High charity is probably one of my top favorite fictional locations in any video of all time, I absolutely love the history, lore, architecture and artstyle of the glorious holy city, I also find it’s fate of becoming a flood hive extremely interesting too, love the channel ❤️
@Saint Oliver I doubt interdiction tech would be of any use against slipspace tech. Interdictors work by simulating the gravity wells produced by planets and other large celestial bodies, which proves effective because hyperdrives have built-in failsafes that prevent them both from jumping to *and* staying within hyperspace when near such things to prevent potential collision. Essentially, think of hyperspace as a smaller version of the actual galaxy, everything is still there but a lot closer together so collisions with celestial bodies is a very big problem to worry about. Slipspace on the other hand, if my memory serves correct, essentially creates a bridge between point A and point B that can be traversed without any fear of colliding with any physical objects between those two points. Essentially teleportation with extra steps, so to say. So slipspace would be a pretty hard counter to interdictor tech *and* boast far superior traversal capabilities through the galaxy than a fleet of ships equipped with hyperdrives.
For a place called High Charity, there sure is a lot of grunt poverty
Should’ve called it “Selective” Charity
@@stubbornspaceman7201 Well, now, it's call(...) Flood hive.

Covenant Empire vs Galatic Empire.
Stalemate for sure
Although the GE's Interdiction technology, while still in prototype stages, will make the Covenant quite frustrated to say the least im sure
I think Eckhart’s Ladder did a video about this very topic
