THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SLOW DEMONSTRATIONS. THEY REALLY ARE GREAT AT HELPING ME TO LEARN WITHOUT THE STRESS AND ANXIETY. MY FRUSTRATION IS GREATLY REDUCED ❤😂
I’ve just watched two of your videos, the single and double crochet. I tried watching “how to crochet “ videos a couple of years ago and ended up with a BUNCH of yarn. I can honestly say after watching the double crochet video, I feel as though I can crochet a scarf with fringe. Thank you for considering the newbies and adjusting your teaching style accordingly!
I used to crochet a lot until I started suffering from severe migraines and they found out I have MS and memory loss which made me forget how to crochet. I started watching your crochet videos last night.. Thank you!! Thank you for posting videos that are easy to follow, taking your time in the videos to explain where to put stitches and the encouraging words not get get frustrated and give up ❤..
I don’t usually leave reviews , however, I am so impressed with your patience and teaching skills. You are articulate and go over the process and steps to make it understandable… I’ve been looking at like videos as I am a beginner… you are by far the best at teaching …. And realizing your audience need the steps taught to them slowly.. one question that has come up for me several times now… sometimes I get confused wether i should be crocheting right through the chain or just on a face of the chain your facing? (Front part of the ‘V”). It looked like when you were showing us the last stitch and the hole to go through it looked like just the front of the “V” yet the rest of the chain you went straight through the whole link of the chain. Maybe I didnt’ see it correctly. Sorry if the question sounds confusing. Thank you … your great!
You are a fantastic teacher. Thank you for going slow. Your single stich video was perfect for me. I practiced with a whole ball of yarn my mother had rolled. She passed away in January 2020 and was amazing at crocheting. She made all kinds of things and they looked professional. I inherited all of her crochet needles and books and yarn, so I am learning. You're helping me heal from her loss through teaching me her craft. Thank you!
Hi, I love your videos! I am a seasoned crocheter but sometimes you need a refresh especially if you have not used that stitch in a long time. Like a slip stitch. You are very clear and concise and that is extremely helpful for a beginner. I refer your vids often, when someone in my FB groups asks for a good teacher. Thank you for being generous and sharing.
Hi! I've just started trying to learn to crochet, and I just wanted to say that your beginner videos are the best of their kind that I've found so far! The fact that you show how to hold the yarn, turn the needle etc as well as the stitches really saved the day for me. Thank you so much!
i just wanted to say thank you so much for making these videos they're the only ones I've found that I can really follow and understand, they're extremely helpful
I just wanted to say thank you for all the info that you have provided for us. I have suffered a minor brain 🧠 stroke due to Covid-19. So now I’m having trouble with remembering how to Crochet but I was a bad mamma gamma back in the day. I’m hoping to be back to the top of my health one ☝🏽 day soon.
Finally! A lesson I can understand. Your going slowly has really helped. Didn't know if whether the tail goes on the left or right when beginning. Thanks for this lesson. Would like a lesson on single crochet. I know it is very easy (if you know it.) Had problem knowing where to start when turning but you lesson helped....
I've just started crocheting like a week ago just after wathing one of your tutorials. And I absolutely love it. Thank you for showing it slowly so that I can keep learning. Your tutorials rock!
Very helpful! I learned to crochet from my Grandmother over 40 years ago and did some since then, but never learned the names of the stitches it could explain what I was doing!! Now I see it was mostly the double crochet!
Hi! I noticed some people who teach the double crochet chain 3 versus 2 and go into the 2nd stitch as opposed to the 1st. Does this just depend on the pattern we may be following or preference?
Great video thank you. I watched one video (Single Crochet Stitch) three days ago and thought I got this and ordered things on amazing got it yesterday and just in two days watching your videos I can now single and double stitch with ease. Iv watched others but something about yours made it click so thank you.
@@KristinsCrochetTutorials One week down and Iv already made two Amigurumi Whales and making my own patters to alter them to how I like them all thanks to this one video of yours I watched.
I've learnt more in the past half hour than in the past week trying to follow other tutorials, you are right to the 'untrained eye' it is difficult just to know exactly where the chains being and etc, looking forward to more ....
So glad I found these videos. I'm just starting out crocheting. I do kinda wish you had a popcorn stitch tutorial also. What sparked my interest in crochet is seeing all the things people can make. Toys mainly, but afghans and scarves look really pretty. Also everything is better hand-made. Thank you so much for making these tutorials. 😃
I have a great teacher, but with the social distancing, we can't always get together! I'm SO GLAD I found your videos 😊. Thanks for your time and help ❣️😷😃
Hey Im Kristin with an I also! 😊 Unlike many "tutorials" Your videos ARE beginner friendly! Clearly visible, well explained, & slow paced. THANK YOU! I would love to share pics of what I've created of crochet thanks to ur help
Thanks you are a good teacher now i understand how to start the rest i know i watch this video a couples of time to know how to do the Knott thanks again
I absolutely loved your 2 tutorials for beginners. I just started to crochet for the 1st time and you have the only tutorials which I was able to understand what the heck I was doing I now can do a single and double crochet. Where can I find more of your youtube tutorials for beginners with using the crochet thread vs. yarn. Big Thank you.
I love your videos! It’s helped me out a lot in learning how to crochet. One problem I do have is as I practice doing the double stitch crochet my yarn starts to unwind. Is there another yarn you recommend that doesn’t unwind that I can practice with?
Your tutorial is the best. Your teaching is very easy to understand especially like newbies like me. Again thank you. Keep doing what you are doing. God bless you.
Thank you. Great video! I am very much a newbie and watched another double crochet stitch video and at the end of a row they added three stitches then went into the second hole after the turn. Does that make sense? Why the difference if they are both double stitch? Thank you.
Thank you for such a great video! I would like to start out doing a simple blanket using this stitch in the Bernat Blanket Yarn. I’m making the blanket for my adult son. How long should my chain be? And how many skeins do you suggest?
i’ve learned everything from your videos. you have a great way of explaining things! i’m sad to see you haven’t uploaded in a while ): hope you’re going well thank you!
Now I know why people crochet fast...so they don't pass out...or is it just me that holds my breath while completing each step until stitch is complete😵💫😂😂...great tutorials...I'm feeling more confident with each i achieve...thanku ❤
I love your crochet tutorials I feel like a master already thank you so much also can you do the French endings with other crochets and do you have any videos about terms in crocheting
Why do you chain three at the beginning of the first row after you complete your chain row? I thought with a DC you counted the amount of chains you want to them only add two chains since it’s a DC.
So when going through the "bumps"..when looking down at it seeing your "v" s do you go completely under the V or do you just go behind the top piece of yarn??? Does that even make sense? It's just kinda hard to see from the video angle
Hi, just started learning crochet yesterday. Now I think I'm doing the second row wrong. You chain two, grab the yarn and go through the first hole... But do you go through the front part of the loop or both? If that makes sense
I didn’t find the information that you said you were gonna leave for the Knit Crate. I need the link so I can order some yarn. Now this yarn is gonna be good to use for wraps and blankets?
Probably a super beginner question, but do you have to use a double or triple? They seem like a faster way to complete your project, but is it necessary for seemingly simple things like blankets?
Question: When I do a DS row and then I want to do a single stitch row, how many do I chain between the row, one or two? Example, doing a single stitch row, you chain one. Doing a DS row, you chain two. Thank you in advance
Very helpful, but I have a question. Is this correct: after you finish your second row, you chain 2, then flip your work, then you go into 3rd chain from your hook, not including counting the chain on your hook?? If anyone knows the answer, please answer. I would appreciate it so much!
Ive watched a lot of these and I'm about to lose my mind, but you are absolutely the best I've seen. thank you.
Hi, yours is the third tutorial that I watched...the really slow one! I finally got it! Thanks so much !

@@RainyDaze219 after a little bit of experience. You take your hook all of the way under the "v" or the braid.
