I have never seen these royal coach and carriage exhibits in this royal stable and museum! Such a delight! I appreciate all the gorgeous coaches utilized by the royal family for over 100 years! And the small carriages were great to see and know the history. Great narrative of history and who rode in the coaches and carriages. Thank you for showing the interiors. So beautiful. The blue velvet and tufted seating with blue velvet lined walls and ceiling. I would feel like royalty just sitting in these. And my favorite is the coach of the hour - the coronation coach. 4 tons. I imagine those glorious wonderful 8 horses were strong indeed. I love the gorgeous gilded detail and the construction designed and developed by the greatest of artisans and artists. The mannequins on the horses looked like real living men! I imagine they are wax figures. The facial features are amazing! Oh and Jaden certainly has that royal wave down pat!! I was thinking that he would put on one of the coach groom jackets and pose for us. 👏🎬 Blessings.

Thanks Luana, each coach is wonderful in its own way and I know what you mean - just to sit in one! That strength of the horses is immense to pull that 4 ton coach! Yes he loved doing that but wasn't so keen on the dressing up. Looking to go again to see the Royals Cars that they use. 😄👍

I think Rudolph should take the royal coaches for a spin with permission of course. 😊 I really appreciate royal history and tradition. Thank you for sharing.❤😊❤

I can't believe they have a coach 😳 that takes the mail back and forth each day, that is crazy. It sounds like some of these coaches have barely been used. I liked the little one that Queen 👸 Victoria used to go round the gardens, a nice, little fun 😀 one. The gold coach is just amazing in the details though I had heard that it was uncomfortable 😳. The diamond 💎 jubilee coach was also spectacular. I feel so bad for the horses who have to pull the coaches. Even with training and rehearsals it must be tough on them. I never knew about the brake though not that it's a very efficient one if it takes that long to stop. I think

I know all that tradition that still happens. Can you imagine those poor 🐎 pulling that weight, incredible. Yes Jaden loved it, and got that wave perfected! 👍😀

They use a 19th century Brougham to carry non classified documents between Whitehall and Buckingham Palace.

The horses in the royal stables have excellent veterinary care and have an annual 'holiday' usually near the sea. At the end of their service life they go into rural retirement.
The small carriage that carries mail the short distance between Buckingham and St James' Palaces is far from being 'crazy' - horse drawn carriages do not add to air pollution.

The Coronation carriage is so opulent. Four tons? Good grief. The best carriage? The one with the young royal Jaden in it 🤴🏽

😂🐎🐎 It is just incredible at 4 tons! Jaden loved his waving and practice to perfect 😂😀👍
