I like my John Lofgren engineers, however… The sizing is slightly off for me, mostly due to my right foot being wider at the ball than my left. This makes for a tight fitting toe box but a somewhat loose heel, which isn’t ideal.
I HEAR JOHN LOFGREN ENGINEER BOOTS ARE HARD TO GET YOUR FOOT IN FROM 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE ON THESE VIDEOS! ONE MAN CANT EVEN WEAR THEM. WASTED 2000.00 DOLLARS.
Yeah that’s a tough situation. I’d say broadly speaking, if you’re buying something especially at $2,000 there’s a significant responsibility on the consumer to be informed of what they want, and the appropriate sizing for them. If in person, it makes it much easier but many seem to be faulting the shoemaker when they buy shoes online, that are handmade and then want to be absolved of all risk and expense if the fit is not right. That becomes very costly for the shoemaker when they’re constantly losing money and pairs of shoes due to returns. All that said, the shoemaker should be adept at discussing sizing virtually.
Role Club kills.
Like them in Black.
Great boots!
