The way I see it is I'm doing her a favor by cleaning off the bits of detritus that she's shed off over the years I mean okay yeah I shot her with arrows a few times, but it was to dislodge stuff that was already loose I swear
It's still always so wholesome seeing how excited and thankful everyone is to see Tulin come in for support. He had a big legacy to live up to and he damn well did it!!!!
1:10:58 So, it's not an exaggeration to say this is the best version of Princess Zelda to date? She's basically the main character of BOTW and TOTK since her character develops over the course of both games. She has an active role in the stories, especially in TOTK where she does everything she can to set Ganondorf's fall in motion and give Link everything he needs to succeed. She's as much a hero as Link. Without her, Link (and Hyrule) would have been doomed. Her obsessions with nature and history are also adorable too.
@@easymodegamer501Omg I was just going to bring up Phantom Zelda! Spirit Tracks has a very special place in my heart, that Zelda can be a little bit bratty and entitled but she gets a pretty big reality check early on when she literally dies and she’s a delight to have as a companion throughout the rest of the game. That being said, TOTK Zelda made me cry multiple times. She’s such a sweetheart who cares so much about rebuilding the world and deserves a nap and a hug after everything she’s been through.
In my own playthrough, getting the Master Sword ended up being so perfectly poetic -- right after finishing that last memory and watching Zelda fly past, I instinctively started running towards her and, as if to answer my prayers, a perfectly timed piece of debris fell from the sky directly in front of me, allowing me to hop on and ride Recall all the way up to her. It was the most satisfying thing I think I've ever experienced playing a game, and I'm amazed that a random unscripted rock was what did it.
I love that when Link pulls the sword, the dragon’s golden hair seems to willingly let go almost. As if the last shred of Zelda can finally rest knowing that Link has it. May be digging too deep but that is heartbreaking if intended.
I also explored the thunderhead islands while the fog was on by using Riju's ability to make the terrain visible, since it covers it with a yellow mask that the fog doesn't obscure. I thought this was the intended strategy until I realized after there's a quest to clear the fog lol.
I did a second file just to do Thunderhead first and used a flying machine to do it. Just need 5 more hearts. Did you know you actually can’t get the Charged Set until the Phenomena quests are done? Cuz I didn’t.
@@reaperofthingsironically I just started another playthrough and went to check if I could immediately off the GSI. I’m now grinding shrines so I can get enough hearts to immediately open Mineru’s door

It's been a fun, beautiful, and hilarious ride. But all good things must come to an end. I'm not crying, you are.😭 Thank you so much Penny for giving us this masterpiece of a series. ❤
9:25 that puzzle is easily one of the top 3 most jankest puzzles in the game where you try 10 different solutions that all "seem like they totally should work" only for it to go completely sideways So its probably for the best it was skipped
These edited videos were amazing but I'm a little sad to see they're over. I may need to check some of the VODs because idk if I'm ready to say goodbye to the TOTK Penny hijinks P.S.: Sophie did an amazing job with the CCs, as someone with APD I appreciate any form of subtitling, but I'm really grateful for how she went above and beyond to make the whole experience as fluid and enjoyable as possible
I'm so glad Penny skipped the beginning of the fog quest too and just brute forced it. I felt so stupid doing it but I genuinely didn't know if there was a quest to clear it lmao.
God I hope penny eventually encounters a character named ellipsis in something and has an actual joker moment when a game itself hits her with the "penny, ellipsis"
It's been a joy watching your totk videos, even as I play the game myself! Also I really appreciate that you provide captions - i feel like it's so rare for me to find videos that don't just use auto-generated captions, but I enjoy seeing the inclusion of sound effects or descriptions of the fun voices you do throughout the video ^u^
This one is so good 10/10 bits, the story is insane, just all around *chef's kiss* (I laughed till I couldn't breathe at everything from "Bonesaw is ready!" to "Hello, Peter.")
Thank you so so much for sharing your playthrough of this game with us, i cannot play this game because of disability but i have such an incredible love for tloz especially botw and totk and i am so so thankful to have experienced this game with you. thank you so much
“If it doesn’t work then it doesn’t work. But if it *does* work, then… Whoops!” That is a beautiful summarization and encapsulation of problem solving in this game. Also if you dont want it to be over the hear me out… just keep playing the game. (knowing you, you could make a vid out of sidequesting)
I did the literal exact same thing as penny with the shrine in the fog 😭 Thankfully, I didn’t find the actual quest shrine, just one of the shrines that are there The bit of penny screenshotting ninety every time is my favorite part from this highlight compilation. Loved it!!
Tony Hawk telling me to skate or die is probably one of the most emotional moments in the Zelda series, ngl... All that was missing was him saying "later, skater" and skateboarding off at the end... 😢
the piggly wiggly bit is so funny because it was invented in my city and our museum has a gigantic piggly wiggly exhibit because its where the first piggly wiggly was. ive never been to an actual operating piggly wiggly

Objection: Spirit Tracks. Where she is actively a character the whole way through and even deals the final blow alongside you.
Now they just gotta make her playable
