    Does it have to be infrared or will just led strips work?

    I do it cheaper, I use two temporary bulb holders taped to a 12 inch 1x2 wooden board. I then connect the black wires with a positive wire from a short extension cord, then the white wires connect to the white wires with red scotch caps. I use 2 60 watt incandescent bulbs for illumination over the sky screens of my chrono. each bulb is over a electronic eye. NO errors yet in 200 shots with a rws 34 .22.

    Magnetic led's lights with a magnet on top does the same and 4 dollars each.
    Colour with a red marker pen and your good to go.

    What would be in your opinion is the best co2 177 bb or pellet pistol for about $50 usd?

    Not just a normal 9volt battery has to be alkaline

      I just taped two 18650's together and powered it with that, works good too and rechargeable. 7.4V
