+Odierix in the real world that s2k would have been far smoked.....especially with the proper tuning on the jetta.....redlining wont save one there...also this s2k was heavily modified with racing engine specs...

Give me a track ready E30 M3 or 911 GT3 RS and a Yamaha YZF-R1 or BMW S1000rr any day over a highly tuned Supra or Skyline GTR. Those cars and bikes come very much alive when thrashed around a track.

It is actually. Source: I own an AP1 S2000. The rear windows for the earlier movies were made with plastic (less weight, and much easier to design than a folding glass one, not to mention cheaper. Fortunately, most of these plastic windows are faded beyond visibility.

You may own a car from a certain manufacture, but it doesn't mean you will know everything by owning one. SR and RB platforms had VVL. Nissan Sentra SE and Nissan Skyline R32/33 is an example.
I seem to remember that "honda" was fitted with a sr20det.... they mention it in the movie. And since you didn't notice that reference in the movie I'll explain, a sr20det is a nissan engine.
