I have an LG washer and dryer I bought in 2009 and here in 2023 it is just now giving me problems. Best purchase I have ever made was these and now I’m getting ready to get these. Thank you for your review. You said all that I needed to know.
I work for an Appliance company similar to Yale, and I used this more often than the manufactures training! Love it! You should do a video on Beko Dishwashers :)
@YaleAppliance1 In order to use the remote start you have to select remote start on the dryer/washer. It then locks the door for "safety" so you can't remote start it with a kid hiding in it potentially.
The only thing useful about this "review" is that these are huge machines and won't fit many delivery situations. However, for those who can fit it, the review fails to mention the benefits of these machines over the smaller, "cheaper" LG model and ones from other brands. The drums in both are all stainless vs aluminum (washer) and painted rear (dryer) in the cheaper LG model one step down. The rest of the benefits were mentioned in this video, and make it superior to the other options that he tried to down sell you to. Also, wrong photo at 1:41, which shows a model with a center circular dial. This unit does not have that, and the dispenser is a completely different design.
Thanks for the information. My experience with an LG washer was terrible and I will not buy another one. Getting rid of that washer was my best decision. Just because the LG promotional materials state certain features does not mean much for me. I found out the hard way that their machines will override the user input.
@@YaleAppliance1 I have had this set for almost 2 years now. No problems at all. Nothing but clean clothes. The drum is bigger than the size of a triple load front loader you see at the laundromats. This is my 26th laundry set and I can say hands down is the best one I have owned.
I have access to this for half off cost, and I'm still comparing to Electrolux (best model) and LG WM4500, both other options at full price... I've been trying to decide for the past week, can you help me out?? You're the best, and great videos!
Half price is hard to resist. Electrolux is good, but right now LG has better features, an auto dispenser, and better reliability...But half price is pretty good
Unless you’ve got at least half dozen kids in your house, it’s completely impractical to have such a large washer, even if you can fit in house. I have to think this thing not only uses more water & energy per cycle but will be less effective washing a moderate sized load than would a normal sized washer. Worse yet, it must be paired w/similarly enormous dryer and that severely limits one’s options. I would bet there are no heat pump dryer options capable of drying that size load. No wonder it doesn’t sell.
I have an older version of this capacity by LG and it auto sensors the load and therefore adjusts the amount of water that it uses. It cleans very well.
The door on the Lg m9500 can be opened by a child, the door latching mechanism is clumsy a simple piece of plastic about 3/8 th of an inch. You never owned one of these cabbage you advertise.
You are one of the best presenters on RUclips and clearly practiced in the art and science of selling. LOVE watching your videos.
Wow, thank you!
Thank you...I really appreciate that

Ha! We have a few specific model reviews.
Got a 5cuft lg washer and it almost didn't fit through a 32" doorway. Still had to remove doors. Glad I did try to go all out getting the max size.
If you build a platform above the washer can you stack the dryer?
I wouldn't
How would you reach the controls on top unit?
Great qusetion, but most dryers can now be controlled on an app on your phone

I'm still hoping to see a review on the Cove soon. Either way, I really enjoy your videos.
Eventually! That's really great to hear.

Ok..so what are the benefits in your opinion...downsell? That’s funny
You are correct
Your right
He is paid to sell this garbage.
Yet I am saying the less expensive machines are a better value?

My experience with LG washers has been nothing short of amazing since 2008.
I have this set and I LOVE THEM!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing!

Question. I live in Amherst. I am about to buy a new fridge. I would be happy to buy it from you. Do you deliver out here? Thanks..
Good morning. We don't deliver or service Amherst, unfortunately. Really appreciate your message and glad you found the videos helpful!

Steve, does LG make a normal sized unit that’s virtually the same, and if so, what is that model number?
Not exactly the same, but look into WM4500HBA. It's super feature rich and is very reliable.
Does the 9500 have the automatic dispenser
It does not
I'm comparing this to the 4500 and the ge 850.
We love the GE 850. In my opinion, it has the best feature pack (that truly matter) on the market.

That is big for a washer.
Common LG, I bought 1 and it's vibrating so much that it moved away from its location, yanked the drain hose and flooded my floors
