PLAYING THE HIGHEST RATED COURSE ON UDisc!! (Harmony Bends)

- We finally made it out to Harmony Bends in Columbia, MO. Even though a few spring storms have been hitting hard on this course, it was in good enough shape to go give it a try! We didn't end up posting our scores since a few holes weren't really playable. We still had a ton of fun out there. What a crazy par 68 of a course.

Merch and more coming soon! Спорт
Watching pros shred a course you play makes you realize just how freaking good they are. I've played Harmony Bends about 6-8 times, and it's a beast. Every one of their shots would be one my best ever shots. Lol
First time stepping up to hole 1, throwing blind. Eagle. crazy
This course was rough lol
I've played twice traveling thru. First time I fell in with a group of locals & one of the dudes eagled 1 & 9... from the short tees but awesome to see! I'm just happy Simon approved playing the short tees heh
Yup same
what kills me is they complain about their putting but I'm sitting here going wtf these guys are amazing putters
Those are some James Conrad approved tee-pads
The term you are looking for is runways.
AIRPLANES perfect response with your name lol
@@DJfractalflight It's finally paid off...

@@kcwidman My whole life led up to that point, you know I was going to send it
You know it's a long hole when Simon uses a distance driver.
He uses pd2 for like 80m shots
Dont worry it will be manicured soon. The flooding and storms has been brutal the last month here. It will look great for Mid America Open!
Hiya Joe! Is the law cooperating? When's registration open up? Quite eager to get out to this one.
Nova Politte, it is set for June 30th, I think we are still going to open it up on that date. Looks like we should have all the approvals by than.
Canada too at our new championship course. We need to get the tour up here!
We, the locals who love this course, will be out working on this course and our other local courses for our upcoming tournament(s).
Hell yeah! Como represent!
HUGE CONGRATS to Casey on getting signed to Discmania!!!
Man I used to live literally less than a minute from that course before moving across town! We play the shorts all the time but you make the blue course look like child’s play!!! This was particularly fun to watch as a local:) thanks for posting
He threw eagle on hole 1 😡 I can hardly par from Reds
Please, please, please take a trip to Flip City DGC in Michigan. You won't regret it.
8:37 I bet someone got that already! NIce!
I'm going to go play there today. I can't wait til they add on to it. And funny story my friend found your yellow disc Simon.
I was going to ask who managed to get out there and find it! Congrats to your friend.
I'm impressed that you've been able to put these out while on the road. You're the man Simon!
I REALLY hope to see Casey on tour soon. He has gotten so good these last few months.
AJ Brown he just signed with Discmania 🔥
He’s playing in the DDO this weekend! First tee time is 840am I think
Same, he's just throwing some really tight looking shots, it'll be fun to watch him grow with the bigs, he certainly has a good teacher
Love that Calvin makes a last minute appearance!
I feel you... never fun having to leave a disc you just got...when you can see it.
im not willing to leave my discs.
ps. i have swam in mud too many times
@@eeromakinen4222 ahahahhah :D
I never leave discs in water. You often find other people's discs if you search the water.
Any of you live close by?
@@zachjohnston1392 what is close by...San Antonio, Tx here.
Casey: “It ended in the middle”
Simon: “In the middle of the lake!”
XD
Man Casey has improved SO much in so little time! Right?
he's easily ready for the tour life. playing with simon does that.
KallaMigCP cool! What was playing with Simon like?
gah - Would have loved to know you were in town! Great course and watching you Eagle hole 1 knowing 5 is my best ever on that hole... ouch.
I am one of the locals who play, and occasionally help maintain this course. It has indeed rained, and flooded a lot this spring. We try hard to keep this course well maintained. However, it is a huge challenge to do so every spring with the floods, and rampant growth. I appreciate this guys coming here and enjoying our course. I hope you come back and see it when we hold the Mid-America Open.
Sick!! Glad you guys got to play Harmony. Missouri is a hot bed for disc golf...incredibly underrated. Nikko would be proud lol
Love me some Water Works in KC!
STL represent
I also have a Mike Kemp dyed disc. I love his work... and Jeff Ash. That brainwave 🤤
So cool to see Simon and Casey play here! Amazing course. Unfortunately it does have a flooding problem in spring/early summer.. or maybe fortunately it has that problem, since that is the reason a property like that could become a public park & disc golf course. Columbia parks & disc golf club do their best to keep it as nice as possible. Hope to see Simon & Casey & more top pros here playing the MidAmerica Open eventually.
Shot in the dark, Dylan? Mizzou engineering?
@@tylerd.9457 Yep! Let me know if you are ever back in Columbia and want to play a round
D. Hackman Sounds good man. I’d like to check that course out. I didn’t start playing until I moved to Nashville.
@@tylerd.9457 yeah I just started over a year ago. Rarely play at Harmony Bends just because it is such a beast.
My home course!
Great video Simon and Casey. Congrats Casey on (finally) getting sponsored by Discmania.
Oh my goodness. I wish you guys had been there last Friday. I lived in Columbia when they were designing this course and got to play around with the course designer. I was back in town for the first time in over a year to play last week and had a blast. Lost two of my favorite discs but still had a blast.
LOVE this course. I drive down there from Nebraska a couple times a year
It was awesome to see some of the highest level pros take on a course that I play all the time, sad that you didn't get to experience the course in better conditions though.
Awesome! Glad you where able to get a round in, at Harmony Bends! I played it last September. Much better conditions. That's one problem we have in the Midwest, lots of severe storms to make a mess of things.
Good luck this weekend Simon and Casey and Big Congrats to Casey signing with Disc Mania!!!!! Great job, Go get it Casey
this shows that simon has the physical capabilities to be the undisputed best player in the world. His limitations are 100% mental. When the pressure is lifted on casual rounds, he does things like in this video. I really hope we get to see the same simon on tour.
"champions don't feel pressure" - Simon
Great video, as always. I'm playing a tourney at Harmony Bends tomorrow and really looking forward to it.
One of my all time favorites and right down the road from my hometown. Missed u all out there by 30 mins or so :(. But ya u guys came out right after some bad weeks of rain and storms 4 or 5 days earlier it was completely under water out there.
Yeah we definitely have had a ton of storms in early this year in Columbia. The back 10 is horrific when it’s flooded out but it never keeps me and my friends from going out and getting muddy! Hope you enjoyed my hometown course! It’s my favorite
I've only played this course once but it is damn good. Absolutely loved it!
That is some sick ass putting going on. And drives. And approaches.
Being from Missouri and having played the course from the longs, it was so much fun to see the ease with which you eagled hole one. I would have loved to see the second shot on hole 18 since that tends to be a make or break shot for most players. It would have been awesome if you could have had Zackeriath Johnson or George Smith tag along since Harmony Bends can be daunting with the amount of blind shots on the course. Thanks again for taking the film before a pro tour event at a local favorite.
The thing that amazes me the most is the accuracy and lines they can hit. Nice work fellas
Harmony is a beast of a course, and it’s so fun to watch you guys shred it up. Looking forward to seeing you both at Ledgestone in a few months!
Columbia, MO represent!! Thanks for visiting Simon! Crazy to think a disc golfer as renowned as you would play a course less than a mile away from my house!
Thanks for filming at Harmony! I travel between St Louis & Denver a couple times a year and always try to play, amazing place. And thank you for making me feel better about playing the short tees heh!
Love the casual rhyme at 2:52. Simon the casual versifier😎
stop at Caesar Ford on your way back. New course about 20 miles east of Dayton
I am just getting started with disc golf. You guys are killer! I can't wait to throw like that! Just subscribed. 👍
This course looks so good, Road trip to here is gonna happen soon.
Woo! Congrats on the Discmania signing, Casey!
Can I have your “Team Suh Dude” shirt now since you don’t need it? 😄
Casey signed with Discmania? That's awesome! When?
Nathan Cutler very recently he just posted about it. Avery Jenkins surprised him with it
Wish I could come see you guys in Emporia. Good luck Simon and good luck Casey!
You are my favorite golfer(other than myself)... Seeing you in person, you seem the same as in your videos... And your par save on 1110 was incredible!!!
Cool addition with the shot of the day at the end!
You need to try and make it to New Melle Lakes in Wentzville MO when you are done in Kansas. Play the long tees! Its a newer course but absolutely beautiful, could definitely see it being on the pro tour some day!
Would love to see you guys play little Mulberry in Georgia! Also very high rated on Udisc
Simon after losing his DD3 sounded like Bert from Sesame Street.🤣
accurate
I want one of those well beat in dd3s.. something that I could carry, and the disc could just whisper stories from all the sick flights it had from Simon!
I loved Harmony when I was able to play it last year, but all over the midwest has been rough to say the least
Good luck to all three of y’all in Emporia!
Just two bros out for some throws.
Thanks for taking me for the journey. Holding me over til Monday when I throw with my bro.
Calvins hair👌🏽
During covid-19...
Well, hairstyles have changed.
hey come up to Iowa City, only a couple hours north, we have so many awesome courses here, I recommend Peninsula and the Altmeier Farm!
We just had some heavy flooding and rains the past few weeks. Completely covered the parking lot. Agree with playing the shorts, thats mostly what I play and I live just a few miles away.
Cool! Welcome to Missouri!
Yes Simon it's always cooking in Missouri. We get like 2 weeks of spring then straight into humidity overload. 😓
Casey makes a perfection throw and says, "I think I'm good." The king of understatement.
I imagine you have to be pretty humble to play with Simon lol
It's hard to find a channel with a better like to dislike ratio than Simon's. You're killing it man, so happy for you!
Just played out there last week....ya 12 swamp. Love that course tho just the perfect guided hike when its dry. Truly awesome seeing these boys rip out there. Should be a pro turney when it dries out!!
Awesome duo (plus Cal)
dang guys you were in columbus, should have played the new Caesars ford park championship course, also par 68 over 10k
Agree with Simon about playing from the short red tees. Even from them, this is definitely not a course to go for a quick fun round. Can't imagine playing a full round mid-roadtrip.
You made that eagle on 1 look so easy...😳
Your putting skills are insane!!!
That surprise guess he really contributed to the video. Love it
These course is legendary
Beautiful course, thanks for sharing. I live in Michigan and I thought the top rated course on Udisc was Flip City. No biggie, I was just excited cuz it's one of the few bragging rights we have here. We did a lil road trip and played MCP The Beast and Leviathan which are both amazing courses. Leviathan has some bad conditions rn(a few holes under construction or flooding and 2 missing baskets), but The Beast was by far the funnest course I have played. It's right on Lake Michigan and very well maintained. You would play the Goliath tee pads but I'm not quite ready for 700ish feet holes. We have another road trip planned 7/3 to play The Beast and Flip City. After further review, Flip City is the top rated course on Disc Golf Scene.....
Casey has the Josh Anthon twinkle toes x step. Love it
Great vid! U can say that before watching it already😂
I just lost my favorite Royal Rage in a river yesterday. I feel your pain, Simon 😭
Calvin! Where have you been?! Epic course, you guys made it look easy 🙂
I actually did not start disc golfing until after I moved out of Columbia, Mo. I wish I would have started years ago.
One of the few videos I’ve seen with no dislikes!
Nice round Simon lizzote
Great to see you play some Missouri courses!! You need to try out Hanna Hills in Laquey, MO a new and upcoming course with similar demand for technicality minus some distance! Just contact Vic he would be glad to host you.
By the way, we do love to play the shorts!
"Good morning" at 2 pm... my kind of man ;)
Love your vids man
Looks like there's finally a Simon-proof course! :D
I can't believe I missed this, I am out there all the time. Would have loved to see this.
I didn’t think the course looked that bad. It’s definitely better than the home courses I get to play! Him being a pro though, let’s him play the best of the best!
Awesome!! So cool to see y’all come through my home town, I have the same feelings about harmony, it has so so much potential. Unfortunately this spring we’ve had flooding like we’ve never seen before that’s caused a lot of damage... hopefully you’ll be able to come back once we get her all cleaned up!
SUH DUDE. Course looks sick!!
It's almost the afternoon! It's 2:00pm 🤣
glad you guys made it out to our stomping grounds. But I'm confused - where do you hide the remote controls to your discs b/c mine certainly don't fly like that!
Best disc golf vids around hands down.💪🏽🥏⛓🤙🏽
#GreatEagleHole1🔥
Cant wait for our John Houck course to get done here in Abilene,Tx...will be out of my league...but I will still throw it...believe it's going to be a par 65
We played Harmony Bends in the spring a few years ago and it was brutal! The mud was horrible. I haven't had a chance to play it when conditions were good, but it is a super tough/fun course.
You have to play Seth Burton Memorial/Orange Crush in Fairmont, WV on your way back up north!!! They're the #1 and #3 rated courses in the state, plus they're at the same park. Plus we have those 2 disccatchers on every hole
You guys would LOVE Whistlers Bend Disc Golf course in Oregon!
LOVE YOUR Vids
Simon! Come play Caesars ford park in Xenia Ohio ! You’d be impressed I promise!
Come on back! Lots of improvements being made. Hasn't flooded since March of 2022. Mid-America Open 2023 is going to be great!
You guys should play Osage in Goshen Ohio one of the best courses around
was there ever a doubt Simon was going to make that first eagle putt?! lol. what an animal.
If you ever go to Michigan play @Flip City Disc Golf Park it has a 4.8 definitely worth checking out
Last year during the Mid-America Open Emerson Keith had one bogey in three rounds. Awesome tournament on a tough course.
He also said it was now his favorite course of all he's played.
This is what I came to see, Simon ripping up the best courses in the world
If you’re ever around the St. Louis area Eric McCabe designed a course over in Swansea Illinois on an old ball golf course. I think you’d really dig it. It’s called Clinton Hills
I live less then 10 mins from this place, glad to see it 'winds' the pros too. its so much elevation change up and down, more of a hike then a course.
Lolololololol your baby hills are just hills bud.
Elevation? Sweet Sea Level Child...you know nothing ;)
@@pdderek Nah. It's a good hike. No need to be a jerk.
PD Derek go play it and get your ass whooped. There’s hills all around the Midwest but this course is different and the camera does it no justice
