Guy who sold me the hot tub said with it, maintenance was easy, just replace the chlorine (silver) capsule every month and the blue one every 4 months, but is that really the case? And do I really need to use their test strips as opposed to the generic ones? Thanks.
You can use generic test trips. They are just trying to sell you their product out of their store. I purchase mine off of Amazon & Never do I purchase chemicals from any Brick and mortar hot tub store Because they'll nickel and dime you + you can get your chemicals online for 1/2 of the cost sometimes of what the town/city store sells it for.
