I think Arran 10 is very different. My bottle of Hazelburn is very dirty. Machine oil, slightly rotten pineapple and yogurt. I will always have one of these on my shelf
When Hazelburn was $70ish it was an ok value. Now at $90 no thanks. Even Springbank 10 year at $90 is a stretch for me. Regarding availability I haven’t seen it at retail by me since 2019.
I prefer this to Arran 10 *because* it has less barrel impact, but that price difference is really tough to overcome.

Thx for the video, I do agree about your tasting notes for this. But I don't believe Arran 10 is similar with this; Arran 10 does have that ummph :)
Great review. You might want to lower the background music about 20%. I like it, but it was a bit too much.

Arran 10 doesn't come close to Hazelburn 10 IMO. Interesting thoughts.
Also Longrow gold was super meh to me. That was when it was $46. Now if I see that one no way I’m buying it. It just wasn’t that good.
$100 would be cheap for this expression. That's not pricey by today's scotch price standards.
