the pipe, as soon as the pipe opened the acid ran across the top of the pipe, not drip under the pipe. The only way to dilute it, to stop the acid eating our calcium in bones, when someone get a drop on them, is with 10 injections of calcium gluconate from a special hospital.
The reason for not having a hazardous plate doesn't make any sense, hazardous material is hazardous regardless go weight or volume, and if involved in an accident or possible spillage people have the rite to know what they are dealing with
So do you need to have a hazchem plate on your vehicle when carrying camping gas? Or is that too small a quantity to worry about?
@@alane7903 Seriously! lets not be petty. I'm clearly talking about tankers that carry multiple litres of hazardous material.
I guess all those pictures of drunk celebrities stumbling out of nightclubs or people going to court must be illegal as they didn't give consent???
I’ve learnt so much random stuff from watching your vids DJ. Fascinating stuff.
I was a retailer of Hypochloride Acid in 25litre drums for 25 years, at that time we had no restrictions on it's sale, that may have changed though. Mostly it was sold to farmers for cleaning their milking stations and yards etc but the public caught on to it as being great to clean green algae and general grime from their driveways etc and many suppliers started to package their product for that use as well, usually around £10 for 25 litres.
Its also used in swimming pools
Next time someone is in court because they got caught on cctv doing something naughty they can turn round and say you can’t use that as evidence because I didn’t give my permission to be filmed 🤣🤣🤣
It can be used in evidence. But if they try to sell the footage you can insist your image deleted or blurred, or demand royalties.
Auditors have claimed for years that a monetized channel doesn't mean they are filming commercially. It's a possibility that it may catch up with them one day.
@john hodgson To some extent ...yes. I think news reports are exempt, but for commercial filming there are very strict rules.
If you can be identified on Google they have to delete when asked. My whole street has been deleted from streetview when I contacted them.
Hi DJ, three minutes in and the purple man comes to find out what you are doing, he does not have the common courtesy to tell you who he is or why he thinks you should speak to mim, he just wants you to answer his questions.
Next thing we know because you ask him sensible questions he cannot resist answering, he then tells you that you cannot fly your drone and a bit later tells you that you cannot film him without his permission, he does not understand that you are in public and that is where you are filming from.
He is clearly motivated by his own anxiety and paranoia and those feelings interfere with his judgement, that being said he toddles off without too much fuss.
The fork lift driver is obviously not so hampered.
The two containers, one with the concentrated Sulphuric acid and the Hypochlorite disinfectant for swimming pools are both extremely dangerous, they usually require special safety precautions so that in the event of a tank rupture the retaining wall confines the chemical within that, here there is no sign of any such berms around these containers, among the many avoidable risks is the danger of escaping chemicals entering the drainage system, that could be disastrous!, I do not know what regulations there are for these things in temporary storage and transit but it is these circumstances that embody the highest risk.
Further information should be available from the HSE.
Cheers, Richard.
When will people understand private property can be seen from public 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣
hi coming from Nottinghamshire
I am now thinking these 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 believe Google Earth did not take pictures of the world 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great video, always respectful and polite. nice to see you taking care not to fly "DAVID" directly over a "COMAH" site. looking forward to the next one . 👍👍
Can’t take precautions when Drone David is involved 😉
Love the way you describe to them WHY you CAN fly your drone. In most cases you triumph in these exchanges whilst not necessarily hurting their feelings. Another keyring given :Champion !
I’m a customer of Brenntag. I buy 208,2 liters of aceton a year from these guys. I think i’m still a customer after this video 😏
Blimey, you must have spend a fortune at the Lacquerista😜
He should contact google and get them to delete all their photos of his business because he didn't give consent.
How many people watch these videos and, when the drone is coming down and DJ says "We'll end the video there," but you see there's a load of minutes left, you get excited? Ooo hoo hoo! Extra content!
hey DJ,
little suggestion from a viewer that enjoys and seen a lot of you're videos.
A after market microphone with some wind muffler protection will help in a lot of situations it very hard to hear interactions and a lot of wind rustle.
A boom mic on a pole with the fluffy wind shield is needed for sure.
Yeah it can be nearly impossible to hear what the other people are saying sometimes
Instead of a boom mike which is obviously overkill there are small shotgun mikes that could be part of DJ's arsenal. It would massively improve the videos.
Yes , definitely need a better mic to pick up the interviewed persons voice, or edit the audio track to improve volume at those interactions. 👍
Instead of attempting to explain why you can. Just say "I am informing you. Not asking you."
No professional adr driver needs a member of the public to tell them what plate should be shown on their vehicle .
Do you know them all?
Aye i do@@capabilitybrown2323
You have never needed someone's permission to film them while you're in public
I work for a water company in the UK and they supply us with Chlorine, Sulphuric acid etc 👍
We’ve only got a small business but if an auditor come I’d take full advantage and plug our business as much as I could.. probably offer a cuppa aswell.. what’s wrong with people 🤷🏻♂️
Been pushing that since first watching
All well and good if you know what an auditor is. To the majority it's some bloke hanging around filming pretty much every aspect of their property, albeit legally. Their first thought is that it's more likely someone casing the joint, and it isn't helped by being deliberately vague when talking to staff/security.
Try auditing a less than legitimate business, I'm sure they wouldn't be as welcoming as Brenntag were.
@@warren6815 they're not interested in your business! They're interested in their right to film in public not being challenged! Wake up!
@@gookumpucky4842 I'm wide awake thank you, and I'm fully aware of what is legal and not legal to film. But if I was filming in a public space and someone asked me not to film them as a matter of courtesy I wouldn't film them, or I'd point the camera elsewhere whilst I was talking to them, especially if they were being as civil as Purple Shirt was. He was perfectly willing to engage in conversation with DJ, just didn't want to appear on camera.
@@warren6815 then don't walk up to a cameraman in public and say you can't film me when it's perfectly legal! Don't walk into a bank, or city hall or a police station, or post office cause guess what, YOUR BEING RECORDED!
I see there is also at least 2 others adopting this style of auditing. You have started a trend..
Red Shirt Guy: “Don’t use any video of me.”
DJ Audits: “OK”
Zero educational value
It makes me so happy when ppl know who u are ...You're a star 🌟🌟
What will you do DJ when you become TOO well known in the area? Just noticed you seem to be recognised more than ever recently and if you've thought of a plan of action for the future?
Love the videos, you're one of the few auditors I've stuck with.
I used to work at a garage and you can save alot of money by refilling your adblue containers at the pump rather than buying a fresh large container
The delete button always seems to be faulty around these people.
Be careful your approach is kind and calm but don’t get hard working people in to trouble
Seems to be a highly successful company, so much, so it's just about outgrown itself. Thumbs up to Brenntag. And a thumbs up to you DJ "Play It Safe On This One" You're a credit to the Auditing and Drone community alike.
The manager was very nice, helpful and professional until he over thought it. Its not that they are misinformed or ignorant that amazes me,its the amount of conviction into their delusions and their lack of interest to learn that baffles me.
If you broadcast images of someone without their consent you are breaking the law....DJ does this EVERY video...wheres the delusion?

Ferric Chloride, used for dissolving copper, typically for printed circuit boards.
The Brenntag lorry has clearly pushed in front of the Coates lorry , as the Coates is new to the site- Brenntag thought he would take advantage of this and get in there quick .
Well spotted 🙌
@@nokianige He may of thought that, but if the Coates was there in front then the Brenntag would have been on queue right behind. He was sneaky and should have asked Coates if he was waiting to get in. Common decentcy and etiquette , my friend.
That is so spooky. I thought you were videoing my old workplace. The office block is virtually identical to that one and it is also a Comah site 😊
Unfortunately for pink shirt he doesnt understand the law and those relating to where and what you can film , he should do his job which I hope hes better at that than being a lawyer
Their confusion is hilarious. Very entertaining.
Just a guess, but maybe the double yellows are there to stop cars and things stopping there, so the trucks have got somewhere to stop. When I was a courier, a traffic warden told me that we could stop on double yellows for up to 10 mins. Maybe that is the reason for them. Happy to be corrected, as I would like to know myself.
I believe you are allowed to load and unload on standard double yellows but there is no time limit defined, a TW I spoke with years back told me it was at their Discression.
I know if you have a single yellow line on the curb then that's about time limits etc and if a double line absolutely no-one can park.
@@Doughnut_Alex Disabled badge holders can park on double yellows for up to 3 hours unless another restriction is in place. But yes, load and unload and passenger stuff is fine and there is no legal time limit for either. Logically that means if someone is in charge of the vehicle at all times then it's allowed to stop for however long is necessary.
Men raised by feminists look like and behave like that chap.
So here’s a thought, Orange juice, milk do not require hazchem markers, yet both are highly toxic, if they get into the water course, drains.
Anything can be toxic in the right proportions or circumstances!😁🤣✌
People think by say ‘you can’t film me without my consent’ that people won’t use the footage!
I used to work at the Coates HQ near Middlewich, its an interesting place as its all old aircraft hangars where they used to build bombers in ww2.
6:30 Even when he is on private property, and the person with the camera is on the same private property, he has no rights to demand that the filming be stopped. He can request it, but the person with the camera is in charge of the camera and decides when to stop and start it. It is not his camera to control. Demanding it or quoting non-existent laws and rights tends to get a negative response. Asking in a polite way is more likely to work.
You explained yourself very clearly and was very polite, can't see what else you can say, you did well
DJ's personal commentary voice has an optimistic, inquisitive, clear, upbeat quality about it.
I dont give my permission to film me and put me on youtube. Say hi to youtube audience 👋
I've been watching a few of these auditor channels and can honestly say DJ, PJ & AB are top 3. The other auditors if you can call them that just seem to be chaved up and out for trouble.
DJ your style is excellent. 👍
The workers will put the management in the freelance internet picture. Too busy managing to watch RUclips. Well done DJ.
DJ went easy on him, probably didn't want to give him nightmares, they were positive interactions tho.
Ha ha ha. I’m gonna take that dudes attitude into court for a speeding fine from a camera that I went in front of but didn’t give permission for them to use while I was in public 🙈🙈🙈🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
"I'd like to ask you to delete that, I don't give you permission to use my image on RUclips."
"Do you remember when you asked me what I was filming for and I said 'RUclips' and then you continued to talk to me for the next number of minutes?"
🤣🤣🤣🙌🙌🙌
🤣🤣🤣🤣 good one!
He seemed really excited to tell you about what they did but then changed in an instant 😂😂
I love the secured access gate next to a barrier that even Warrick Davis could hurdle 🤦🤪.
As a novice I'm surprised the lorry doesn't need a red plate for even the smallest amount of hazardous chemical being transported, I always thought it was to inform first responders of the hazard, live and learn. 👍❤️🇬🇧
11:38 sounded like he / someone was using there own air freshener?! def a little chuckle lol
I use to use hydrofluoric acid as a rust remover when I had a carpet cleaning business. It was taken off the market (I believe) because it was deemed as potentially carcinogenic.
It amazes me that people still believe that they cannot be filmed or photographed in a public place. As a photographer i sometimes get approached when street shooting and told i cannot do that. I now always carry a few copies of photographic law to give to the more aggressive and also sometimes to police officers!
Not everything they sell is hazardous. When I worked in a warehouse we'd get distilled water from them for the fork lift batteries.
the sky at the end was like the simpsons lol
haha love how people are confused about why videos are being made! Why not & why work where they're working! The varied things people do in life ARE interesting 👍😀
D.J I Think All Trucks Carrying Chemical S Shold Have Plates On The Trailer To Let Emergancy People Know What There Carrying
4:10 He asks why DJ wants to fly a drone. I want to ask him why he chose to wear a pink shirt.
Not all chemicals are dangerous. As they say it is not how hazardous the chemical is but how you minimize risk. You can work with the most dangerous substance in the world but if you exposure is minimised then you are save.If you want to see how to handle any chemical you can download the material safety data sheet. This will tell you how toxic it is , what to do with expose and what to do in case of spillages. These MSDS are used to draw up a COSHH assessment which is used to show how to handle the chemical. This with a risk assessment will be used to minimise exposure to everybody.
You could tell he was uncomfortable from the beginning,😂 supprised he told you so much 😂
In the immortal words of R.E.M's Michael Stipe, "Like a hurt, lost and blinded fool, fool. Oh no I've said too much. I set it up."
Loved the forklift driver 👌 Surprised the barrels of acid were close enough to the fench they could have been easily pushed over. The last chap was a fun time.
He suddenly remembered the NDA that he signed as part of his employment contract 😃
Nice weeping willow by the gate, there must be a water source underground v.near by.
16:14 - some sort of liquid going down the drain on the far left of the screen there! DJ missed this because I assume it's not easy to see at the time on the little drone RC controller screen. But that is a potentially serious thing happening there, and it's going straight down that drain! If it's that hydrofluoric acid then that's a serious matter because it causes cancer. I think that may be one to re-address at another time and seriously check those drains.
IT DOESN'T MATTER... no actually it really does.
Pink shirt went off in strop.
Sent out chap in new hat and Hyviz ... that went well Haha
Most office jobs are coma sites. Cos they are so boring you're at risk of falling into a coma.
🤣🤣🤣
I've heard Mr.bean speak a few times in character, this dude sounds just like. I can't unhear it haha
He didn't give you permission; it didn't go as he hoped...
It surprises me how so many people actually think you need their permission film them in public, even if you’re standing on private land. Strange how they have no problem CCTV, that’s why we can film in public.
what a silly billy you can not trespass the eyes nor ears
Yet another man who knows all the laws off his mate
Very entertaining big boss didn't get his way 🤣 love how they walk up and then demand not to be filmed great someone recognised you always very informative 👍
I use my drone for filming clients properties, but have always thought that direct filming over other neighbouring properties is against GDPR laws - if the camera is able to pickup private details.
Also if my drone physically goes over other land, then this counts as trespass (although this is civil and not criminal).
How do you get away with breaking GDPR like this? Is it just that nobody has taken things further? Or is there a loophole you’re able to use?
I've learnt from these types of vids that gdpr only applies if you're flying for your business or you've been requested to fly over for monetary gain.
In this type of scenario (member of public out filming) you can fly a sub 250 gram drone anywhere as long as there isn't a no fly zone in effect from the CAA but dwellings are a different issue. 👍
Black belt barrister has just done a video on drones and the legality of certain uses, it is interesting how grey the areas are.
ECHR European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ECHR) is a European treaty in which the human and civil rights of all residents of the member countries are laid down. including public sector filming since November 4, 1950
loved this audit, informative, polite, very positive interactions.
He looks like a younger version of Jack Duckworth.
I’m pretty sure chemicals aren’t allowed to be stored along the perimeter of the fence and there has to be cages around the hazardous waste
"You don't have my permission to film me" funny, I didn't hear you ask for it! Lol
Honestly these types of videos make me feel so depressed. Passive aggression is still aggression. I wish the world my kids are growing up in was nicer.
The guys at the beginning & end were actually pleasant & very informative - but asking you to delete your footage is a bit lame. 😄. Oopsy, too late.
If you don't want to filmed build a 10 foot brick wall around your business, close the door, close the curtains and sit under your desk.
U need a boom mic so u can hear everyone that approaches you 😂
I’m not sure that would be appreciated but yes it would be great 🙌
Interesting video & drone footage. Always someone (who should know better) walking up to a camera & standing there chatting until the don’t want to be filmed. What the heck did he think was happening while he was talking to you?
Delivery trucks should be given a specific delivery time slot so that the offloading can be properly managed.

If you dont want your photons collected then move away from the photon collector.
I still can’t believe in this day and age that people still don’t get or know “ you tube” it’s as common as google, Facebook, instagram but people still look at you as if you had two heads.
I wonder what they do with the hazardous chemicals, do they use other chemicals to neutralise them and make them safe, do they clean the hazardous chemicals so they can be used again or do they store the chemicals until they naturally break down
No the store it and pay other companies to treat it. They must be neutralised and converted into a safe form and disposed off in an appropriate manner. Most are treated on site and made to less hazardous nature
