    I have an '05 just like yours. And hats off to you it is not fun to do. The transmission cooler lines are a true joy. Getting ready to do mine.

    I like how the little boy knows the first thing to do is make sure it’s got gas in it. 😆👍

    I was able to replace my camshaft sensor without removing anything except the cover. Looks like a lot of work removing all that stuff😅

      Cam sensor can be replaced easily from the top the crank position sensor is at the bottom under everything. And if the car doesn't start at all there is also a 10 amp fuse in the fuse box that runs the sensors so check it first.

      @@briandumas83 Which fuse? I'm dealing with the same issue, but I haven't been able to find any info about which fuse the crank position sensor uses.

      @@marrhero208 honestly it's been awhile since I've worked on one but the fuse is under the hood on the driver's side id have to look at the diagram to tell you the specific one.

      Same here...just had to put a swivel on my 8mm socket. Put an old tshirt on belt below sensor so any dropped bolt won't go into timing belt.

      @@marrhero208 it's the 10 amp ECU fuse. Left hand side of the fuse box 4th one up.

    How did you remove the left bolt of the crankshaft sensor without removing the belt? I'm working on a 2006 sorento and the left bolt is hitting the belt. I cant take it out.

    • @briandumas83
      @briandumas83  Год назад +1

      I put a socket in a swiveling in an extension and you can kind of pry on the Belt a little bit if you need to

      @@briandumas83 While I was looking for a solution, my dad figured it out. All he did was slide the belt a little with a long screwdriver and the bolt fell down. Still, thanks for the tip.

    • @briandumas83
      @briandumas83  Год назад +1

      @@SP-vl1jh no problem. If you're already in that far go ahead and check and make sure that your timing is lined up. Dot to Dot . And check the status of the belt for cracks and stretching and after you get it all done and back together if it doesn't work there's a fuse that runs the EVAP regulator that also feeds power to everything. Hope you get it fixed.

      @@briandumas83 Will do. And it probably is the crankshaft sensor because I moved the wire to the side and the sensor basically came apart when I was removing the right bolt. The left bolt was just holding the broken piece of plastic from the sensor.

      @@SP-vl1jh yeah it was definitely a bad design the heat just ruins them.
