A solid score for a solid dram. Lagg, with the knowhow of Arran will be one of the distilleries to watch and love in the near future. They're doing great things and hopefully will get much better with time. Cheers!
Greetings. I did a semi-blind of the Lagg vs. Cairdeas, Uigeadail & Cu Bocan 15. All are similar in profile, Price & abv. Lagg came 2nd only to Cairdeas that night. Good dram. Wish it were cheaper of course. Thanks for the Cairdeas review. I was always hesitant to try Laphroaig again because I initially found it challenging. I now have a backup of that Cairdeas bottle. Fantastic. Enjoying the reviews. Cheers.
This one packs a punch-I almost couldn't finish my dram when I tried it, but it was so complex and interesting. I think this would make for a beautiful 8 or 10-year-old, but it's too young for me right now. Thanks for the review.
Almost at 500! Keep up the content!!! Ratings on this one is very tough. It might have been better to leave it at a high 7, than barely an 8. Think about who you have put this against on that 8 rating, as you mentioned. For example Sanaig, for around $70s and a strong 8, vs this one. Also, for the price it is pretty tough to go for it.

I got the Kilmory edition on offer for 50 euro here in Ireland. Great young whisky. Very industrial and lively. Will probably go for this one next.
