Q
SHANE!! Why do you believe that it is scientific to say something definitively is not real without evidence that it does not exist? It is generally considered unscientific to say that something is not real or cannot occur without proof our world cannot operate as it does if they did exist.
Further, we learned during Mystery Files that Shane believes something is solved by choosing what is ‘most plausible’ whereas Ryan needs all other theories to be scientifically disproven. But in science, you cannot choose what happened because it makes the most sense to you.
That being said, can you explain how your stance that ghosts aren’t real, which you say is based on science and reality, is scientifically sound? It’s more scientific to believe that something is possible and try to disprove it than to believe that something isn’t possible without concrete evidence.
Would you guys ever consider investigating other ghost hunters and if so, who?
For the debrief: In the future, do you guys plan on going to any haunted caves or mines? If so, which one would you want to go visit?
For Debrief: Has there ever been any location you’ve traveled to that actually scared Shane or is he immune to fear? 😂
Suggestion: Instead of hiding the walkie talkie, Shane hides himself, stays silent and then Ryan has to search the place alone knowing Shane is in there...somewhere...waiting...watching...
Ooooo I actually really love this. And I hate jump scares 😂
I feel like Ryan's poor tiny little heart wouldn't be able to take that.
Would make for great content tho!
He would literally shit himself, I would honestly feel bad for him. But very interesting idea
You're hired!
That would be significantly less scary for Ryan
“Sponsored by The State of Montana” is such a wild line for a ghost hunting show, this is incredible.
What does it even mean tho? A whole state sponsoring a RUclips video? How does that even work
@@RooiePim16US states often put out sponsorships or advertisements to encourage tourism. In this case, they want to encourage ghost hunters to also come and visit/investigate their state
Most ghost hunting shows are on travel-based channels for this reason. A lot of states have done this :)
Yeah unfortunately I think that is the reason it was censored too. 😒
I have never seen a sponsor like that, I was like huh??
Shane: I absolutely refuse to believe in ghosts
Also Shane: I choose to believe there was a gorilla guarding this prison
Yeah cuz gorillas are actually real
Gorilla got more job security than me
It's clearly a joke, dude.
@@cybercorn5966clearly everyone knows that.
Well we know Gorillas are real lol
I watched a shit ton of you guys while I was pregnant and now Shane and Ryan’s voices are one of the only things that get my 1 month old to stop crying 💀💀💀
Congrats on ur new kid and haha I'm happy we got new fans
wait that's actually so cute omg🥺
Your 1 yo is part of the ghoul boys
Aww❤
this is so funny to me
I'm so obsessed with the fact they got sponsored by an entire STATE. Truly the greatest ghost hunters alive
Montana is now the best state in the Union
fr i had to pause and run to the comments
too bad it was the state trying to become the most unsafe for trans people and known for being violently Republican. super disappointing
Ryan: *answers rotary phone*
"WATCHER HQ."
The state of Montana: "We've been looking for you. Montana needs the Ghoul Boys."
The Ghoul Boys will save their tourism industry!
I think you guys need to do a spin off or subset of ghost files where Shane picks a place and gives Ryan “history” on it. They investigate and Ryan has to determine if the place is haunted or not. Then at the end Shane reveals if it’s truly a haunted location or if he just picked some random old building and made up stories. Could be a fun idea 🤷🏻♀️
A puppet history crossover!!
@@94DeathAngelThis sounds so fun!
I hope they see this
Do ghosts like jellybeans?
Ok but I love this!!
The camera person really understood the comedic nature of Ryan sitting next to that mannequin and questioning his life decisions. They captured it so perfectly lmao
47:48
Looks a bit like the Office haha
I love that Ryan is afraid of ghosts and Shane’s just like: “is the paint poisonous?”
Honestly, a legitimate concern
I think it's venomous, actually.
Zombies are literally the opposite of ghosts. Ghosts are the spiritual remnant of a person, absent a body. A zombie is the physical remains of a person, absent a spirit. They truly couldn't be more opposite, Ryan.
Neither exist tho so how would anyone know
"Ryan" got me 😂😂
@@dariuszupan8145because that's how they are described in the fictional stories they originate from/ is the most popular popculture interpretation of them
@@Magikal10 what about stuff like last of us or wwz or RE? It is just a parasite, and the "soul" or "personality" is just buried underneath. I wouldn't call a zombie a ghost either but catagorizing them is strange due to how many versions of ghosts and zombies exist.
@@dariuszupan8145 it's definitely finicky when looking at all interpretations of them, but most of the time the overall perception tends to be "body with no soul"/brainless monster moreso then parasite or disease, (personally I prefer the latter interpretation)
Obsessed with the idea that the state of Montana wants people to visit them or at least be aware of their existence and someone piped up with “we could invite two ghost hunters to the old prison” and everyone agreed
as someone who lives in Montana currently, im beyond surprised “Montana” sponsored this episode. Montana people are on a wack ass period of hating everyone and everything that isnt a montana local.
tbf it's working. I would never have thought to go to Montana but like with their weird wonderful world ep about solvang, I wanna see what the vibe is
" yeah Fred, that's a great idea...mark that down on the minutes "
A VERY montana move, to be fair
@c.walters1270 Probably because everyone is moving here and ruining everything for those of us who have lived here our whole lives 🤷
After Shane closed the door in solitary confinement and hearing that door squeal, I’m 100% convinced that “Hi” evp was just the door moving slightly
Could have been a high pitched fart also.
@@Kardinaalilintuliterally my same thought!
the door was to loud and they are heavy, so why would a heavy door be barely moving?
@@dull_demon4717You don’t have to be so aggressive lmao chill bud
@@juicygalaxy773 i wasn't being aggressive before, so chill out yourself
shane’s best quote to the zombie files “probably get as much evidence “ was great 😂💀
Audibly laughed out loud at that 😂
Love how "shave and a haircut" is supposed to be proof of intelligent life and Ryan is completely unable to do it.
LMFAO
damn 😭
I thought it was proof of intelligent ghost, which Ryan isn't, but Shane did it well, so maybe he is. That'd explain why he ain't afraid of ghosts.
Explains a lot, honestly
😭😭😭😭😭
They really got a whole state to sponsor an episode, that's crazy.
I can't take Montana moment seriously. It just sounds like bruh moment.
That’s what I’m saying!!!
we need the publicity so bad
Montanans don't like the montana moment stuff either 😅
Makes sense if they’re trying to attract tourists. I’ve stayed the night on the Queen Mary and went to the Whaley House cuz of them
If Ryan can believe in his ghosts, Shane can believe in his gorilla.
The fact that the S and the R on the solo investigation map are the real life size ratio of Shane and Ryan cracks me up.
the most scared i’ve ever been during ghost files is ryan breaking the fourth wall and telling me to eat my little snack while i was eating my little snack
Same here! Was having Taco Bell and a Baja blast. I am going ghost hunting tonight though so he’s got that bit wrong
sipping on some Bacardi and diet coke like its my bday yeah I guess him going into his Ricky Goldsworth mode is a little scary
genuinely sitting here with my bdubs like 😮
me, eating my pizza hut garlic wings with a bevvy, afraid and called out
@@reillyhatcher-campion3466 seeing you're comment when it's two days old I want to ask, did your ghost hunting go well?
shane is 100% correct on ghosts and zombies aren't the same,,,,you could probably have a ghost and a zombie of the same person
that would be a super cool concept of like a storie or a series :o
I’d be pissed of if I were a ghost and I ran into someone who’d turned my corpse into a zombie. What happened to consent?
Your ghost just follows your zombie around like "Bruh come on, why are you EATING THAT PERSON, YOURE BETTER THAN THIS"😂
That's because a ghost is a soul without a body, and a zombie is a body without a soul. If either were real, of course.
Yes... zombies would be the physical body without the spirit or soul, and ghosts would be the spirit/soul without the physical body
Ryan: why can't we find valid evidence of a ghost?
Also Ryan and Shane: *spends 5 minutes going 'wow' like Owen Wilson expecting a response from said ghost in an old prison*
I am sorry, but are you a proffesional Ghost Hunter Sponsored by the state of Montana to investiagate a old prison?
Sounds like cats about to fight…or trying to intimidate each other..
the ghosts: girl what
@@SlipknotFan47it really did 🤣 my cats were looking between me and my phone like "the f**k is happening right now". I took it next level to mess with them and started meowing with them 🤣🤣 my cats didn't appreciate that at all😂
If the ovulus had also said wow, I'd habe lost my mind
about halfway through watching this episode, I kept noticing lots of strange noises that Shane and Ryan weren't reacting to and I started to get really confused because the sounds were very distinct and some of them lined up with prompts that they were saying. but then i realized that the sounds weren't actually coming from the video at all - they were coming from my own home. my cat, who was sitting with me while watching, noticed at the same time, so we went downstairs to investigate. turns out a small flying squirrel made it's way down my chimney and was running around in my fireplace, making all sorts of strange noises. the squirrel is safe and has been release back outside :)
There's something particularly cruel about a former prison infamous for corruption, abuse, neglect, and ultimately death being turned into a law enforcement museum. If I died there I'd be pissed and haunt the place too, it feels like spitting on the dead.
i was thinking about this too, it’s so cruel
came to the comments looking for this. that certainly was a choice on the state of montana’s part
@@egg9206this state is..... not progressive
If you really think about it. Under some contexts, that's all even active prisons are. Museum's full of exibits of recent Law enforcement situations for that area or state.
I was looking for this comment as soon as they said it
This show has me convinced that animals moving into an abandoned and/or dilapidated building probably account for about 90% of 'ghost' activity
And 10% homeless people squatting in vacant buildings.
Exactly what I was thinking cause the “woman” saying hi in the fan evidence sounded like a cat meowing
@@bonniecarlton3551it was literally the door hinge
animals that have moved in, sagging of the structure causing creeking and noises and things to move, people squatting or hanging out in them, and a pile of other things. But too many are all to ready to call things supernatural or go purely off of "vibes".
@@bonniecarlton3551 the problem with that evidence, and of course we don't have the recording to try and check. but it sounds like that "woman' is actually overlaid over the regular audio. it's louder and more solid sounding than their voices and even covers over their voices a little bit. it doesn't sound like it's in the room with them or someplace beyond them.
Ryan and Shane singlehandedly carrying Montana’s entire Tourism industry on their shoulders.
Ryan shouting "turkey" with his whole chest and being met with silence cracked me up
You should definitely add a timer in the corner of the screen during the solo investigations. It would be nice to know how long has elapsed whilst you wait for responses. May also reduce the number of people who complain about you not giving the ghoulies time to speak ;).
This a great idea!
THIS!!
Great idea!!!
I loveee this idea
super good idea
On today’s episode of ‘Watcher Fashion Police’: Shane is giving Indie Musician who makes denim based art and Ryan is giving Steve Irwin but dealing with ghosts instead of reptiles.

This is not a question, but it needs to be read on Debrief!!
@@waywardmind Thank you!
@@mcarter4421 Haha thank you!
native montanan here- the deerlodge prison is something we're all weirdly knowledgeable about lol we want everyone who visits to know about it, despite all the crazy atrocities and humanitarian issues. apart from it being a museum now, there is also a very cool haunted house/tour held here every year through october that takes you through the entire prison, and you can also pay to spend a night in the prison if you're a ghost hunter or just sociopathic. this one episode will probably carry the tourism industry of montana on its back for the next five years tbh thank you shane and ryan for visiting!
As another native, facts, except we both know when tourists come through, all they know of is Yellowstone.
The juxtaposition in the solo segment between Ryan giving a chilling monologue and Shane having a grand old time exploring never gets old
the fact that they got practically no evidence this time is genuinely impressive, even for me as a skeptic
Legit what I was thinking towards the end of the episode, this season I feel like not much of anything has happened
@jazzo.-. right like mostly everything, if not literally everything😭, has been simple and explainable stuff; tho I don't really mind, i think it just further cements that ghost files is a genuine ghost hunting show with no theatrics and fake evidence
Which makes the fact that they are still entertaining that much more impressive 😄
@1etira01 right like even tho not much has been happening for these past few episodes I'm still always waiting on the edge of my seat every Friday with my little snack ready and everything
@@b4mbidollno
I honestly don't get why so many people are upset at the dynamics change from unsolved to ghost files, expecially this season, I always see people complaining.
1) You can't expect people to remain the same, even with beliefs, especially when said belief gets disputed or at least less scary over time
2) When people say they aren't taking the locations or ghost hunting seriously enough or that there are too many jokes I always think about the goatman's bridge's episode, literally one of the most quoted and iconic and still the least serious episode of them all
3) Would you prefer fake episodes, where you get lied to and Ryan puts on the act of the scaredy cat when he clearly isn't anymore?
Maybe it's because I find it comforting to see that even if ghosts were real they're most likely not interested in communicating or in general not dangerous. And I think I already got my take about it and now I just enjoy getting along for the ride, not really expecting anything and if something unexpected is to happen I would enjoy it even more. Idk, I really dislike when people get all nostalgic when people change, these aren't TV series characters, real people change, and it's endearing being able to witness it
Edit: to anyone saying I'm projecting or some bullshit, it's just that I see these videos literally when they come out. And I react to what I see in the comments. It's not my fault y'all's come a day later and the comments are far lower down in the section
Preach!
well said
the thing is the do spend long time in these locations and remain quiet we just see the best bits as they already stated
This is a perfectly rationale take but it’s incorrect from the POV of content and entertainment. People expected one thing when they watch something. Now they aren’t getting that thing. There’s nothing wrong with not being satisfied with that. Obviously there’s a limit to that which I think you are trying to capture. But It’s also not your place to “dislike” when someone’s expectations aren’t met when those expectations haven’t changed. Thats their own right. And is reasonable. The entertainment value was watching a grown man who believed in ghost be genuinely afraid. In the intro the show is sold as “a skeptic” and “a believer”. How are you not seeing that is no longer what’s on the table? And why that changes the dynamics dramatically? Now it’s two grown men not afraid of things we know dont exist. How interesting does that sound?
It’s why other shows I won’t name have been on for +15 years. Thanks to a little thing called “kayfabe”. So in a way, yes. I do think ppl might want them to “fake it” to a degree. If the alternative is two grown adults bull shitting around for an hour neither one a believer, there’s no contrast. That was THE ENTIRE point. Ppl know other shows “fake it” to a degree and they are still entertaining. Bc therein lies the objective and show- to entertain. I don’t think ppl find it particularly entertaining one of them not as afraid. Hence why Shane keeps stressing “take it seriously”. It’s on brand when Shane makes a mockery of the investigation. Both doing it just makes it an hour long piss take is what I think ppl mean when you see them “upset”.
To be clear, that’s not my position. But it’s incredibly easy to see why people think that. I have a totally different take on this but you seemed to truly not understand so I’m simply providing the objection I think you’d genuinely be open to hearing.
I always figured to take this as a comedy rather than a “real” ghost hunting show. I watch for the dynamics of both people
Shane: I really hope Ryan takes this seriously
Also Shane: speak to the gorilla
I remember watching these guys like 4 to 6 years ago now its insane how far theyve come just doing their own thing
Well after they needed back surgery from carrying Buzzfeed on their backs for years they earned their freedom to do their own thing
@zackyc1841 sooo true. Buzzfeed uses their employees and their ideas until they wake up and realize they’re being screwed over. There are a few RUclipsrs that are prior buzzfeed employees and are now doing great solo
The ghoul boys got me through the second half of high school and all of college idk what I’d have done without them lol
I petition for Boo Buddy to be updated to sneeze so we can catch some polite ghosts
I would like to add my signature to the petition
Honestly a great idea
this would work on me
Shane: "we are serious and professional ghost hunters"; also Shane: "let's stick our faces against the bars and gobble"
I don’t think think the word “gobble” fully captures the glorious noises they were making
22:46 this sink straight up looks like a puppet history character
I love how the only time I’ve seen shayne so engaged to decipher what the spirit box said- like mans eyes were lit up- is when he though it said ape meaning there were gorillas in the building lmaoo. 12:10
I also felt the visceral anger Shane expressed when he found out about the "Orb People" 😂
Him calling them “orb people” was hilarious.
Ryan saying he didnt invite odb people nearly killed me with laughter
@@thephantom2manI'd be stoked if someone called me Old Dirty Bastard... 🤣
@@DystopianApocalypseI see what you did, there! 😂
The way the solo investigation map shows Shane’s circle as a little bigger, gives me a chuckle every time.
I KNOW RIGHT I LOVE IT
I feel like it gets bigger by episode 😂
I love itttt
For then debrief: When Shane opened and closed the solitary confinement door, it sounded like the exact pitch of the “Hi” evidence. Especially since it was in amongst other people talking, maybe a door was moved?
it sounded like a cat to me lol
I SCREAMED when I saw this pop up in my subscriptions!! My dad grew up in Deer Lodge, and my grandpa was a guard at the prison! I’ve been there every time we went to go visit my grandparents, and grandpa would give tours of the prison. One time he jokingly “locked” me and my cousins in solitary. It was probably only for a couple seconds, but we were so scared it felt like minutes lmao.
Loved this so much! And my dad was super stoked to see some spotlight on his hometown!
You know you’ve made it big when a whole STATE sponsors your episode 😂
and then theres the pessimistic take, which is montana is so desperate for attention that they need the GHOUL BOYS to save them which is equally funny.
@@carlwheezerofsouls3273I wonder how much they paid the ghoul boys for it

it’s so crazy seeing how much ryan has changed from buzz feed unsolved , going from being terrified to having a little giggle so proud
well hes still terrified
I just want ryan to know that I literally took a handful of popcorn just as he broke the fourth wall asking if we were eating popcorn.
36:28 The “hi” did sound more like a high pitch fart that no one wanted to admit to
Exactly the same thought! Laughable idea, yes, but people on social media have been calling out any paranormal show/crew to the point Ghost Adventures points out their own "bodily noises" now.
Appreciate people still being logical.
Ryan having a panic attack over a ghost thud and all the equipment breaking simultaneously while Shane talks about the nice plaque is very on brand for both of them

as much as i don’t believe in ghosts, i would still be spooked in the dark by myself. impressive as usual with how completely unbothered shane is
My biggest fear if I went on a ghost hunt is that I would encounter a living human who attempts to kill me. Like a serial killer or something
Well, you see, Shane is a demon. So, he need not fear; for he is far darker
@@averythesuperhero Agreed. My thoughts exactly.
@@averythesuperhero that's why I think Shane is unhinged (don't get me wrong, I love him for it, but he's kind of crazy), in the goatman episode he was completely unbothered by noises they heard in the woods at night in the middle of nowhere. I get not being afraid of ghosts, but especially out in the woods there can be people and animals that definitely *can* hurt/kill you.
@@georgiasoaps i will say that as someone who used to live literally 5 minutes from goatman's bridge, its actually right next to a suburban area, with the trail itself being a public-access greenbelt. there's lot of small critters that hang around there, like rabbits, armadillos, and even deer, that are all even more active at night. so, i doubt there was anything malicious out there haha. needless to say, i do agree that its really impressive shane is QUITE unbothered even by old dilapidated places where people died horrifically, i dont get how hes so chill about it LOL
If I ever became president I would absolutely have shane and ryan come investigate the white house just to hear them yell at the spirits of past presidents throughout the night 😂

As a new teacher, I really resonated with Ryan’s reaction to Shane immediately breaking the 30 seconds of quiet.
To be fair Shane feels like he is hunting the spaghetti monster. Hard for him to be serious
I was going to say its like getting my four year olds to settle down for rest after lunch lol
For the Debrief: Ryan, has your belief in ghosts increased or decreased since becoming a paranormal investigator?
i really like this question, you should put it under the pinned comment so they might see it better.
Also Ryan: Where did you get those dope looking boots?
Had the same question, seems it is decreased.
@@mozes88 Can't imagine its not decreased. If you go along with the theory that ghosts are real and exist in certain places, then going to those specific places over and over and seeing nothing to prove they exist is compelling that they don't exist. Welcome🎉
I love how this show is getting more professional with the technology and so forth and at the same time feels more hand made (the whole sneezing and banter). These guys are awesome.
Shane saying “we’d probably get just as much evidence.” To Ryan saying Zombie Files was gold. 😂😂
i kind of miss the bits where Ryan & Shane share their thoughts on pieces of evidence they would catch. it was one of my favorite bits cause the back and forth were hilarious.
Yeah me too. I miss them talking about what the evidence could mean or getting their reactions
I agree with that. Maybe Buzzfeed patented the concept of listening to stuff later 😁
@@iamsnehanairi feel like they're more focused on being entertaining than the investigation now
I second this. Also, in the unsolved episodes their dynamic is different. Ryan is the one who's genuinely scared while Shane is the one making jokes and pranking Ryan, their chemistry is the one that carried the show but now they are both goofing at the same time, Shane is not annoyed by the spirit box anymore, Ryan is not genuinely terrified as he used to and the gadgets they used are simpler yet it brings better reaction for both of them. I felt like there's something missing, maybe I'm just missing the old formula.
@@frozenlicks maybe because they have done ghost hunting for many years now Ryan is not as afraid as he was before? Which is understandable, during their first few years ghost hunting with Buzzfeed Unsolved, they were just starting out, still fairly new to the experience. But they've been ghost hunting for so long now, and when you have been doing the same thing over & over again for many years, it becomes repetitive, naturally you can become so accustomed to it that it doesn't phase you as much as before. I'm sure Ryan is still scared of ghosts & spirits overall, but he is so used to ghost hunting by now that changes in his behavior is inevitable. Same goes for Shane. Their antics are still fun to watch, but you can't expect their behaviors to be exactly the same as they were many years ago when they were still basically beginners, they are alot more experienced now.
for shane (but ryan too)... as skeptical boogara, whats the scariest/most uncomfortable place you have been? or the place you feel has the most potential to be truly haunted?
Imagine being Lee and Jerry living their lives as ghosts when one day these two guys come up to investigate and one of them starts acting like a gorilla 😂
Loved the episode as always!
I was thinking that as they were making turkey noises 😂
I agree with Shane, the Shrek-test is incredibly important and should always be used in all investigations.
Ghosts are like onions.
I swear if this doesn't become a staple test I'll riot 😂
Shane riling up the ghosts in the dark while Ryan has an existential crisis in a well-lit room is exactly why I eagerly wait for the episodes of Ghost Files.
As someone who has watched from the beginning I will never get over Ryan's gradual transformation from holy-water-clenching "please I can't do this", to confidently yelling "I'M GONNA SHIT ON THESE GHOSTS" before even getting there. I can't tell if I'm proud or concerned but either works.
Imagine being a ghost, still locked in your cell and two grown men puts their faces against your cell bars while they make turkey sounds at you. 🤣 I probably wouldn't let myself know either if I was a ghost. 🤣🤣
Ryan shouting "THE HOLE!" over the walkie during his solo investigation sounded so much like the little aliens from Toy Story saying "the claw!" 😂
OoooOOOoo!
i was just thinking about this lmao
Shane's right, they are different. Ghosts are the disembodied soul or spirit of someone who's passed on. Zombies are reanimated bodie's who's souls have moved on. So technically, someone could be a ghost and a zombie at the same time.
True.

Sounds like an interesting anime concept.

That one was great especially for evidence. It's up there with old city jail
Remember that priest in the first episode of unsolved supernatural? Imagine what he would say if he saw them offering the ghost of a murderous cannibalistic satanist chicken bones.

Lucky for Ryan I'm a Shaniac who has been a night manager of this hotel for 2 years and hasn't seen ANYTHING 🤣
DEBRIEF EVIDENCE YOU MISSED: they managed to miss the finishing of shave and a haircut 16:47-16:51 when Ryan got the stomping right.
21:28 Shane saying "high five, we're alive" is *INSANE* and I just need people to appreciate this *gem*
How to know your channel is doing well: you get sponsored by an ENTIRE STATE. Congratulations Ghoul Boyz!!! So proud of all the work and long nights you've put in to build this reputation
43:38 Shane gets wild there for a second 😂😂😂 “you’re going to scream”
Please remember Ryan, yeah there may be most of us on our couches saying "we could totally do that!", but some of us are saying "we wish we could do that!"
So please do it for us that can't! 💪 you've got this! ❤
Also for debrief: would you guys ever consider using some sort of heart monitor? I think it would be fun to see how your heart rates change throughout an investigation, for example maybe Ryan's would be slightly higher and Shane's maybe lower, or even the opposite in some scary moments. It would be fun!
Love from Portugal
Monitoring the heart rate is useless unless they are sitting quietly and not talking. Standing, walking and talking all mess the heart rate up
this gets suggested every episode
@@moth1560 awesome
@@ONKVP it would've spiked when Ryan saw those figures though which would've been funny
Oh this would be SO good - from someone who is wearing on this month and getting constantly reminded by it that I’m getting literally too overstimulated that I get woozy 😂
Ryan calling the devil a lil b and scurrying away like a little goblin is true comedy right here
Ryan: “There’s a skeleton popping up… it’s doing a funny little dance.”
Shane: “Choke me!” 😂
26:13
Damn this episode is just you guys lecturing us 😭🤣🤣🤣 I can’t! “Is this entertainment to you!!” And Ryan is like “You can never do it!”
The energy in this episode felt like it was a whole new level of unhinged
I felt like they were both angry and didn't want to be there.
THE HOOOOOOOOOOLLLEEEE
That "hi" is for sure the creak of the big door to that room, when Shane opened and closed it, it made a very similar sound.
yeah, it made the same kind of pitch
The first thing I thought was "That's a squeaky fart if I ever heard one."
I was thinking it sounded more like a cat meowing that might have snuck into the building
@@bonniecarlton3551you don’t think the girls talking in the same room as a cat…. Would notice the cat
"WE ARE PROFESSIONAL GHOST HUNTERS" also them "WOW x 20" LMFAO
the "hi" sounds like a meow in the evp elizabeth sent
How the hell does a RUclipsr get sponsored by a enitre STATE?!? Goes to show the production quality and experience here are unmatched! Thank you for creating such incredible content for us!
Well to be fair there’s like ten people in the whole state, so
@@jonsnow5907😂
It’s the state’s tourism agency likely sponsoring the video to promote the prison. Not really that crazy tbh
@@loganbaileysfunwithtrains606 Yes, we know that, and I believe this isn't the first time Montana has sponsored someone in this way, relatively, but it's still awesome to see none-the-less :)
Them putting their faces to the bars and gobbling basically captured the essence of this show in one scene
Always cracks me up that shanes circle is like 50% bigger than ryans, its such a funny detail it always makes me chuckle
not ryan accidentally bringing up a fear that has plagued me for years which is hearing a disembodied "bless you" after i sneeze
For Postmortem: first of all, im a staunch boo-gara. But i wanna know how it feels to know that even when these locales don't produce a ton, or any, compelling evidence, you still have so many people who tune in just to see your faces! Love you guys!
I watch with hopes that this will be the time that Shane experiences something crazy that he can’t explain, like something pulling on him or scratching him. His reaction would be priceless.😂
I think you're supposed to ask under their pinned comment.
shane: *“isn’t life* _wonderful_*?”*
ryan: *“i hate my life”*
As someone who was born and raised in Montana, I'm so glad that more people are starting to learn about my home state.
Remember how Ryan started this season with, "I'm just gonna remain calm and go to a peaceful place not be all Crazy Ryan."
That lasted for an episode 😂
I love how, when Shane was happily exploring and admiring the view and the light snowfall, Ryan was quietly having an existential crisis.😂
For debrief : The "Hi" from Elizabeth's evidence is - clear as day - a god damn fart. The kind of high-pitched fart that you desperately try to hold in and fail. Lmao the person just didn't want to admit it because everyone went "OH MY GOD DID YOU HEAR THAT?!"
Also: the front-facing camera and headgear make Shane look like Naruto
that is 100% what it is lmao
Blame it on the ghosts not the dog
that's no creaky hinge, definitely someone letting out a little toot
You can also see Elizabeth trying not to laugh when she mentioned that
52:50 THIS IS MY HOLE! IT WAS MADE FOR ME!
33:06 "it's unclear if it was the pipes" nah, it's clear it was the pipes. What's not clear is if Shane or a ghoul touched them
For debrief: Do you think everyone becomes a ghost or just people with particularly tragic history? If so, what do you think the threshold is to be tragic enough to qualify for Ghost-dom?
If everyone became a ghost, there would be hauntings all over the damn place. It would be insane. And the ones that do become a ghost... We don't even know if they were ever a person at all. Could be residual haunting or something we haven't even thought of. If they actually were people trapped in a house they would act absolutely insane - but ghosts don't. Their actions don't suggest this at all. Even the "demonic" ones don't go anywhere near as insane as someone would if they were trapped inside a house forever, so the theory is weak. People always act like they have ghosts figured out when we don't have any idea what they are, it's just a phenomena we can't explain.
the running theme seems to be "unfinished business" or you don't know you're dead. Maybe there's even an aspect of how "bad" of a person you were? Is there some bureaucracy in the afterlife? Ghost DMV wait times must be insane
@@natalie_v0.1 maybe hell is just one neverending waiting line (like in SPN) so becoming a ghost is the lesser of evils
I think that each of us has a soul or spirit, and that ghosts are those spirits that get trapped in a parallel dimension and can sometimes perceive and interact with ours. I loved in this episode the example of fingers poking through two hands like a ghost poking through. 👻
Yeah in my culture we pray in order for people to cross into the after life it’s like a week long maybe I’m not sure but they do so and let the person know they aren’t alive anymore and should rest in peace ❤
10:57 POV: two cats having a interesting conversation
55:42 shane was so funny and real for this bahbafhdjhjhf
Thanks for visiting us at the Old Montana Prison. And thanks for signing my book. 😊
