They’re Rockboard flat midi cables. You can get them via Amazon or Reverb. Make sure the position of the ends work for your pedals as they’re not rotateable. www.amazon.com/Rockboard-Flat-MIDI-Cable-Angled/dp/B0781PZ9PL
Not sure what exactly what you mean. Many Stomp MIDI commands are CC based. For example: a MIDI CC of 69 with a value of 1 will make it go to Snapshot 1 of the current preset.
@@marklong2951 yeah I figured out how to emulate fs and changing from snapshots and switching to stomp/ Scroll mode but I’m looking to assign say preset 10A from stomp to Bank 1 page1 preset A on the Morningstar for an example. I’ll check out the manual

So you are using the MC6 to change the stomp and your other wet effects? I mostly use the stomp as amp/cab only at the end of my board and would like less tapping around for changing my boss delay and big sky. This is all new to me
Yes, the MC6 is changing snapshots, views, tuner on/off and individual modules in HX Stomp as well as turning on/off and changing presets on the Ventris reverb and Nemesis delay.
Which delay sounds better? Nemesis or hx stomp? I have a nemesis and I like its sound, but I'm thinking of buying the hx stomp to replace it... What do you think?
Either works great for me. I love the Nemesis, but my main reason for that and the Ventris is to offload DSP from the Stomp. My main board is based around Helix Floor and I use the delays in it(same as Stomp). If you’re only using a Stomp for delays, that seems like an expensive option.
Saw your post on the facebook page. Did you manage to get tap working with the HX Stomp? I'm right now having the same thing. Tempo is pretty much half of what it should be
James Tan - I do have it working mainly for a tremolo block. Since my delay is the Nemesis, I tap the tempo directly on it. I can look at how I have the MC6 set if you need it, but it may take me a few days as it’s packed right now.
James Tan - I have a screen shot of the tap tempo, but looks like I can’t post it in a response here on YT. If you tag me in a response in the FB post you saw, I can post it there. Short answer is that it’s a Press action of CC 64, Value 127, MIDI channel 2, which is my Stomp.
The switch layout is in the manual. Mine is 2 of these in one enclosure. Here is the link: morningstarengineering.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MC6MKII/pages/524689/v3.4#EXP-1-&-2

Excellent ! May I ask you if it's possible to get the shematics of your DIY footswitch please
DENISDNSM there’s a link in the reply to the comment below yours. It’s two of those in 1 box.
Mark, what CC changes preset? I can’t find that in the midi library on Morningstars site? Like preset 10c for instance?

Page 48 of the Stomp manual(2.65 version) tells you what MIDI is needed to send to the Stomp. That section will give you a lot of info.
@@marklong2951 thanks mark ! I’m using only Morningstar midi dictionary which seems limited to say the least

Hi sir! One question. How can i controll multiple devices by MC6? Mc6 have only one midi out. I have HX stomp and ZOIA. Please bless me 😢😢

Any chance there is a layout for your external switching device? I would love to build and add something like that to my mc6 rig!
