I came here to learn what node to use to just change the frame rate, and I left having learned the secret to achieve even better slow-motion. Thank you, good sir!
Could I bother your time for a question? I recently learned how to do a text effect -similar to computer writing. However, the text animation happens too fast. If I could trouble you for your time, do you know how I would slow this text effect down?
@@PTFWWDB sorry dude, forgot which video i was watching. You’re correct time speed has no keyframe option, you’ll wanna use “Timestretcher” node in fusion. It’s confusing AF, but you’re basically setting a begging and end of a clip and then setting frames of the source to align within that keyframe range. So say you have a clip that is 120 frames long. You want to time stretch parts of it. You could set intro as 0, go to frame 120 on the fusion clip and enter value of 60 with a keyframe in timestretcher, you basically are telling it to play/stretch frames 0-60 over 120 frames of your fusion clip, so 50% speed. You can speedup, reverse, you’re not limited to one point. Obviously Its more complicated than that, im still working with it, but thats the basics of it, check it out. (Btw all the opticalflow info here is the same for timespeed)

Thanks man. I watched 6 other videos and your video finally helped me fix my issue

Perfect!
Super, How to do variable speed changes?
There is no option for variable speed change but I think you can keyframe delay to get that. Don't know the exact way for that.
@@TechCycle I tried Bspline with the timespeed node, but some times its cranky.
Ok. I personally never tried it😅, so can't give any solution
@@TechCycle Thank you for the videos. They are straight to the point 🙂

you can't keyframe the speed?!
figure out the speed you want, like maybe you want 10% speed, set the out frame to 10% fewer frames. Its confusing AF i agree, but it works
@@HearMeowt_YT ughh,, lol
