I am not surprised to learn that Glade Creek Grist Mill is the most photographed place in West Virginia. I have definitely seen pictures of it before. It is so beautiful - especially with the fall colors. The views from the two trails you hiked were lovely too. We are going to add this to our bucket list. West Virginia looks so beautiful but we have only driven through it. We haven't really stopped here. We probably need to change that soon! Thanks for taking us along!

In the cooler months the leaves change to this beautiful orange yellow and reds, then they all fall off and look like sticks till the spring. Its very lovely to watch :) Thanks so much for watching friend!
Hey Melissa this state park was gorgeous, everywhere you take us is gorgeous actually ! But this is good because its free to enter and you can camp in a grist mill , that would be such fun :) Loved the waterfalls and that beautiful 1970s grist mill . The boys were having a great time ! The island in the sky trail was beautiful with the views from the top of the cliffs and the autumn / falls leaves were stunning near the lake Boley trail and then the vista view of the mountains near the end was fantastic . Very nice! We hit up this place recently in October and I can say we will return. Such a beautiful area. Love the history which I did not research, which is interesting. It was the first snowfall, kinda sleet for the season when we were there. Thanks for sharing. My video will be out but probably not for a month or two.
This area is a photographers dream! Everywhere you look there's a something beautiful to capture. Thanks for taking with you on the trails too! Colorful hikes with spectacular views. We didn't make it to Babcock either when we were in the area. Guess we didn't see much. Well, actually we were just passing through and only had an evening to see anything. The Gristmill replica is cool. The trail had some gorgeous colors and those vistas were pretty. Bet the boys loved that they had to walk through the rock tunnel. Boley Lake is so pretty too.
