The preparations are underway for the coronation of King Charles III at the Royal Mews and Sinead is going to share some of the details with you.
See Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III's cars, the uniforms royal drivers must wear, and the interior courtyard of Buckingham Palace, not often seen by the public. You'll get up close to the incredible Golden State Coach which will be carrying the King and Queen to the coronation on the 6th of May 2023 and even meet the horses who will be pulling them!

I am American but I always heard that coach was called "Old Bones" because it was said to rattle your bones when you rode in it. As a child I had a small plastic replica of it that I wish I still had. I am so looking forward to the coronation since I was a baby when Queen Elizabeth was crowned.

I was watching you video about coaches and I live in the USA and only see the coaches on very rare occasions. I never though about where they were kept and the horses and the men and women that care for the horses. Watching this I thought what an amazing thing and all the houses and so many coaches. After watching this I thought it's a whole city where they are kept, the horses and the coaches and the riders. It's amazing to me that I never knew there was so much involved. Thank you so much for a little education.

In 2002 I had the pleasure of seeing the Queen in the Golden carriage for her Golden Jubilee. I remember filming Prince Harry and I gave him a little wave and he smiled at me. When I planned my trip to London, Paris and Amsterdam I had no idea this was going on. Thank God we couldn't get the train to Paris until the afternoon. We stayed at the Strand Palace hotel and saw the entire procession to St. Paul's cathedral.

They are so beautiful. The horses are too. It’s great to actually see these types of carriages that you read in Regency type books. Thank you for showing this. I’m sure visitors do not get to see all that you got to video. That one that looks almost solid gold is a work of art. I’m surprised they do not have a guard there for safety.

I really enjoyed touring the Royal Mews along with Buckingham Palace. I was struck by the Gold State Coach and had to wonder how they ever get it out of there since there are no obvious doors!
