I would really like to see or read about life on Covenant Worlds during the war. Wonder if there was any fear of demons coming down from the sky and lighting their worlds ablaze, and the outbreak of the Great Schism.
There was actually. Glyke, a Sangheili colony, was NOVA bombed by Grey Team, as payback by ONI for glassing Reach. It was shortly before the epilogue in H3 in fact. The aftermath was explored in Halo: Envoy! You should check it out!
I’m almost certain Forerunners like Covenant misunderstood the Mantle of Responsibility and the true goals of Precursors were lost in time. It might very well turn out that Precursors were killed not just for pure jealosy and lust for power but also for disagreement of their ideology.
I could have sworn the Grunts were also implied or stated to have a society with a matriarchical or unisex leadership as well, not just the Jackals and sometimes Prophets.
I would really like to see how some of the San'shyuum who preferred the Sangheili reacted to Truth's plot during the Great Schism. I'm also interested wether or not there were any Game of Thrones type of political scheming between Truth and Regret considering how Truth despised Regret and Regret might've felt the same about Truth.
Well we have, once. Zo Resken, Truth’s assistant, was on friendly terms with Sangheili and sided with them when the Great Schism broke out. He was a main character in the second half of the book Broken Circle
It’s heavily implied unless stated somewhere that Truth purposefully sabotaged Mercy’s throne. As you look in gameplay against Regret, you see his throne can teleport, had shields, and gravity cannons and the like. But when the Flood start infesting High Charity, Mercy’s repeatedly tapping on his throne, and nothing happens as he panics. Tartarus could’ve EASILY saved Mercy from the infection form but Truth swayed it off as collateral, a necessary casualty in his climb to power. He let’s Mercy die like that because if anyone asks the Flood killed him, which it did. But he just neglects to mention that as he wanted to get rid of his competition for absolute authority. As with Regret, there was more GOT levels, if you look notice earlier in the game, R’tas complains that he could’ve saved Regret from Chief, it Truth didn’t call off the Phantom task force to reinforce him. Truth sways and shrugs it off, for he has planned that as an excuse to get rid of the Sangheili, and replace them with the Jiralhanae for becoming too smart, questioning his motives, and the Covenant’s position in the war, while the latter were too dogmatic in blind loyalty and didn’t bother questioning orders. He had planned to rid them for a few decades and Regret being on Delta Halo was that catalyst.

I would love to see not just one but multiple books about life in the Covenant before they met the humans. That would be so cool since the Covenant is one of if not my favorite halo faction.
I'd love to see more of the Governors of contrition I bet they are still around, Just think of some secretly being in the Banished and releasing the flood on purpose

Covenant civilian utterly fascinates me because there is so little of it available. We know about what it's like to live on Sanghelios but is that how every Sangheili is raised or does it change from planet to planet? The Covenant had a currency so what was their economy like, was it serviced based, production-based, post-scarcity? What was it like to live in a covenant city, was it cosmopolitan and filled with culture or sterile and highly regimented? How did individuals form relationships, did they treat them like humans did as a chance to pursue attractive partners or as something more formal and regimented? Were interspecies relationships allowed, if yes how much and if no how little? How does the covenant government even work, is it a full-blown theocracy or is it more bureaucratic and oligarchic? How heavily does caste affect your living standards and can they be approved? What do the covenant species do for fun? Do they have sports, video games, bars, media? How do they worship their religion, do they go to large events, or is it more informal? What kind of holidays do they celebrate and how do they celebrate them? How does education work in the covenant, is it a system or is it more like an apprenticeship? Do the covenant have scientists and if they do are how are they regulated? I have so many questions!
Intresting how sanghelios was chosen as the capital considering the profits where the political leaders. I wonder what the negotiating teams where planning. Perhaps the profits already planned high charity so they could use this for leverage. Eitherway, great video guys!!

The flood cult is by far the most interesting fact, because of how similar it is to actual cults revolved around dark realities and religion
