What do you think? Nyxi Joypad or Hori Splitpad?? And click here to watch my quick review of the Sonic Hori Splitpad! ruclips.net/user/shortsnbS6I50b6H8?feature=share
The Hori Split Pad Pro is officially licensed. I know that doesn't always matter when it comes to quality, but I've heard about BinBok being pretty much a crap shoot, with some people getting ones that are fine and others getting defective ones. I don't know if it's the same with NYXI.
I have both and ultimately I prefer the Hori because the feel in quality. I like how the binboks fit my hand more than the Hori the binboks are fatter in the palm area and I have larger hands but like I said the quality is better with the Hori the feel of the plastic, joysticks and buttons all feel better imo
Hey that’s good because they’ve got really awesome designs! For me the Hori split pad fits better in my hands. Turns out the Nyxi being big and round on the bottom makes it hard to hold and causes the system to pitch forward. The extra features are nice though. Looking forward to checking out the Hori compact.
I pretty much use the binbok whenever possible. There's a update I need to do that's supposed to make the deadzone better. The comfort and features is worth the downgrade in sticks on any game that isn't competitive or needs exceptional accuracy like a pro controller.
I've heard so many good things about the binboks and I'd love to try them or the nyxi one day but, I'm with u on the Hori Split Pad Pro. For a while that was my go to controller and I agree with you about thr overall quality of the. I personally think they are the best joycons out there. I need to get the red one's. I still have the launch ex machina edition complete in box. The hori are so good that I use to play competitive fighting games online and I kick but with them so yeah, they are the best anyone can buy. The cons with the hori are: 1. No nfc, rumble, Gyro 2. They aren't wireless which I don't understand? 3. Playing certain games over a period of time does give me a cramp but that's just a very small pet peeve and I wouldn't subtract any points for that. Pros: 1.hands down the best dpad 2.analog, ergonomics and buttons are flawless. Quality overall. Lastly, there's a brand Called Kinvoka on Amazon which are some amazing joycons but thr only drawback is the dpad. Other than that they are great but it doesn't have nfc which not even close to a big deal. If I were u, I'd check kinvoka joycons out. They don't cramp your hands like the hori after a while either. Their smaller than the hori and has better grip that's why I don't use the hori anymore.
@@redcrimson1028 I actually prefer the Compact. Preference comes down to the persons hand size/shape, use case, and preferred fit and feel. I have a video comparing the Compacts to a few other controllers. And I’m currently editing up my video on the Pokémon compacts. I think they look so cool.
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you like that because it almost didn’t make the cut lol. I only noticed that right when I was done recording the main video! Nice touch.
They really did such a great job with the design. I remember when the Split Pad came out we were like man it’s so cool in this ex machina or whatever black and red design WHY DOESNT IT HAVE LICENSED DESIGNS and here we are.
@@switchunboxing I prefer practically everything about the Nyxi, everything just feels much better.. well, I got the brand new Hyperion model. Maybe that's why I had a better experience
two questions, do they charge when attached like regular joycons or do you have to charge them separately with a cable? and this was uploaded a month ago, so how do you feel about them now, would you still recommend them?
They do charge while connected. I saw it in a different video. You can also charge them while off the switch, individually and without a charging stand, because they each have a C port.
Yes they charge while connected and the features are nice but I think I still prefer the Hori Split Pad shape for how I play in bed with the Switch above my body. In this potion, the Nyxi pitch forward and I have to hold my finger on them so the Switch stays upright. I think if you’re sitting or standing and holding the Switch down, the Nyxi may not have this problem. Overall I’m really looking forward to unboxing the Hori Split Pad Compact. It might be my favorite but we’ll have to wait and see.

Hori Split Pad is really great if you don’t need those other features so if you are more comfortable with that one I’d say it’s still a good decision!

@@switchunboxing the hori compact isn't great. They're a step back from the split pad. Stick with the split pad pro.

I like the grippy texture on the NYXI
Prove it
Hori split pad haven't did me wrong. I had the same ones for 2 years .
The Hori Split Pad is good! And I like the designs they’re coming out with.
I got new horis and they drift already 1 month in 😢
@@TheNoviceAnimator_ it's defective then. I've had mine longer for 2 and they are still flawless.
The splitpad sticks look bigger on split pad though. Can you confirm this?
Hello, I would like to buy controllers for my Switch which of these two controllers you agree me?
Pros and cons of each one. Pick the one you like most!
Which would you recommend? Nyxi or BinBok? Are there any big differences between the two?
I think it’s the same product just different distributor.
@@switchunboxing Oof ok. Thanks.
@@Ur_Fav_Brunette_xd Welcome
my g, how battery this joycons consume for the switch like 30 minutes less?
WHAT the Nyxi?? They’ll last much longer than that, wirelessly.
Wait, Is the nyxi and binbok the exact same controller and just branded differently?
Yes
I am digging the sonic one. I would be down to try the white ones out though simply because they can stand up with the switch
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you like that because it almost didn’t make the cut lol. I only noticed that right when I was done recording the main video! Nice touch.
Also I have been messaging you on Twitch. Are you on Twitter or Instagram? I can hit you up there if it’s better
You won 10 million bells last week!
@@switchunboxing my bad bro, I need to turn on whisper notifications or something. I can hop on now or I can tomorrow after I get off at 6pm
Please do a review on the Hyperion model!!!
Ok I will try to fit it in my schedule!
Totally jealous of the sonic controllers.

Is there ant difference between binbok and nyxi? Or are both the same?
To my knowledge it’s the exact same product just different distributor.
So what is better?
I prefer the feel of the Hori but many people prefer the rumble, gyro, and wireless capability of the NYXI.

Joy con drift ?
I haven’t had any! Then again I don’t ever have that problem on my JoyCon either.
