You misconstrue what I am saying. SOME tribes DID fight amongst each other over the violation of boundary and resource agreements, mainly in South America and in the mid-west/southwest, where resources were scarce. However, these skirmishes were NOT attempts at ethnic cleansing, and nowhere near the long, drawn out wars of Europe. I am college educated, former cultural anthropology major, with a focus on Precolumbian indigenous cultures. THIS is where I derive my info from, not 1950's westers.

Part 2: In addition to that, NO, tribes did NOT "try to conquer" each other. Ever. There was no need. You see, what native americans learned to do LONG before any European has...is its a better idea to live within ones means than to exhaust ones resources. In addition to that, there was no religion to impose on others, no poverty, and concepts of wealth were based on character and generosity...not the accumulation of things and stuff. Therefore, Natives RARELY ever fought amongst each other.

...I wish you would just stop being defensive and listen. You are missing out on an opportunity to really learn here. You also lack comprehension of the definition of conquer..to indicate a person or entity is attempting to conquer another group, is to say they are wanting to overcome, or be in complete control, over another group. IF this ever occured in North America, it was so long ago, there is no longer any evidence. On occasion, when native groups didn't settle things peacefully,

part 2: they would sometimes have to fight amongst each other. From what I understand, the Pawnee were a very fierce group in this regard. But they did NOT try to "conquer" other groups. I realize your lack of complete comprehension of your own vocabulary is what drives most of your half-formed arguments. First rule of debate class; gather information. Define unfamiliar vocabulary ;) You seem to think "conquer" simply means to "battle". this is like saying Book is really a Chapter.
