A few years ago, right about when I was your age, I would visit this creek often with my 2 weight. This is a great place to practice casting and to learn small creek tactics. It prepared me for some much more glamorous trips in future summers! It's awesome to see someone else learning as well!
I am glad you have continued to make videos since this first one! Your vids are very educational for beginners. I bought a pair of Orvis waders and wading boots recently and I am hoping they will be great for fly fishing.

@@elisjournal4435 ....yes, we are from SF, so we fish the Pecos, Rio Grande, etc. We have already picked up some great tips from you for these areas! My boy is 16 and has only fallen in love with fishing about a year ago. It’s been fun watching him gain an appreciation. Pls keep the vids coming! They are fantastic.😊👍

Yeah, with a little stream like that I would use a 2 -3 wt. Rod! I just got back from Idaho Springs, CO and killed it with browns nymphing.
