For the price, right now, yes probably! I got mine for 1700 on ebay. Very happy with it so far. 3080ti has been very satisfactory for the games I'm playing
I got one for $1550. It's not the best condition cosmetics-wise on the lid. Thermal paste job isn't that great on mine though. What is your score with the 12900HX in Cinebench R23 without undervolting? How much power draw according to HWInfo? And are you constantly hitting 100C on CPU in the multi-core benchmark?

Great video! But I have a question. I have the option between this at 32gigs + 1tb ssd or the new gen 8 with a 4070, 16gb of ram and a 512gb ssd at the same price.
Which should I get and why?

I’d go 4070 because you can always upgrade the RAM and SSD. Whereas the GPU is locked in.
I don’t love this for work because the battery stinks. But I should have been clearer: if your laptop is mostly docked, you’re fine.
@@TechAdventure1 but isn't the 3080 ti better than the 4070? Especially future proofing wise? Because the 16gb of VRAM are definitely more secure than the 8 of the 4070

I'm freaking confused for the last couple of weeks. I'm willing to buy Legion 7 Gen 7 AMD Advantage. This Laptop has Ryzen 9 6900HX, Radeon RX6850M XT 12 GB GDDR6 Graphic card, 32 gb DDR5 ram, 2 TB SSD. It now costs around 2180 USD (previously it was 2800). Will it be better than 3070ti? or will this gpu equally perform with RTX 4070 mobile? I'm actually worried about it's content creation ability. will it be good enough for content creation? And Is it worth for the price? please give me a reply.
I wouldn’t be worried about content creation. That’s a powerful GPU. The 4000 series offers DLSS 3 which is pretty sweet for gaming. The 4070 itself is not necessarily as powerful as the 6850M XT. It depends on the game, resolution and such.
I ended up returning mine when the 6850M XT was getting beaten by at least 12-15% in FPS by the other laptop I had with an 8GB 4070. It also had noticeable screen tearing.
I want to focus on your laptop's fan sound to compare the noise with my legion7i, but you never rest
My legion has a beaded sound inside the whistle on the fan sound.
