@David Fowler The editing and graphics are after. The footage is from before. That's why Nate called James a US Champion and not world champion, and why even when they commented on the Envy he was throwing none of them mentioned the shot.
Guys James Conrad was using the envy before he threw it in at worlds, it was already famous…

Glad to see this considering I can't watch Jomez coverage of the USDGC. I'm sad that the the thing that was drawing people in to disc golf (Jomez, edited coverage) isn't going to be used in the US championship.

@@NicholasJens DGN has exclusive rights to the Broadcast. If you want to watch it you have to watch it through them at a premium.
Money. And a misjudging of what disc golf viewers like.
DGPT is slowly monepolizing the game and forcing these post production companies out
It is what it is I guess. Innova can do whatever they want and we as viewers can choose to ppv it or not. But yeah sad for sure. 😢

Maybe not spite, but to send a message. I wish people would realize the way to stop these bad decisions is to not pay for live ppv.

@@BIZARBIES normal people have jobs during the work day plus the quality of entertainment goes way down when you compare live coverage to the next day production in my opinion. Not worth it

Just bought one of the commemorative Envies this week, it's a pretty nice disc. That one will probably end up a wall hanger, but I might need to grab an Envy to bag.

I'm really hating no post-production USDGC coverage. It's actually worse than I thought it would be.
I say they make Jomez the official way of broadcasting disc golf. There’s no other broadcast at Jomez’s level right now of production
Watching Dickerson, Conrad, and Williams just hitting gap after gap is almost as fun as tourney coverage. These guys are so smooth.

@hyzerponix Well when every other event has been free to watch it does feel like a bit of a shaft. That's like Sunday night football suddenly being PPV only and expecting everyone to just accept it.
Can some tell me more? What is up with USDGC??
Some genius believed the best way to capitalize on the sport was to make one of the best tournaments PPV...even though the free nature of disc golf is what draws people to the sport. So instead of being able to enjoy edited coverage of the usdgc we either have to pay to watch live or opt to not keep up. This needs to be changed or the term US champion isn't going to mean much in a few years.
@@kristjanyoutube3620 Innova is basically the tournament director for this tournament and they partnered with DGN allowing them exclusive rights to the broadcast. DGN then put it up behind a pay-per-view because that's the best way for them to make money.
@@nurse5645 my big problem isn't even with that, it's that if you pay, you're paying for worse quality content than you normally get for free. If it were post production from jomez with a bunch of bonus content I could justify paying for it but it's lower quality filming, editing and commentary
everything the yellow envy hit in this video was beating it in the the perfect point to go in on 18. every little tree hit and rock on the ground
Love the background music and sound production! Jomez has underrated heroes behind the scenes.
I think we need Jomez to film a bunch of these throughout the season and release them over the off-season so we have fun content while wishing for warmer weather.

Thanks for providing content during the USDGC even though we can watch it unless we pay for the DGN. I'm sure I'm not the only one pissed off about having to pay to watch a sport where 90% of the courses are free to play. Idk listen I understand the sport is growing and eventually it will be a cable provided Chanel that I can only get if I have a cable provider but the fact that we could get Next Day coverage for free at the World Championchip but now the USDGC is a pay per view style tournament....absolute bullshit!! Thank you for everything yall have done for the sport Jomez Crew!! I know yall are taking a hit for this too
I don't understand the correlation of free courses to free coverage. They have to pay for the cameras and staff somehow. It's not cheap to rent out Winthrop. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
