There is a heck of a lot of content in this vlog, Fitzrovia was one of my favourite places to work in london and me and my Irish mate used to sit in the road at tea break's and marvel at the multitude of beautiful women in Mortimer street and the area Fitzrovia is quite unique, thank you for this vlog cheers.

Such beautiful areas, and the history is fascinating.Thank you for this Sinead!! ❤️🇨🇦
A pleasure as always
Sinead
As usual very good picture quality. I wish more people would film in 60fps like yourself.
Thank you for this comment
I always worry about the filming
I love pub tours please do a full tour of all the historic pubs. X
Oh you might be psychic...
Good to see you Sinead and a great video. I love Fitzrovia and worked on Tavistock Square in the late 2000s, so know the area very well. I used to work in the art deco Adelphi building in John Adam Street off The Strand! Apparently the BT Tower has been sold and will be converted to a hotel. Before you got to Queen Charlotte St and lovely gardens if you look up at the houses you can see where they were repaired from bomb damage in WW2, expect the gardens had houses once. It’s such a great area to visit with so much history and character. Bedford Square is lovely, another Street which was my favourite was Marchmont Street where Carry On actor Kenneth Williams lived. Have definitely learnt a lot more from your video and look forward to your next one.
Thank you for the wonderful comment
Truly flattered to receive this from a local to the area
Sinead
A delightfully bourgeois des res.
It truly is
Truly enjoyed going along with you in Fitzrovia. I love the bits of history and the interesting places you include! Thank you so much for filming your walk.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great to see and hear you back on RUclips, Sinead. I agree what you say about Fitzrovia. How I imagine village life in London. How I wish Soho looks but doesn't. Michael Bentine is pronounced Ben-teen. Also, Dylan Thomas - the H is silent.
Thank you lovely for the additional info
Good to be back , I missed it
Sinead
Fantastic
Thanks Patrick
Marvellous your Back Sinead
Marvellous video.
😊🏴☠️
Good to be back Alan
I want to move into the Fitzroy Tavern & sit on a sofa by the fire & watch the afternoon go by.

So delighted to be back and chatting with you all
Sinead
Thank you for the tour Sinead! The Fitzroy tavern looked amazing!
My new favourite place
Sinead
always enjoy your walking tours. there is so much to see in England. Lots of history and great culture, and even great food. What with the "replacement" royals of the original family, [soon, there will be a young king ], one has to find pleasure in the rest of England. you still look fabulous and you have a great knowledge and presentation . by the way, your other business partners are also good at giving tours.
Thank you sincerely
Luke these compliments mean the world x
anther terrific london tour video sinead you are the best take care.
You’re too kind
Thank you
Another great video .. I love all the history of London ❤
Glad you liked this one, Pamela!

Sinead, would you consider doing a tour of the universities and all the hospitals in that area. Some of the buildings are really old, and beautiful, and the hospitals are world class.
Sounds like a great idea
I need to cover much more in the area and Bloomsbury too

What a way to go Sinead, drowning in beer. !

Good Morning Sinead, here in the US, getting ready for work, but wanting to take a guided walk instead.

No! Around here, it is kind of blah; snow one day, 50 degrees Fahrenheit the next. @@FreeToursbyFootLondon

Sinead
You do a great job with your videos! Thank you.
Thank you Joan
Thanks!
Thank you sincerely x
Hi Sinead, I really enjoy your videos. I’ve just returned from a long-anticipated week in our wonderful London, I was in heaven just wandering the streets exploring the history. I didn’t do Fitzrovia Tavern but instead another famous one the Lamb and Flag which also had a real fire and a great old-fashioned atmosphere with a very delicious lunch. Fed my soul also in that wonderful week!
So delighted you enjoyed the video and your time in London
Love The Lamb and Flag
Sinead
Loved your video .have been in the pollock’s museum back in the eighties . ❤️
Disappointed it wasn’t open
Sinead
Just back from work and settled on the sofa, enjoying this right now x
The ultimate compliment
Hope you enjoyed x
Sinead
@@FreeToursbyFootLondon if you want to come down for a day for a recce I can show you around x
Hi Sinead...great to see U back...will you do a tv tour ....if U could show us where tv shows were filmed....that would be great
That’s a great idea Sabrina and a movie tour perhaps
Please revisit when is blooming. Love my gardens 🌸
Spring blooms to come :)
Worked in Bedford Square, Frederick Warne the publishers of Beatrix Potter had their building at No.12, I think.
That's great extra info - thank you for sharing!
Thank you Sinead for yet another great tour. Just to ask, where do people who live in these large georgian houses park their cars, there are obviously no attached garages and the street parking is very limited. I have often wondered.
Parking in London is a nightmare! Some will have permits that allow them to park on local streets.
I love love love Dickens
Then you’ll love his museum
Whoa😂❤
❤️
Hi Sinead, awesome live video walk tour I enjoyed it. How are you doing? I'm doing well and so is my cat Benjamin. We like watching your videos. There always enjoyable. Have a great day see you next video 😊

@FreeToursbyFootLondon somehow I stopped getting your vids even though I'd clicked personalised, got you back, missed your jolly tours

The Post Office Tower, the most visible secret building ever built, it was not marked on the London A-Z nor did it have a postal address or a postcode when first opened as a telecoms centre. Has recently been sold and the new owners want to turn it into a Hotel, if planning granted we may have a return of the revolving restaurant.
Just read this recently Tony
Would love to get to the top
Sinead
❤❤❤💕
It’s so sad that Pollock’s Toy Museum will not be located there anymore.
I know Kathy can’t believe it was closed
Sinead
❤❤❤❤
Glad you liked this one!
how about pub tours, especially in certain neighborhoods or vintage pubs.
💯 on the cards Mark
Sooo many beautiful ones to show you all
Sinead
Good afternoon
Hi Dodi 👋
👍 👍
Where abouts was the brewery on Tottenham Court Road that you mentioned and what is there today in it's place?
It was The Meux Brewery on Tottenham Court Road at 269 I believe it’s now The Dominion Theatre
Pollocks museum looks like they have a temporary home at Croydon as per their website.
Apparently so
Do research on Rittenhouse Square, Washington Square, and Fitler Square
in Philadelphia...thought you might enjoy seeing these, albeit online!!xx
I’ll have a look Lawrie x
7:54 , Is that a purple door? more like violet? somebody important must live there.
The bomb was in the viewing deck below the restaurant area i know because i was there the week before with my mum pollocks are looking for new premises i get monthly updates from thier website so when they find somewhere i will be amongst the first to know
Keep me posted Mark
@@FreeToursbyFootLondon I will as soon as I hear anything
And let the Cràic commence.
Oh it’s starting 💚
Hi Sinead! I love London and I love your vids. One thing about this one; wasn’t Henry Fitzroy an illegitimate son of Henry VIII and not Charles II? 😊
Was that a Freudian slip on my part
Hard to keep up with the illegitimate children of Kings x
Actually, they ALL have!
Don't forget you can get a lovely cup of Rosy Lee at you local boozer in London
Of course Nils
Will be promoting from now on
Sinead
Beautiful video as always, but you are getting some of the years wrong
I am ?
@@FreeToursbyFootLondon Virginia Woolf lived from 1882-1941 but lived in that house only between 1907-1911
Hitlers Bro didn’t get a blue plaque I noticed 🥸🤣
Shocker 😂
Sinead so happy to see you ❤ just seen that in USA, Alabama has decided that frozen embryos are children, women are not allowed to have them back, or take them out of state for ivf treatment 😢that's fing kidnapping by the state isn't it?
Wonderful thank you but why do the roads and streets in the United kingdom smell of wee in 2024
Hadn’t noticed to be honest
