- In this video we share with you this beautiful State Park in West Virginia called Hawks Nest State Park, located in the north end of the New River Gorge Area. We share with you our adventure there along with some useful information you may need while planning your trip there. We also go inside the north end of the New River Gorge National Park, where the New River Gorge Bridge is located. This engineering marvel is a sight to see. It's the 3rd highest vehicular bridge in the world (876ft/267m). And of course, one of our favorite things to see while traveling is waterfalls, and we see a few this day as well. Enjoy!

The fall colors here are amazing! Such a beautiful area. I have never been to West Virginia, but I would love to see New River Gorge. The state parks were very nice that you visited and I always love the waterfalls.

That is so cool that they have prizes you can win for checking in at more waterfalls across the state. It is always cool to just find a waterfall on the side of the road. We were just in Tennessee last week and drove past a couple waterfalls that were just off to the side of the road. We loved seeing them. That bridge is impressive. Hi Melissa nice to see part 2 of this. Love Cathedral Falls and Mill Creek Falls, they are both gorgeous and great that you can collect the stickers, the kids will enjoy that, I know ours would have, especially our daughter ! That Waterfall on the side of the road was good to see too and the restaurant had amazing views. We would have enjoyed the old railroad trail as well, the autumn colours were so beautiful there . Loved the photo of you all, and that new bridge, the 3rd highest vehicular one in the world was amazing and beautiful. Great video again, thanks for taking us along ! ~ Anna 👍

Didn't know about the waterfall viewing program. We didn't stop at Hawks Nest State Park, but it looks like a great park to visit next time we are there. Love the view from the Hawk's Nest. Gorgeous fall colors. There are a lot of waterfalls in the area that are worth exploring. We didn't spend near enough time in that area. We did go to the New River Gorge NP, and loved it. It was so pretty too.
Yeah the waterfall passport idea was really neat, never seen anything like that before, and we just love waterfalls so we signed up, lol.New River Gorge NP was a awesome park to visit, glad you enjoyed it as well! Awesome tour of the area, Melissa. Beautiful falls. Raining! No problem. Those views of the gorge while at lunch were beautiful. Cool rail trail. That was neat how the tree just grew around the timber and the rock. Pretty neat. Oh wow, that bridge was amazing. I saw another video recently where you can walk the cat walk underneath it for a fee. Pretty awesome. All around great trip. Take care.

Can't get enough of the fall colors. Beautiful state park! The trail leading to the falls is so gorgeous! The visitor center got some incredible views! I enjoyed seeing the bridge. It looks so cool! Take care guys, and have a happy holiday!

Wow wow wow 🤩 the cascading waterfall with the fall leaves was breathtaking 😮 Loving all of these fall views! Does it still look like this in WV? Here in Erie PA we don’t have any leaves left in the trees.
I doubt it still looks that green there, we went back in october so I am sure all of there leaves have fallen as well :)
I swear I just was by the New River in North Carolina. I wonder if it is the same river? I have not been to WV in a long time. It is such a beautiful place.
